Came back here today to this lovely park to rectify this DNF. Searched around for quite some time, back and forth. The GPS was not playing nice either. Eventually I found a familiar tree from a log photo and fished the cache out with a stick. Thanks again spiderwebbs for bringing me here!

I didnt see any spiders but I did see a snake near the gate between the parking area and the park - a green tree snake I think.

Hubby and I are spending the weekend at the coast, catching up with friends for lunch in Palmwoods today. Afterwards, we came to this busy park to look for this cache. Using the hint, it didnt take too long to find the cache which was 11m out for me. Small fingers came in handy here. Logbook signed and replaced as found. Tftc

First find in a while. Thank you we enjoyed some of the spikey flora and cool fungus in the tree line. Unfortunately we didn't bring a pen but snapped a pic with the geokids. TFTF

Found it. This cache needs some maintenance. We did it many years ago with friends and the thing that makes it is broken and the cache itself is very waterlogged.

No luck for me today. As others had said this one has become detached from its tether. I could not find a decent hidey hole around the area.

Tricky but photos helped. Used an extraction leaf to retrieve. TfTC

I tried to find the cash but the arrow on my phone whenever I got close would move away. At one point I was right near the tree but still could no see it.

A few muggles around. Found the remnants of a tether. Was able to retrieve the cache as I have a small hand. Thanks for the hide!

After completing the AdLab in town we headed to the park here to find the finals. This cache was nearby so we found it while walking around. A nice park for an afternoon stroll.TFTC

Great easy find while visit for a kids party.

After finishing the lab in town we drove down to one of the busiest parks in existence. There were a couple of birthday party’s in swing, a couple of groups smoking meat on webbers in swing, lots of dogs being walked to the swing, and two geocachers that are so ugly they can’t find partners at a swingers convention.

When back in town I grabbed a coffee from one shop that I felt needed a bit of tourist dollar. I should have asked for a charity donation receipt to claim on my tax return because it was busted. I had just enjoyed another coffee in Eudlo that was an absolute cracker and that’s what was carrying me forward.

On the walk in Mrs Woodyrothwell was on her phone, which is normal. She is either texting or playing a game, but karma is a bitch because she walked into a tree. The worst part is that I didn’t see it happen so couldn’t even laugh at her expense. tftc

Staying with some muggle friends and snuck out to grab some caches. Last minute decision to turn into this park and hunt for this one. After a short search I had the cache in hand.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find this one. There just seemed to be so many possible hiding spots. It didn’t help that my GPS signal was bouncing off of all of the trees and giving me constantly changing information.

Wonderful park to discover in Palmwoods tftc

Having enjoyed the adventure lab by the very same CO, we continued our walk around this lovely park and found this one as well.
For some reason the log sheet is a little wet, which is surprising given bison seal still seems to be okay.

Up on the Sunshine Coast today to clean up some more cache. I am working on another challenge cache.
I had a FTF my list and a few others. Today haul was 16 physical caches and 5 waypoints so 21 finds. So the breakdown is 14 traditional, 2 mystery and a adventure labs with 5 waypoints.

Had lots of fun today caching.

Not a flip flop friendly find. Beware of snakes! Also the tube is no longer red and has faded to silver.

Didn’t sign due to it being a bit wet. line was not attached to incy, hooked cache with a stick, left in there and covered up. Great find.

My GPS couldn’t decide which way to point under here so I put it away and had a look around for a spot where I would hide a geocache. One likely spot stood out but I approached from the wrong direction originally so I did not get the full affect. I am very glad that La Kedi was not with me today as she may have never recovered.TFTC spiderwebbs4

Checked in on this one today. Incy spotted straight away, then had to search or rather dig hard for the cache. But it is there! Was buried deep in wormy mulch in the tree hollow, still attached to Incy though. Left more uncovered but if not easy to spot just dig around a bit.

Great park. Couldn’t find the fork either though

This is a great area that has a lot of different things to do while here. Today we were looking for a geocache that unfortunately eluded us. we had a fairly good search and did find a short piece of fishing line attached to a tree but with nothing on the other end.
If this was the cache then it has gone, if not we just missed it today.

Geez, a picnic in this park 4 years back. Wow. This time I have a wombat and they are pretty good at sniffing things out. Thankfully, mine did and it felt great to turn the blue frown face into a smiley. All whilst having a picnic and a cuppa in the shelter. Tftc

This was such a nice park, and my muggle aunt recalled the failed search here four years ago with mum, so we decided to have lunch and duly spread out our packed piknik.
After lunch, mum and i strolled purposefully over to the nearby shrubbery where i marched right in.
Wow! what a beautiful little creek setting. Overshooting the mark and coming up emptyhanded, i stood back, looked around, then walked on over to it. i still got a good jump, even having read about it. haha. good job there.

Found it in a very good spot

Checking for some possible suspicious fake logging activity on some of our caches. The log here was indeed not signed by the cacher that logged it. Also confusing as the recycled log sheet that I had put in last time still had the name of the previous cache on it, so removed and replaced with a new blank logsheet.
Please sign the logsheet or your log may have to be deleted - need proof of your find.
