Looked around here for quite some time. So much mud and so many places to look. Will have to try another day.
No luck today I believe it ms still there but like many before us struggling to find it.
Hasn’t been found in a while so unsure what condition it would be in. Wasn’t a place I felt like spending a long time look. Another day
Day 66 of our 366 day straight challenge.
Stopped by here after attending my dad's 60th birthday at the park up the toad. Spent a fair bit of time searching, and just as I was about to give up Mr 14 spotted the clever hide. Now to get the mud off the geokids before getting back in the car! TFTC a fab from us for the clever hide.

Well hidden cache. Took a lot of search and several attempts. Nice to turn this ones into a smiley face. TFTH
I lost count of how many times I drove past this point years ago, and a past attempt was unsuccesful. After the event down the road, a group of us met there and finally I can have a smilie here! TFTC AP!
This cache has been on my 'must-do-list' ever since it got published but had kept it for a dry summers day. Well quite a few summers have passed since so today was the day. Great hide as usual by Keego_and_Chil. It was a Team effort after the event nearby to collect the smilie.

A quick find, helps when there are a lot of teams here after the event down the road. TFTC
It was great to meet so many famous catchers at the event down the road. A group of us headed out to look for this one - I’m sure I wasn’t the only one to have been hunting it for several years. Especially exciting to find it - and well worth getting filthy as it’s an ingenious hide.
After many trips and a hint from a fellow cacher we have finally had success here! Thanks for the greasy memories and the final satisfaction that we have at the moment as we finally could add our name to the log book! Thanks for the hide!
Well well well. I have tried and tried, wow it took a while. But hint was given and freely taken and i finally found the cache. So happy to have found it. Its a dnf i have tried to restore many times. Thats two from two today that i have changed from a blue sad face to a yellow happy face. I have to give this a favourite as it has had me stumped for a while. now to get a bike to clear the other caches on my start up screen....
I hope it does not ge

I was in the area today and decided to see if this cache was still in place.
I can confirm that this evil hide is still in its rightful place and is waiting to be found.
Can the reviewer please remove the needs archived log? Thanks

Trying hard to not get this one archived I asked for a hint from a previous finder. But couldn't find it. I think there has be maintenance here as there are new steel beams that I don't recall seeing last time... tftc though and I do hope the CO's start caching again!
Beaten by Jinta. We were going to check it out today to see if it was still in place. It is one of those cache that you have to touch and move to realise it is the item. No need to get too dirty when finding it.
This was to be our first cache of the day but we picked the wrong day to attempt this one. After all the rain of late the water level in the creek was up and the area was a slush pit. Attempted a quick look but retreated with iluvtrekking to put on our 'to do' list for a fair weather caching day. Thanks K&C
[^] AWESOME hide here and this one is absolutely worthy of a fave point from us . Well done Keego_and_Chil, we look forward to finding more like this one [^]

This one was discussed recently around a campfire with some fellow cachers and today I had the chance to have a third go at finding it. Hunted around for a few minutes and eventually located the tricky sucker without getting too dirty.
Very glad too have this one crossed off the list, awarding a favourite for the clever cache construction and crafty hide.
Keego_and_Chil I found your cache at 4:26pm, this was the 2nd of 4 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2315. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Heading home, enough light left to grab a cache.
Having overheard a previous finder talking, something was mentioned that convinced me to hunt longer than I probably would have.
It looks like the maintenance crew have been through and topped up the grease levels. Not a clean hunt but I finally found the prize.
A great hide here and a favourite point from me for the placement. Like being able to hunt unmatched.

Been wanting to tick this one off for a while now but our first attempt a few weeks back was thwarted by road works.
Back today with the kids and hesitantly made our way under the bridge, a geo friend had warned us yesterday he'd seen a tiger snake here when he did the cache and we were on high alert with all those reeds and water.
Despite our valiant efforts through the mud and spider webs and grease this one was not to be for us today.

Had a hint from a previous finder for this one so stopped in for a quick look today on the way past. Still couldn't find it though, I may have misinterpreted the hint. I will be back again one day.
Keego_and_Chil I couldn't find your cache, this was my 1st DNF for the day.

