Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been longer than 28 days since the last reviewer note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 28 days), just contact us (by email) once the cache is in place, and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
After 2 unable to finds taking it offline until we can check it out and possibly replace it
I would have to say this cache needs a check. Looked for a solid two hours to find nothing but cuts on my arms and grazes down my leg. With a previous person also saying they couldn't find this cage I think the CO should have a look.
Went with new geocachers but couldn't find this today although we had found previously.
View is stunning this morning. I'm having my car serviced in blackheath this morning. Decided to walk to this cache instead of stopping for a coffee in town. Great decision. Its lovely without a soul around. Tftc

TFTC and thank you for the great location. Caches like this make it a worthwhile activity. TNLN
Tftc, circled rock to get gz and had it in 10mins, what a great area, shoulda brang a picanic or at least a cuppa.
We have been going to get around to this one for ages now and today was the day.
The views from just near GZ and the walk in are very nice buy write it was windy today.
Thanks for the cache

Tried for this one yesterday but was foiled by muggles who had settled in on the rock.
Came back early today, the coast was clear and after a bit of searching the clever hide was revealed.

Bridie kitty and matt brennan found the go cashe! Last time it was so windy we didn't find it. But,:):):):) we found it ! Hooray!!!
Reperio at 0910.
Headed off home to Newcastle this morning...but decided to stop by for a few nearby caches first. Enjoyed the walk out along the trail to GZ, and although the view was a little clouded in...it was still a beautiful sight. Once at GZ, I wanted to look in one particular spot...but trusted the coords first...and boy were they spot on! A great way to start the day.

AMAZING views!! My first one in blackheath and very excited to do more. TFTC . Found with walk there.
1818 GAFF1 (Able to find it without looking at the Hint or previous logs) At least with the bush tracks on the GPSr I was able to work where would be good to park. And it didn't take us too long to get close to GZ. The bush there is pretty tough, and the mesh pockets on the back pack got rather torn from the banksias. As my practice is I dropped my back pack when the GPSr says I'm at Ground Zero, and I think MVMB found the container while I was still trying to unhook my pack from the branches. Wasn't able to leave a CSM
Brought through for mileage: 12-12-12 Event, 3 Bros NSW, Auckland NZ'13, B 2 B Travel ingot, Iconic Bridges 2012, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, NZ Mega 2013 GCookie Coin, and trackable shirts.

Having the offer of a lift south (west) meant I was able to get a few caches I normally wouldn't be able to get to. While Cookie was extricating himself (or least his back pack) from the tangle of tough bushes I was able to find the well camoed cache
All good with the cache.

Through: Frank Zappa and Winnie the Pooh TBs, and Zinzan coin

Lovely walk after a few steps though down and up we arrived at gz gos witin 1-2 metres do t give up tftc
The GZ offers so many possibilities but with the photo I knew it had to be on or in or around the Flat Rock!?!
Eventually I spotted it
A really lovely walk including the stream crossing.

An easy walk down to Fort Rock, if the blasting wind can be forgiven. Somewhere new, and the valley vista is superb. Maybe it was the wind, but the Garmin compass spun merrily, and the possibilities at the GZ did seem endless. A micro?? I should never have been here without the Nano Queen handcuffed to my wrist ... for another day. TFTC
Back in Bleakheath on a much nicer day, and parking at a different trailhead, I was at GZ quicker than I expected and made the (woo hoo) find . . . FTF!
Amazed at the near 360 degree views from 'Fort Rock' and I guess I just never walked here in the past. At least, I have no memory of it! The wind was up a bit, but there was no rain and sunshine appeared on and off, gave me lovely views in many directions.
On the way, I'd noticed very recent footprints (my Passamaquoddy heritage kicking in, I guess) and wondered if someone else had trekked out here this morning and beat me to the find, but the walkers had turned off south towards Centennial Glen. So at 'Fort Rock' I had the place all to myself.
(By the way, no need to do anything dangerous to find this one. And the published coordinates seem very accurate.)
Then, after finishing my extended photo session and starting back, I heard voices and eventually met two ladies making there way to GZ, apparently not geocachers. So there is indeed some traffic to this panoramic spot during the week.
All was of course in good order with the cache, since it's brand new. I've used these 'things' myself and the way it's set up it should remain dry -- if replaced propertly.
Took the TB for placement at Leura. LNSL.
There are three routes in towards this one, and today's walk might well have been the best option -- track a bit wet and eroded but not too bad at all. Some care is needed on the various washed-out steps and rocks, but I've now learned my lesson the hard way at Mt. Victoria . . .
Many thanks to sqauci68! A fun adventure with excellent views!
(Will award a favourite point when I earn one.)

Sorry!
After my very damp FTF at nearby 'Scaredy Kat' I rolled up at the end of Helvetia Road, and only managed to coax Mrs. pjmpjm about 100 metres down the trail before the heavens really opened!
Took a wet photograph of the terrain ahead, but will have to leave 'Birthday' for tomorrow or the next day.
Might approach from the end of Kanimbla Street next time . . .
