The emergency and purpose behind this placement is well and truly over. Thanks to all those who visited, performed maintenance and waited patiently for it to be replaced. Cheers Isis58
This one really didn't need a check because it was so simple that if it couldn't be found then it was bound to be missing. Checked this afternoon and sure enough.
Yes cache container broken and log wet - we left a new one (container and log) until owner can check

Day One: On holiday with tmann421 exploring the top of the South Island. Lots of geocaches found and adventures had in the collection of many a cache. Thanks to all the CO's for making this a thoroughly enjoyable trip.

#8651. Troodles found this one recently while streaking. We were passing to do, so stopped by so I could find the cache. A good viewpoint. TFTC.
Not far from the GZ, I drove past a cyclist struggling up the hill but he was still sufficiently far away (and slow) that I was able to find the cache, do the paperwork and return to the car before he came into view.
Nice views from here, and conveniently located for a short detour en route to work. Thanks for day #204 of my streak.

Went out and got this early on a Saturday morning while no one was around. Lovely view. TFTC
Saw that this one had been reactivated and so we dashed off for a very quick find. TFTC
This Emergency turned out to be a false alarm a few weeks back but, happily today, we saw the CO had re-stashed the cache meaning a quick trip to get a smiley was called for on the way back from the shops.
Thanks

We've driven passed the end of this road numerous times but never had the time or inclination to stop and grab this one. We quickly zero'd in on the GZ and had a good look over (and under) the most likely place.
Nothing doing. We didn't hang around too long as there were a good number of worker-muggles were heading home up the hill but given the time since the last find and the temporary(?) nature of the cache in the first place, we wonder if it has succumbed to a muggle.

We are staying a few days in Nelson, and naturally, logging some caches is a priority. Tftc!
Great view on a sunny nelson day. Mad retail therapy below but peaceful up here. Tftc
The view makes the grunt to GZ worth it [^] After retrieval of the cache it appeared that part had stayed behind but no permanent damage was detected. Log was signed then the container reassembled in its hiding place. TFTC
Just a short detour from the supermarket to find this cache. Great views from up here, an ideal cache to 'do' at night. Container was incomplete as others have mentioned but no problem once it's returned to it's hide. TFTC.
I REALLY wanted to go caching today but instead I came into town to do a few jobs. So this put a wee smilie on my dial. Thanks for the Stash. Nearly an emergency.
Sat and contemplated for a short time while enjoying the view.

No emergency, but just the right sized walk after dinner after a busy day for both the team. Work is the curse of the caching class - but then it does pay for it as well. The container was a puzzle when removed - until we realised not all was in our hands. Managed to replace it as intended. No longer streaking - but happy others are so we get another smiley.
Thanks.
Thanks.
A quick park, sit and sign after finding my traction lacking nearby. Nice sunny spot to sign the log today.
Thanks isis58 for the cache.

Hmm a couple of people still streaking I see. I wonder how many are still going. It was interesting being in Canada recently and reading logs of people still streaking there too. - - - The whole idea seemed to really catch on. I was in the vincenity getting a new windscreen for the cachemobile today so it was a good time for a quick dash up the hill. TFTC
On the way to Nelson with hopes of another dot-day, beating PB, busting past 1400
Easy find, shame about graffiti

Found on way to town to catch up with sister and niece's before they head away

It wasn't an emergency, just a very wet day on the way to work that needed a bit of sunshine added to it, so why not a cache find? Made sure the neighbours weren't looking and made a very quick find then retreated back to car to sign log. Thanks for adding a bit of sunshine to this gloomy day.
Not streaking at the moment so not an emergency for me, just a quick find on a short detour while on a shopping trip to town. TFTC, Biggles.
Hmmm, 7pm with daylight savings a lot people out and about.
Nicely timed to keep the streaking going.

Congratulations Unichel on your first FTF. Had already been found by the time I noticed it at lunch time so left to do after work with the help of my nephew. Quick find. Thanks for helping us keep the streak going