Eventually found the sucker. Devious. Thought I might have been wasting my Friday afternoon and may not have persisted except for the previous log - in hand in 30 seconds?? TFTC Keego_and_Chil.
I headed out this morning towards Forrestdale, with the sole intention of trying to locate Onslow, a Wedge-Tailed Eagle that recently escaped from the Armadale Reptile and Wildlife Centre. Not having much luck, I found myself driving over the bridge here for the first time. I've looked at the cache page many times before and always put off finding it. I headed down the bank with some trepidation of what I was about to find (Or not find...). Within 30 seconds of looking, the cache presented itself to me, and what a great camo job it is. Thanks for the excellent hide here K&C. Fave point for the container.
Got the day off today to attend a funeral this afternoon, so while running some errands in the morning I stopped to have a go at a couple of caches along the way.
Had been meaning to have a go at this one for a while, driven over the bridge several times with the family in tow. On my own today and my fears were realised, the family would not have appreciated the search area. Spent thirty minutes getting mud on my shoes and cobwebs in my hair before trudging back to the car to maybe return another day.

I'm looking forward to meeting other geocachers in Busselton at the 'WA GOES BIG IN 2015' event. Registrations now open.

Went for a drive after work and as I approached GZ I thought to myself this is a perfect spot for a snake... I built up the courage to get to within 1m and looked around... I noticed a bambo stick and grabbed it and poked up top with it hoping something would happen... I looked at the stick and noticed some dry mud so I thought maybe the cache was in the water... As I turned to the water a huge tiger snake was cruising past me in the water and I freaked and ran back to the car... I am very sorry if the stick had to do with the cache but I wasn't going back for a second look tfth = thanks for the heartattack
It took 10 minutes of searching and 20 minutes cleaning mud out of my road bike shoes for me to realise that this is not my idea of fun. Thanks anyway.
This cache has been waiting for months for me to get up the fortitude to go looking for it (I have a major phobia about spiders and webs). Today I found a cache close-by and decided to 'have a go' at this one as well. I managed to turn the phobia off for a short time and went looking, finding the cache within about 5 minutes. Out into the sunshine to log it (I can't write bending over), then relaced the cache where I found it. SL. Thanks to Keego and Chil for the cache.
Re-logging under new team name ONLINE ONLY (were formerly part of TheChatterboxes but the team had got too large). If CO is not ok with this please contact me. Thanks.
Muddy shoes - just cleaned car! Covered in spider webs , dust and even scored some grease but no cache. Need to bring the rest of the team to help locate hopefully.

I wanted to go caching because I had an idea where it was.
Ya I was right. Found, signed and returned as found.

Out and about today, and with an agenda - no going home until I get my 4000th find. After finding three caches on my own, I swung by and grabbed geobuddy Mark to join me on my quest. This one took a lot of searching, with lots of dust, cobwebs and grease collected by us both as we looked. But at least I didn't go a*** up in the mud (nearly did at one point though). Eventually the little blighter was found. Deserves a favourite point. Thanks Keego and Chil
Today we took a drive to Byford to pick up a few caches,
that we had missed on a previous visit.
With plenty of parking close by, we made our way to GZ.
This was a good variation of a popular hide style, it took us a while to locate it.
Thanks for the cache, Keego_and_Chil.

went out with skippy 46 to pick up a couple of caches. this has been on my to do list for a while now so with half an hour left to spare we stopped at this one. Parked at the wrong end of the bridge to start with but once in the correct spot we started the search. we were lucky the water wasnt to high as the mud was very slippery but luck was with us today and within 5 minutes skippy 46 says IVE FOUND IT.....Very sneaky hide and worth a favourite point from me TFTC Keego and Chil
Parked on wrong side of bridge so made the perilous journey along the wooden plank to find Thor.
With concern that I would be lost in the mud pits forever, I resorted to shortening the statute and with my magical sword destroyed the labyrinth that lay between Thor and his minion.

After my previous failure I decided to return on the weekend. There was still lots of car but no bridge shaking trucks to frighten me off. I not sure why I missed seeing the cache last time but there were a few thing that worked in my favour this time. Great cache and well executed.
Thanks Keego_and_Chil.
Thanks Keego_and_Chil.
Was very interested in the placement of this cache as I had looked at this before when placing the Gong series and did not deem it suitable. Well you have outdone yourself this time a quality cache that now is the norm for your hides. Tricky and devious.

