I honestly have NO idea how I haven't found this one sooner, it's literally right next to my bike route to Gungahlin, I must have passed it at least 20 times or more. Maybe it's because the fence and long grass scared me, or that it seemed a little bit of a time waste as I would pas it again some other time, idk.
Finally decided to find it once and for all and wow, that was easy. No idea why I haven't attempted this before.
Log is VERY full, signed my name at the very front. TFTC specimenX!

#3204 This was one of those caches that you notice copping a DNF from time to time. After collecting a mint tin in Franklin we chose to have a look here on our way home. I almost surprised myself as I had my hand on the cache within moments. Thanks specimenX for placing this cache. We just managed to double up logging on a page with a previous finder however the logbook is overflowing.
Quick find, but then had to wait for a squillion ants to disperse before I could open the cache.
I have been past this spot soooo many times, but always going 80kmh on Gungahlin Drive. Today I had a few minutes spare and came in from the safe side. Cute little wetland. I wonder why they fenced it in. The fence is falling down now in one part. Looks like someone drove into the panel.
Logbook, including cover pages, is full!
TFTC
This also happens to be cache #100 for March 2022

A quick and easy find in the obvious spot after a nearby event today, thanks specimenX.
The logbook, however, is completely full and needs to be replaced.

Made the mistake of thinking one point seven meant star pickets, but eventually got on target. TFTC ️
We couldn't find this one I worry that someone else has found it and chucked it in the pond, or because the log was full it was taken.
Late night find after dinner at the club with the family.
Love this hide. The hint confused the ferret side of the team, but I had a fair idea straight away.
Thank you

Found with AngelG27 on an early morning caching run before work. She did most of the finding while I was the useful driver and sidekick! TFTC
Cache 6843 on 1 Dec 2020.
Early morning mission with Bobl27 to avoid the heat of the day and get back to my home office before my meetings start for the day. Aimed for mostly quick finds, with some of them having had work done beforehand. Six caches found to show for our morning’s work.
Last one for the morning. Have been meaning to grab this one for ages, but it was never the right time. The grass was long at GZ, so contemplated a few options, but eventually landed on the right place to make the find. Log book full, so just put initials in the margins. Nicely constructed hide too and some of the frogs were enjoying the mild morning air! Fav point comin at ya!
Thanks specimenX for the cache and the fun!

Found on a walk through the suburbs with Aussiepuschaks who found the cache previously, the log was full however managed to find a small space to stamp. TFTC
Decided I needed to go for a walk and get out of the house thus evening even if it was drizzling. Rugged up and eyed out a few caches to do nearby that I haven't done yet. Frogs were ribbeting merrily in the rain. TFTC
Sneaky little hide. Found with regancam and pando8. Tftc. Log is full needs a new one
After a missed FTF in the suburb over I was feeling like one last cache before returning home. This was long on my radar but alway out of the way, while in the sidestreets already I made my way over and found a nicely constructed cache hide at GZ.
Quick find, nice cache, all in good order.
Thank you specimenX for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Of the 241 caches attempted, 225 were "Finds" and 16 were DNFs. All caches in good condition but generic log due to the sheer amount of how they blend into each other after a while. TFTC!
This weekend represents The Stumble's annual Canberra trip. We travelled from Goulburn through to Queanbeyan via Tarago (food and service is really good at the pub) and Bungendore.
Out of 241 caches attempted, 225 were "Finds" and 16 were "DNFs". All caches, unless otherwise stated were in good condition. Cache locations varied but those prickly trees were the WORST!! We did encounter a few unique hides which we have awarded FPs for.
We left a lot of swag along the way for the kidlets and deposited a couple of TBs that needed moving on.
To all the CO, TFTC and the (at times) challenges in finding them. Apologies for the generic logs but 241 caches blend in to each other after a while!!
Co-ords are way off. Read the description carefully - it actually tells you where the cache is.....its just a matter of picking which "one point seven"!

Out with Joolay for our afternoon adventure. This one took us a little as we searched around and then found it in the first place I looked!!! We had just needed Joolay’s muscles. I then looked up and realised just how close we were to the main road.. the bird songs and paddocks had lulled me into a false sense of isolation! Lol. Thanks for the cache.
Sneaky but good. Found with Nibletricecakes as our cache for the day. Nice view around. Log book is full. TFTC
I had found my daily cache in the area so this was my "just one more" cache. Never really played/liked Frogger back in my youth but I liked this cache. It definitely stumped me for a while and I almost gave up with the thought that it was perhaps too hard at night time. But I stuck with it and tried one last thing.
I walked away from GZ and simply started again. I identified the likely gz position from 20-30 metres away and then walked in. Unless my GPS was completely out, there was only one real spot. Other likely hiding spots were just too far away and I had already searched them.
I checked the spot before me but there was just nothing there. Crazily I gave the thing a little shake and I heard something. Aha! I soon had CIH. I kicked myself because I had checked such a hiding spots earlier and was greeted by spiders. Obviously this particularly one gave me enough resistance that I had ruled it out and moved on.
Glad to have found it. TFTC

I started my day with a fantastic walk in the Gungaderra Grassland Reserve. I found some amazing plants in there, some I knew, many I didn’t, as a Victorian. I then of course stopped for a clever hide that would have required a decent amount of planning. Thanks!

Day 14: Clear Waters Mega Trip
The plan for today is Challenges, the final few suburbs, a kayak or two and some interesting DT type combos!
Thanks specimenX for being part of my Clear Waters adventure.

