Today out and about on 253 of 274 days to get my daily cacher Emerald Using my Garmin Etrex 22X, Garmin Montana 700 and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
This was the last day of our Hahndorf holiday and we had purchased every tourist thing possible today. There was wine, cheese, coffee beans, wine, sauces and more wine. We had come out to Gumeracha to see the big horse and we were making the area our last search for the week.We were actually coming off a couple of DNFs so our plans of cleaning up the town of La Cucaracha was not going well. Every cacher has visions of cleaning up a location in case you never come back, but that would be plain boring. This hide looked like it was heading the same way because I couldnt see anything. Then Mrs Woodyrothwell got out of the car and her eyeballs rolled so far back into her head I could hear them scraping against her skull. All I heard was What is wrong with you? As she handed me the hide. tftc
This was my third visit here. Within 30 seconds found the cache. No idea why I struggled so much the first 2 times! Tftc.
Lovely area for this time of year was out and about on a caching day, it took a few minutes to find . TYFTC
Found it! Nice little picnic spot, there were many possible hiding places. Found after a minute or so, spotted something that didnt belong and there it was! TFTC!
Saturday caching day today, despite the weather with the odd shower or two to avoid also kept the muggles at bay making for a easier search at several locations throughout the day, enjoying some country back roads one of the pleasures of caching, this was a quick find on one of these roads. Remember when this series first came out when we were working in the mid north and this was our only unfound one left which we changed into a smilie, sneaky little hide

It's the season for cherry picking. Today the whole family visited a cherry farm near Kersbrook, and tried some caches on the way. We found 12 traditional caches, and 1 DNF due to muggle activity.
This was the eleventh find for today.
Parked on the other side of the road, and walked to GZ.
A quick search found no cache. So I revealed the hint. Now I know where to check.
Cache has been found quickly. Sorry little spider, I had to destroy a small spider web, to get the cache.
Signed the log sheet, and put the cache back. Covered it well.
Thanks for the cache, Aussie M & M.

We were taking some detours back to our accommodation and decided to stop here for a quick find. Thanks for the cache
We had looked for this cache earlier in the year but without success. Today we returned hoping for better luck. The shorter member of the team looked in a location but did not feel anything. The taller member was able to look in and saw something familiar and on closer inspection, the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Aussie M & M for the well hidden cache.
I spent an enjoyable day exploring and geocaching around the Mt Crawford area. Weather was good for geocaching and thankfully no rain.
Found after a short search.
Thanks for the cache Aussie M & M.

After a short search of the usual places the cache was discovered after finding something that didn't add up. Cache is in great location. Beautiful scenery. Tftc
Oooo sneaky! These are beautiful trees and it was lovely looking around them for a good hide. TFTC
Circled the trees , narrowed in and found its hiding spot.
Shiny! Shiny! DNF behind me!

This one was a previous DNF for me back in 2017, so while I was in the area tonight, I had to attempt to remedy that horrible blue frowny face on the map.
Arriving at GZ, it was bucketing down with rain, but I couldn’t leave that sad face on the map. Out I got, torch in hand and started doing laps of the trees.
Around and around I went, getting wetter and wetter. Damn DNF. Where are you?
Then I spotted something in an unusual naturally, but not so much for a geocacher, object. Moving that aside revealed the shiny little prize.
Woo Hoo! No more blue dot on my map!
Thanks for the cache Aussie M & M.

Having done "Vision of Light", I suspected muggling here and that was confirmed when I sent a photo to the CO. The issue has been rectified, and I get to be the first name on the new log. This is the 3rd closest cache to home for me, so good to finally have it sorted!

Having dropped my brother and his girlfriend of at the medieval fair in Gumeracha I decided to do a bit of caching in the area before picking them up at the end of the day. I decided to head up to Mount Crawford to do a few of the caches there, but of course, I could not resist picking up a few caches along the way. At Mount Crawford it was a pleasant walk along the boardwalks, collecting caches along the way before heading back to the car. Heading back into Gumeracha I picked up a few more caches along the way, including a few puzzle finals on what was a rather enjoyable afternoon.

I didn’t really get the hint as it isn’t quite that large! A little bit of a search and the cache was found.
A last minute plan this morning to go for a drive and do some caching, it was a matter of just go to the next closest cache and see where I ended up, restricted by time. I started up near gameracha and cached around there and forreston area.
Good to be able to find some caches that haven not been found for a year or so. A total of 25 finds and 1 DNF.
Thanks for the cache.

Found the well hidden sneaky thing after a short search. Luckily the hint help point me in the right direction. Would have taken ages otherwise. TFTC
After spending the day visiting some lovely locals I made this find on the way home, nice spot in a lovely little area of Adelaide.
Vision of light was a pretty awesome cache in its day! A perfect 1000 milestone!!!

