Looked everywhere for this one today. Thought it would be an easy one. But it wasn't. The CO might want to have a look as it hasn't been found for quite a while. My guess it's been muggled. I'll keep it on my watch list as we are camping in the area for the next week. Hopefully the CO can confirm if its still there or not before we head home.
Another DNF today
Maybe there's a reason why there haven't been any logs for almost 3 months?
Or maybe we need new glasses

Travelled from Melbourne up to the Gold Coast. Made my way to Nambucca River and stopped at the nearby rest/picnic area to stretch the legs and find a cache. I headed up onto the bridge but that proved to be unsuccessful so went under. Lots of pigeon poop here and I used the hint as a guide to search. Did quite a few chin ups looking for this cache. In the end found it and realized didn't need to exert so much energy. Still muscles got a good workout. SL, took TB which I will move on and replaced. TFTC Nudge74
Figured this one shouldn't take much time on our way to Dorrigo. Found a fledging and a nestling pigeon as well as the cache.

This is the second cache near our motel this morning. We left a TB with a goal to go to the western states . TFTC
Quick find, but sure if it was supposed to be where I found it (out in the open/uncovered).

Imagine my face when I looked where I thought it would be and came eye to eye to a giant lizard. I don't know who was more frightened, me or him. We looked further afield and found the cache nice and dry.
Driving up to Gold Coast for a holiday, from Canberra! Long trip so needed a few stops, this being one of them.
Stopped in here for lunch, and found this cache! While I was searching, a local approached me and knew what I was up to!
He of course had found it before, but a long time ago and the cache was not in the same spot he found it..... It took both of us a good search to finally come up with the goods, we were getting a bit worried The cache container has certainly improved as he informed me it used to be a sharps container. Thanks for the hide!

Ah, yes, but which slope? I used to build bridges in NZ. Most are nice examples of good engineering, even if a little narrow for today's traffic flows. Thank you.
As the rain started up again we thought we had time for one more and figured we might get some shelter at GZ. The exposed aggregate on the slope with a touch of water made the area slippery. A bit of a hunt and nothing obvious popped up and a read of a past log suggested they had gone too high so we looked lower and widened a bit only to spot some camo a little higher than we thought. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

Swellerfungus, Crookedpete and I hit the road to cache our way from Brisbane to Gloucester NSW and back, picking up some specific caches along the way. On the homeward leg now and we stopped of here to make a find to help my travelling companions complete a distance challenge they are working towards. We spent quite a while looking here and I think most places were inspected at least three times. Thankfully Swellerfungus' perseverance paid off and the cache was finally located. TFTC
Final day of a weekend road trip with SeffnJarah and Swellerfungus.
And what a busy weekend it was too! The tally board included a few scratches, 11 hours sleep, 1760 kms driving, a dozen eggs, a couple of kilograms of bacon, 73 finds (including 1 event, 2 souvenirs, 2 letterboxes, 3 earthcaches, 4 completed challenge caches, 3 T5's) and a completed DT grid. Best of all, there was whole bellyful of laughs and lots of good humoured banter.
Three of us searched and searched for this one. Fungus really needed it for a challenge cache, and his perseverance paid off in the end.
Thanks for the cache, Nudge 74

Out and about with CrookedPete and seffnjarrah as we head south for a caching weekend of high difficulty and terrain ratings, as well as a run to Taree to grab the 1.9/1.9 D/T rating challenge. We also need some caches for another challenge that requires a cache hidden every 10klms from home. Both CP and I needed a lot to complete the challenge, and this one fitted the bill nicely.
This took us a lot longer than I expected. A clever little hide. Well played Nudge!

It was a somber trip to macksville with the recent death of Phil Hughes. Stopped at the star hotel for lunch and crossed the bridge again to get this cache. Tftc #408
Frustrating after a good 15 minutes of searching with @Weebindi we couldn't find the cache. Hope it hasn't been muggled otherwise we aren't as clever as we thought!
Was in Macksville for a meeting and had a bit of time first. I hadn't brought any of my geocache equipment with me. But, I remembered the clue for this one (last time I'd been near the spot there had been far too many muggles around - but this time almost deserted). The clue was enough - TFTC
After a successful find at our last location we headed back to Macksville for a couple more attempts before heading home.
Found the park for the cache - also found a car that had been involved in an incident with the Armco and abandoned. Reported car to police and then off to find the cache. Quick find, sign and replace.

This is day four of a trip to the area with Brother Colin. We had several challenge caches we wanted to complete and I think the trip has been quite successful.
We were all packed up and making our leisurely way home now. We decided to visit some caches with along the way.
This was a convenient rest stop with some proper facilities.
Brother Colin had found this on his last trip so he looked on with amusement as I looked for the cache. A fairly quick find thanks

A quick find after a day at the Rudy iron rally. Took Nothing Left nothing. Slgned Log .
Found this morning and this would have to be a favorite for mr for nostalgia Lived in Macksville for almost 10 years 30 years ago My son got caught jumping off that bridge I rode my horse to the show grounds over that bridge and kept so far to the left that I popped 2 tires on that bridge and I worked at the Star so the bridge was part of my view. Thanks for the cash
Today, klettercache and me were driving with our rental car from Port Macquarie to Byron Bay. I knew in advance that this will be a challenging drive along the Pacific Highway but it was even worse than expected before.
We were faced with an accident occurring right behing the starting point and which led to a completely blocked highway. No alternative route available.
We therefore decided to make an additional touristic feature in Port Macquarie and as it was the Koala Hospital, it was really worth the extra stay. On the other hand, we left PM very late and did not arrive in Byron Bay before sunset. We could anyway see some nice beaches inbetween, we really experienced the change to the subtropical vegetation (including bananas, sugar cane,...) and of course we stopped several times during our trip in order to find some caches. Unfortunately, there have also been some DNF's but we will not log them as in most cases we assume that we simply were too stupid to find the containers.
This was one of the caches we could find.
Thanks for hiding it at the nice place.
