Well after a whirl wind tour of Tasmania to help with 3 challenges that Im working on, I got back in late Tuesday night then packed the Geowagon and headed off to SA early Wednesday morning to attend the Leap Year Mega and to also tick off some LGAs along the way as well.Well after crossing the border the other day and staying in Millicent, Wellington, Cape Jervis, Kingscote and Im now in Adelaide for a week.Well it is the start of Mega week for me and lets see how I go.I met up with Roaming Howie for the day again (he must be a sucker for punishment) and the main target for the day is LGAs for me and anything else on his list.Just touring the suburbs as we go.We found somewhere to park the GeoRanger and off we went in search of this one.We had to wait out some muggles and then we quickly swooped in for this one.We added our names to the log and now to get to the next one and the next one and the next one. Thanks FamilyFuninthesun TFTC.
There was one dog being exercised in the fenced off area as I walked past. Quickly spotted the hide as a cacher at home has a series with similar hides. As I was signing the log I hear a voice saying "can I sign it too?" and there was OzGuff - whom I recognised from photos on logs when looking at what was available in this area. So, we had a great wee chat and he was able to tell me that my next target cache was missing which was really helpful. TFTC FamilyFuninthesun and kia ora from Aotearoa/New Zealand # 20,933**tepoti/Dunedin is the place be for the Geo Toroa Mega - October 26-27, 2024! Please come and experience some wonderful Southern hospitality.**
After a really great 10 K, hike around the Morialta area, Im slowly working my way back home through the suburbs. As I approached the presumed location of the geocache, I was a little surprised to see someone already there, and they were signing the log. Its always great to bump into other geocachers out in the field. And IsisNZ and I had a great little chat.TFTC.
We're confused for like an hour that thus, was a water pype of sone sort haha

After an event fairly close to this area I decided to look for a cache before heading home. Wandered along the path to find an empty GZ. A quick find. TFTC the whole team!
This morning the plan had been to kayak but the weather forecast for today didn’t look great so another adventure was planned.
This involved wellingtons, UV torch, torch and bringing a change of clothes (not required)
Fun day of caching only 11 for the day including 2 treks through drains and a celebration event.
I started off at this one as it had a lot of fab points and was near the starting drain. Quick find due to accurate coords. Nice hide TFTC