I should have known better than to search out an Allied Prankster cache to fill a hole in my calendar.
I did find a few spiders, covered myself in dust, cobwebs, grease and glorious mud. There was so much mud on my boots that my feet doubled in size. With the bridge timbers whacking me on the head each time a truck thundered over the bridge my nerves were quickly shot. So with my tail between my legs I succumb to the environment and headed back to the relative comfort of the car.
After regaining my composure I'm off to the bush to find a container I can see....................
Thanks Keego_and_Chil.

I went looking for this after work today. It was my second try at finding it. I took my time....no hurry just enjoying the sound of the cars and trucks thundering over the bridge while sliding around in the mud and collecting spiders in my hair.
I had my cache finding kit with me so nothing would be missed by my dim eyes.
There are some great ideas for cache finding and I used them all. Look everywhere, be methodical(after being random), touch turn pull on everything, think outside your own pre-conceptions.
after 20 minutes I found what I was looking for. Even then I almost decided I was wrong (damn those pre-conceptions).
Id have to say its a good cache...top effort.
It ticks the boxes of not being near houses and you have good privacy too.
Coords were about 3m-4m out for me but my GPS did not like the area in general. I was wavering in a 8m circle with so many options for places to hide a cache.
Best of luck to all those that follow if we can find it you can too.....Feel safe that it will be there as only a geocacher would ever find it so it should never go MIA.
I also gave this a favorite point..something I dont give out often.

Got home from my volunteer job and the better half decided that she wanted to go caching and start with this one as she had an 'idea'. Arrived at GZ and soon had the cache in hand as the 'idea' the better half had proved accurate. Could see where GZ may have been a problem when the stream was flowing and the water level up much more than it was today.
Thanks Keego and Chil for the cache.
Thanks Keego and Chil for the cache.
Went back for another look with geo sister and geo nephews while searching Chwiliwr pulled in and asked if we had found cache yet, which we hadn't, so with a point in the right direction geo nephew soon had cache in hand, while younger geo nephew waited in car after he had slipped in the mud and was covered in mud head to toe.
Thanks Chwiliwr always enjoy meeting fellow cachers.

Decided to head out again to give this one another go before the rain comes over the weekend with geo sister MalNatBur. After youngest slipped in the mud and was banished to the car wearing only his jocks and tshirt ... Geo sister and oldest geo son decide to give it one last look when Chwiliwr pulled up. Geo son was headed in the right direction and with an expert geocacher on site and some encouragement this one wasnt getting away again and geo son was happy to grab it. Nice to come across Chwilwr today.
Couldn't find after searching at night compass all over the place didn't want give up but this one has got the better of me
Came back for a night look with geo sister looked on the bridge under the bridge the GPS won't settle.... Points us all over the place .... Love to know what we are over looking ... Goodluck fellow geocachers
No luck for me today. Just like the rest of the bunch.
I knew they have all searched the usual places so I decided to get in a bit deeper.
Checked my pockets and emptied them....should be all good now.
Nope left my smart phone in one of the lower ones just above the knee....one fried smart phone. Next time I will check all my pockets better.
My GZ was interesting. It varied in a reliable way. If I stood away from the bridge it was very steady at a small bush 2m from the bridge. As I walked towards the bridge it would then indicate the bridge rail inline with the central most pier.(the one in the water). The varying circle was about 8m in size. That is hard work for micro cache searching.
Lets hope someone else has better luck.
Remember to check all your pockets

Raced out last night as soon as I got the notification searched for a bit but no luck in the dark, forgot to log the dnf whoops.
This one eluded me tonight, some time spent searching all obvious spots and several not so obvious spots but no glory. Foot print evidence of other searchers maybe? or just the CO placing it..
GPS had be in an impossible spot so search area was wide and deep.

Another look after picking up the kids from school, again no luck but the creek had risen about 3 feet up the slope from last night (that is up a gentle slope of the creek bed, not 3 feet straight up) as I could see several of my foot prints in the mud now fully submerged.
Walked away once again empty handed.
Wondering if this cache needs a wading attribute at the moment.
I'll be back after a find or two.

I had a look over and under, even got my feet wet. But find it I did not I'll be watching for when someone does find the clever little sucker. Until then
