A quick find on our way out of St Arnaud doing a circuit on backroads in the area. Well this spot is certainly cute, thanks for bringing us here
Nice quick cache on a wet and cold winters day. I love this cute gnome home. I didnt knock to see if anyone was home.
TFTC TNLNEasy drive by cache. Love these quirky trees seemingly in the middle of nowhere.
Wow that took some finding, note to self, look in the most obvious spot first tftc
WOW!! That is fantastic! I will have to bring the young monsters back to show them!! After a little search, the cache was found in the most obvious of spots!! TFTC!!
I was heading up to Dimboola for a CITO today and did not realise it had been cancelled Friday evening until I was checking what time it was planning on starting. It was cancelled due to the heat and the total fire ban as well.It was going to be hot picking up rubbish so it was for the best.I was in Stawell at the time and as I was in no hurry to get there now I decided to do a couple around there first before heading to Dimboola to do the newish trads up there and any others on this side of the road.Arrived at Dimboola and then opened the Geocruisers door and the heat hit me.I have found what I needed to do in Dimboola and now its time to start heading back east and find somewhere to stay for the night. After finding out that all of the accomodation is booked out between Stawell and Ballarat for the night so I checked the map and picked Avoca to stay the night and take a different way home.I saw this one on the map and had to stop by and take a few pics of this great little area.Cache was soon located without disturbing anyone.A fav goes out to you for pointing this area out. Thanks whits wanderers TFTC.
On a caching trip with Sol de Lune today. What a cute decorated tree with many residents. I wonder what inspired the person to start decorating this tree.A really nice spot to place a cache. The hint and size may need some updating Thanks for the cache here
A run up the highway with Nelzarama, with our main goal being a series of cache just north of Stuart Mill. From there it was back to Moonambel and a few caches in the area...this being one....and what a cute little set up. Lots to take in, which we did and then soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache whit's wanderers...
Travelling from Halls Gap to Colac, I spotted this little posse of creatures and had to stop to check it out, and to find the cache. Nice park and grab cache here.
A funny spot to come across out here! On our way though to Redbank, after a pie and charging the EV in Horsham. TFTC!
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to whit's wanderers for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

This took a few minuts to spot. Last cache of the day before heading for the Australasian Rogaine Champs being held nearby. TFTC.

We are heading back from Swan Hill after doing the fireworks for the show there and with no real commitments today we decided to take a more scenic way home and grab a few caches.
We were doing a bit of a loop around the Central Goldfields picking up adventure labs and anything else that popped up on screen. We spotted this as next on the list and had a feeling that we knew what to expect. Once we got near gz we realised how wrong we were and were quite taken by what we found.
Happily there was plenty of parking so we didn't have to be in a rush . We took a couple of quick laps around the main object to see what we could see and then spotted the obvious and not long after that we were adding our name to the log.
Many thanks whit's wanderers for showing us this fun location and for a nice hide, a favourite point from us.

Gnome sweet gnome... we are making Green Lake our home sweet home for our camping trip this long weekend.
Interesting to see a gathering of the gnomes around a scar tree...
The meerkat has the right idea to look around rather than trust the hint and the muggle boy with me found the cache very quickly.
Thanks for a meeting of the gnomes.

I was spending the long long weekend camping out in Ararat at Green Hill Lake and so we managed to venture out from time to time to do a spot of caching.
Ignore the hint here. The boys made a nice quick find in an obvious spot.
Thanks whit's wanderers for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

**Found en route to Horsham for a couple of nights**
Enjoyed a trip around back roads letting my GPS be my guide. Getting off the main highways as it was a long weekend in Melbourne. I enjoy taking the back roads - you see more.
The thing I love about caching is the interesting history, the extra interest and attention you take when traveling, the sight-seeing, the stories, the interests of the individual CO’s, *the fantastic photo opportunities* and sometimes finding places that even some locals don’t know about. I, like most cachers, look for more that a mint tin or a container under a bush. I appreciate the time that most CO’s take to construct a cache and write up a comprehensive listing and to create an interesting cache. **I love traveling this big land of ours.** I love taking the roads less traveled. I love the diversity of the land, the different scenes in the different seasons, the fresh air, the open plains, the lofty vistas and the magnificent waters. I even enjoy the longer scenic walks although I'm not as young and as fit as I used to be. I love the different coffee shops I find. I enjoy the times I cache with others but I usually cache on my own.
Thank you whit's wanderers for highlighting this area and for adding this cache to my real-life treasure hunt. Appreciate your efforts.
Good coordinates but it took me a couple of laps before spotting the obvious. Cache and contents on good condition.

