Cache is gone - a couple of things have been left on the ground at the base of the stump.
TFTC. The container is missing- probably stolen. The items were left on the ground though.
TFTC. Lovely park. Took small baby sphere toy and left an orange outward bound wristband.
This would have been a magnificent specimen in its day. Cache found nice and easy. TFTC
What a beautiful old tree this would of been back in its day. Quick and easy find. Found with diamonjs. TFTC
It was my brother in law's 40th birthday and he had arranged to hire a BBQ boat to cruise up and down the waterways. After a morning of half-heartedly trying to fish I was now back on dry land. The park we were having lunch in was also on Kennedy Drive but at the other end. While another group of would-be fishermen had a go on the boat I went in search of this cache.
I had read the "soggy loggy" comment in the previous post and grabbed some supplies from the caching supply box in the boot of my car before crossing the road to the park. The log was certainly soggy so I put some more paper in a zip-lock bag as a temporary log.
It certainly was a nice day to be visiting the area. Thanks for the cache OurLinx. Cheers!
With this find I fill in my 360th day on the "caching calendar". Only 6 more to go over the next few months.
Find number 1963.... so here is something you didn't know (or maybe did know) about 1963...... On the 1st of January 1963 Osamu Tezuka's Tetsuwan Atomu (Astro Boy), Japan's first serialized animated series based on the popular manga, debuts on Japanese television station Fuji Television.

Found while out cruising around the area while we are house sitting at Fingal. Nice park. Soggy loggy ! TFTC
Found while out with Ashlee.18 and our muggle friend ash.
Had to park across the road and brave the traffic. Nice easy find.

Whilst visiting my Aunty for her birthday I thought I would drop buy and find a cache before heading back up to Brisbane. I went to another cache first but didn't search because of the mozzies... I was hoping this one would be better but nope... I have never seen so many mozzies in my life!! Take some bug spray to visit here as I think if you stood still for more than 30 seconds they would drain you dry! :/
A quick dash to GZ and thankfully cache was spotted straight away... I was literally bouncing about whilst signing it... sorry for the messy writing... replaced cache (didn't see a spider but there is a toad in there) covered and ran back to the car trying to displace as many mozzies as I could.... certainly will remember this cache though

On my way to reaching 500 caches so this was a nice quick one to get closer. This would certainly have seen a lot in its time. Thanks OurLinx
Should have parked where I thought the cache would be... BUT followed the GPSr... Never mind I got to have a short walk to the cache. What a great spot.. Found without any trouble signed and then replaced. On my way to the next one. BUT the GPS batteries were going flat..
Out for the day together with Petcare to sample some of the Tweed Delights!
Found this one too quickly as it was lying outside of its hide with the lid and contents spread around. After signing log we placed everything together and replaced where we think was it's original spot.

We have dropped off an OurLinx Pathtag which is yours to keep or trade after you log it online at www.pathtags.com

Visiting from Newcastle, staying at Kingscliff, checked on this one this morning and noticed that the CO had dropped off a PathTag so off I went, loved the hidey hole, retrieved the PathTag for my collection, TFTC OurLinx!!
While out for a day of caching while on holiday at Tweed this one was next on the list. A nice quick find as there was no one around. TFTC
Found with frozendusk11. Interestingly bumped into a couple also looking for it. It wasn't until the 'I've found it' that we realised that they were also looking. Great park
Met some fellow cachers from Sydney while searching. Nice to catch up and meet some new faces.
Cache found and log signed.
Thanks

This is an underutilised park, pity its not a dog leash free too. Lots of puddles from some recent rain. Interesting local museum open across the road too. Swapped tb's
TFTC. Out for the day with Jazzy woofa, Mumma, Sugarygoodness, and her geokid. Happy days!
Out with Snazzyjazzy12, mum & geotoddler for a walk and a couple of grabs. Took the croc TB and left my own TB. TFTC!
Today was the day for a major assault on Coolangatta/Tweed. trying for a new PB and hopefully puting smiles on the dials of each of them.
WOW!! What a sight, this was obviously one massive natural object previously.
I couldn't resist the endurance test, and passed, before I could get the cache.
Nice hide OurLinx TFTC SL

Our first cache on our last day of holidays. Nice shady park with only one muggle and dog. Easy find but had to be discreet. TFTC
Decided to go on a drive in an area South of the Gold Coast today, collecting mainly drive by type caches, with 3 of the kiddies on board. Grabbed quite a few finds for the day, and one DNF, but that happens. Good weather, good time driving around. We even grabbed three of those finds at night. Thanks to all cache owner for hiding and maintaining their caches. TFTC.

One of the night finds we made. Nice and quick with the torches and kids. They loved it. TFTC.

We were heading back home after a few hours on the beach whale watching at D'bah and made a slight detour to grab this cache. As we zeroed in on GZ we saw a likely spot. Mrs. Herbz circumnavigated the large object before Mr. Herbz arrived with the geomut and found the cache in the first nook he spied. TFTC.
Surviving the challenges of Kennedy Drive and there I was walking in the tracks of the pioneers. The GPS had a bit of trouble seeing through the vegetation but in the end it calmed down and that which is to be discovered was soon at hand. Lovely little park , great hiding place and no muggles or police boats to spoil the day Picked Up TB 7XK2FC TFTC OurLinx
On my way south and I think that I initially got this confused with another cache! Found very easily. I placed a few leaves and twigs to better hide the quite obvious container. Left TB and picked up a geocoin. Et was not to be seen today. Thanks OurLinzx

Found it. Saw the new cache last night, but the footy was on, and it's finals and all!
Anyway, decided to wait until morning. What a shame. Does second to find win any recognition!!
Dropped off ET

This was my first cache for some weeks. JooJoo57 and I ventured out to this park and found it quite easily and took a TB. Thank you OurLinx
What a beautiful night to cache. The full moon was fantastic!
We were having a quiet evening at home. A little cheese, a glass of wine, and a DVD. Then the email dinged. DVD was stopped, cheese put back in fridge and the wine tide in the glass assessed as to whether it was safe to drive.
Arriving on site as we searched we heard a motor boat in the river nearby, we joked it was the cream boat and it was a little late - by several decades. Just as we were signing the log, the 21st century came crashing back.... cops pulled up around about 25 metres from where we were squatting. Oops! We have no quibble with the police but wondered how to explain why we were wandering through the park with torches at night but fortunately they did not seem interested in us. We were prepared to be honest with what we were doing, as is the best policy, but to be sure we wandered past the cop car and said hello. It appears that they were setting up a speed trap.
Anyway, we were *ftf* at 8.50pm. On to the next challenge.
Thanks for the cache OurLinx and the excitement for the night.

Congratulations Petan for being FTF. I'm sorry we interrupted cheese and biscuits, although probably just as well the wine quaffing was interrupted seeing you encountered much excitement while retrieving this cache