I've had my eye's on this one for a long time as it mentions my name and most favourited cache Vision of Light. Thanks Aussie M & M for this tribute to the cache at a lovely green location at this time of the year.
Last time we looked it was missing, looks like you're had continual fun with this one but thanks for keeping up with it!
This is cache is all good and has been replaced with a new container and log.
I reckon I spent the better side of 30 minutes here trying to find this wee one... no luck for the Bird of Blue today [v]. Oh well, there will be another time. I hope it's not been Muggled [:o]
Thanks for the challenge anyways, Aussie M & M

Had a look. Found some likely spots. Couldn’t find any cache. I will have to return another day.
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Heading back to the office after working in the area and saw this was on the way so stopped in to make the find. Wandered round for waaaaaay toooooo long checking a lot of other spots before spotting another likely spot which just happened to have a cache. Signed log and replaced. I do remember my 1000th find. It was carefully planned on Leap day and at the time was the highest DT rating I had achieved to date. Honing in on the 2000 mark and this is find 1937

This cache has been replaced with permission by caching friends. It is all good to go again.
thanks to the lovely Astro the et al found this and dragged me to find and log. so glad to have this crossed off my list. TFTC everyone
We remembered and with the CO's permission assisted the universe and replaced the cache. The next finders should be a lot happier than the last bunch.
I remember my 1000th cache - that was a while ago. The cache (BH cottage https://coord.info/GLDTFAJ ) has been archived but every time I go past the place I recall the day I cracked 3 figures. A quotable part of my log on that cache reads:
++++++++{snip}
By my reckoning, this is the official TeamAstro cache 1000. I would like to thank all of those who have taken part in this journey, especially the other cachers I have met along the way, and especially each and every cacher who has placed caches that TeamAstro has found (or will find in the future). The memories seem endless – too many to mention in this log. Again, a big big thankyou to all of you [^][^][^][^][^]
++++++++{snip}
Again, the message is still true! [^]
Thanks to Aussie M & M and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! and thanks for the memories.

The cache is gone, but the cache hiding spot is all good. Will be going past tomorrow and replacing the cache and will re enable it then.
So many possibilities so little finding. Not found even. Will try again another day
Apologies for the late log - I thought I had logged already. No luck today but lots of options here. One of the nearby trees had been removed so the cache could have been here - or we are just blind. Thanks for the hunt today
Find # 4146
In Mount Barker (our Home for the week) for our annual trip to watch the Santos Tour Down Under Bike race.
Well the day had come, that I would drop off Tyred n Cranky at their Start line in Birdwood, so they could participate in the Bupa Challenge ride. My job was to, now, meet them at the finish line. so with some time to kill. I went a hunting, Plastic that is!
While here about 200+ riders passed me. But thankfully I was partly hidden from them and I was quite sure none would stop to see what I was doing. seeing as there was a slight down hill run into town..

Out at a Birthday party up the road at the big rocking horse and thought I might find some caches in the area... Second cache for the day. Great little spot TFTC
I'd been asked to take care of a matter for another game while heading out to Mt Crawford for orienteering. As this cache was nearby I decided to have another look after a previous fail (one quick lap around the wrong tree several months ago when this location was a rest stop on a bike ride) and came up trumps. The cache was staring at me in all it's glory, it's now better hidden.
Thanks for the cache Aussie M & M.

Found on this chilly winter's day after a bit of a search...we know what to look for...then it was found...TFTC
J and J brought up their 1000th find by attending their third and last geocache event. Luckily, we've also found the cache mentioned in the hint, which helped to narrow down our search area...by a bit...
The cache was eventually found in it's dismissable little location, which made us happy. [^]
I think Mrs J really wanted to find this one, as when I made the announcement, she started throwing sticks at me!
Thanks Aussie M & M.

G'day Aussie M&M
I needed a memorable cache for me 19452nd find
And this delightful roadside area near the big rocking horse popped up with a cache to find
A learner driver had dared to park next to the picinic table !! [:o]
They were not going to hang around too long
So with the coast soon clear,
I coasted in to find the cache after a shortish search.
Not quite as short a search as I hoped,
but I got there in the end
TFTC !!!

Checked cache and it is definitely there. This is sometimes hard to find. All good at the moment.
After enduring warm summer's days and recovering after many Christmas family gatherings, a day of gathering smileys was enjoyed. We learned more history and geology of this wonderful area

Nice quick find on our way to Pomegranite Cafe in Birdwood. Not quite like the Light's vision, it's a little simpler. Thanx