Another Day of Geocaching
Easier than I made it. After searching in all the wrong places I changed tack and soon had CIH. Tftc.
Beautiful day today decide to do some caches on my last day of my holiday back to work soon, found and log and place back.TFTC specimenX
We have had a few adventures with frogs at home of late (they squeal really loudly when you jamb them in a sliding door I can assure you!), so when I saw this cache on the map I had to come along and make the find.
Took the advice and approached from within the suburb (not even sure if you can access it from the road?) and found a nicely set up cache.
Thanks, Specimen X

I was nearby for an event and had a break for a couple of hours, so decided to go for a walk and get a cache, despite the cold wind and drizzle. Lots of roadworks about, so I had to detour, which took me close to this one. GPS kept pointing inside the fenced area, but I remembered the comment in the description. After some searching had CIH. TFTC.
A still very warm evening after a hot day, so an after work bike ride beckoned. A cruise over to Palmerston and then beside Gungahlin Drive to this interesting spot. A chorus of namesakes serenaded me as I found the cache in the first place I looked. TNLNSL TFTC

Found after a lovely day at floriade. Not where I interpreted the hint to mean but fairly quick anyway. Tftc

Off on a ride to bumming, was such s beautiful day decided to take the scenic route and look for caches in the area, found frogged but can't believe I had no pen!
Found this on a sunny Sunday unfortunately I don't have a pen with me and there is not one in the cache
Found with my geoparents, Boeing737 and WhiteChocolateMocha. Seen this type of hide many times before, so it was a quick find!
The Froggycache clan have been saving this cache for some time, but today was the day to claim it - this marks our 1,000th find!! A most appropriately named cache that deserves a +1.
Not too many places you can look without really over-doing the search, mostly a process of elemination. There's plenty of log space too, we signed just after halfway though the book.

Parked close by in a back street and just a very short walk to the cache. Found ok but log is very full and just squeezed my name in the back. Thanks for the cache specimenX.
Early morning with dty73 & a thick fog & heavy frost on the ground. Good hint. First for the day. Kutgw
Parked on the side of gungahlin drive in the frosty foggy morning. Pretty busy road, even at 6am on a Saturday. Youban and I made the precarious walk across the reeds to GZ. Luckily the reeds out weighed the water underneath. A familiar hide made the find quicker thank goodness, as we were then back in the warm car asap. Tftc!!!
Came and grabbed this for my daily, after spending the day at the Canberra Quilters drop in sewing day
TFTC - I actually did what I was told for once, and parked in side street

Found at 1147. This is our last day in Canberra, we leave tomorrow morning. I hope that when we come back for a visit the weather is a little better. The hint helped with this find. TFTC.
F(H)ound It! #1410 - @3:16:00 PM
I did as you recommended and parked in a side street and it was a short walk to GZ. As I waded through the knee high fresh spring grass I mused on how a frog pond is like a full larder for a hungry snake. So me and the Ridgeo-pup did the Frogger stomp on our way to the fence. Thanks for the cache, specimenX

Found after circling the fence. Squeezed my name on the back cover of the log. TFTC.
A nice stroll on a beautiful afternoon with McBarron, the geokids and geodog. Spent a good while hunting around under the autumn debris (and local green waste!) getting frustrated until we spotted something that wasn't like the others. McBarron checked one, two and third time lucky! Great hide. Log is full - managed to squeeze our names on the back cover. TFTC
#1068. 84 days in a row.
I needed to kill a bit of time between some training for work and meeting a friend for dinner. This cache was not too far out of the way, so I headed over to it. I started searching and discovered that my first thought about where it might be hiding was correct, just in the wrong specific location out of a few possibilities.
I had already decided to park in the suburb before I drove out and hadn't looked at the cache description until I was walking toward GZ, so I'm glad I made the right choice.

Easy walk from suburbia. Neighborhood muggle out for his smoke meant we had to stall. Nice to see a different hide. TFTC
I headed down the track to grab this cache and for once went straight to the hide. Nicely constructed and all in good condition. Thanks again SpecimenX
# 1663 I thought Dad you log it. He thought I was doing it. Turns out no one did it.
We were at the shops picking up a few things when Champs remembered that we hadn't made a find for today, I had a quick look on the phone and discovered a nearby cache, but as we drove there I refreshed it to find it had been archived. This was the next closest.
Dad was wandering around in the ankle deep water on the grass while I stayed high and dry and found the cache

Tonight was a night I could have easily given up my streak given the impressive thunder storm and hail. I ventured out anyway, well wrapped up to keep warm and dry. Thanks to the hint, the cache was quickly found. By the time I got there, it wasn't all that bad being out. Some hail underfoot. TFTC.

It was a very wet night and as usual we took the long rout via the marshes - at least Geowife had her waterproof boots on. With the mist rolling on we could have been anywhere - at least we soon had the cache in hand and we then took the black top back to the truck - a lot easier and dryer. TFTC SX
Parked nearby and after a short walk to GZ the hide was quickly identified and retrieved. Log signed and returned

after erroneously thinking it would be a good idea to let the dogs off the leash and trying to retrieve them from the tall reeds, I discover that I've lost my pen somewhere out here. so, if while searching you find a pen, your welcome! tftc, was fun to find
Knew I'd be back this way today, so after finding the nearby Dom's cache yesterday came back today for this one. Froggies were very much out in full chorus today - a great little spot.
Thanks for the cache specimenX.