*Took*: Nothing

**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.
Cache on!

Cool cache!! Woke the corellas nesting in the tree oops, this one would've been better to visit during the day. Well worth a favourite. Tftc
Chook went on a drive today in search of more locations for new lab caches to come, and finally had the chance to stop by this cache. As others have mentioned, the hint and the cache size are now different from when first placed, but the comment about not needing to disturb any residents is still certainly relevant. A lovely roadside stop and Chook added her letter to the fairies, amongst the many other notes from cachers and non cachers who drop in to visit. TFTC whit's wanderers.
This is a really cool tree.
Love it when people do something fun like this in the middle of nowhere.
Lots of different things to see.
Cache is fantastic.
Thanks for the hide.

Found with LittleBoss2 on a beautiful day around Halls Gap. We walked and sometimes bush bashed to a lot of caches today on our way from Bendigo to here. So many amazing views today, making us feel so grateful to live in Victoria.
Our thanks to whit's wanderers for placing this one. Great to see that so many people have added to the fun

Heading off to Halls Gap for a couple of days with Bogonghazy. Loved this spot. Brought back childhood memories. Thanks for placing the Geocache
Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks whit's wanderers (F=932 H=57) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

Me and my family enjoyed looking for this loved looking at all the toys that the fairies had placed
Suscoe headed north west from St Arnaud early this morning on a circular journey that would take us out past Donald and then to the south of Donald visiting caches as we went.
It was a cool but pleasant enough Winter's day.
By the time we got home late this afternoon we had covered 455 kms and we had visited a number of multi caches as well as a good number of traditionals.
We also saw some wonderful sights and amazing countryside.
Thanks to whit's wanderers for this placement.
This was a pleasant place to end our two days of caching for this trip.
Thanks for this stop off and we enjoyed the look at the various friends living here.
Time to hit the road towards home now.

The first day of our trip around Victoria and we started in Avoca as we needed to pick our spare mattress up for A’Tuin, our Geomobile, and home on wheels. As we made our way to Hall's Gap, we wanted to pick some caches up on the way. The road was very quiet, and we pulled up at a safe parking spot around 50 meters before GZ for this cache. We wondered if it would be an easy spot to find, then we came across this amazing sight as we rounded the curve. We quickly found the cache, which was in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache whit's wanderers.

Our last stop on the way back to camp after a great day on the Pyrenees Range. Delightful little set up, signed in after interviewing a few residents.
Our thanks to whit's wanderers for placing such a fun cache on the gameboard.

Out with Bushfire today for a full day of caching. Following the usual roundabout route in a northerly direction towards St Arnaud via caches that needed to be found. My tally for the day finished with 16 plus 2 Adventure Labs and finished the day with the dinner event. What a delightful place. I loved all the decorations and it just took me back to childhood dreams of magical places. A favourite point for this TFTC whit's wanderers
Left Geelong Thursday morning and cached my way up to Avoca, set up the van in the Caravan Park and glad I changed from the free camp area as the nights were very cold and ice on the screen most mornings.
With 104 caches to log I will have to cut and paste most so thanks to all the folk who placed these caches out there for us to find because without your effort we would not have any to find.
Another day and a new area to hunt for a few more Geocaches with my good friend au.fait, and we called into this guy. I have seen a number of these roadside collections over the years but this is a little special. F.P. added and thanks for placing.

Out with family and friends, and it is a fantastic place to make the kids smile.
After visiting my muggle friend Sue in Barkly, it was time for me and my daughter SowaMLE to head home. On the way we stopped at a few caches to continue our adventures together.
I think we stamped the wrong logbook here even though it was marked as such. It wasn’t until I got home and started to write my logs that I was reading through the previous finders and checked my photos that I realised the container and logbook I found were perhaps dropped there as there are quite a few books in the container containing letters to fairies and some geocaching stamps and signatures. Feeling quite silly for not looking at the container more closely.
So I’m logging a DNF as I don’t think I found the actual cache. I’ll have to return here when the COVID-19 lockdown has been lifted to look for it again.
Thank you for bringing us here whit’s wanderers

Isn't it odd what you find sometimes on geocache guided tour ??
Like this overflowing with cuteness spot
With thankfully little traffic passing by to add to me embarassment of actually being here,
I dutifully poked around for any sign of the cache container.
Not a mint tin to be found
There are 'logbooks' of a sort to sign nearby,
but they are provided by the guardian of the site,
to record how many people visited their 'gnomedom'
So DNF for me today.

An unusual cache find on way home from attending Highland gathering at Maryborough. First find for 2020 TFTC

Welfare check on our little friends at this cache. Geo10 makes me stop here every time we come past. Today we added a little teddy of our own, which was retrieved earlier in the day from teddys bear picnic at st Arnaud. Geo10 thought this little guy needed to meet some new friends....
We are staying in Maryborough with Lady membsec’s Mum for a few days and decided to head to the St Arnaud area to gather as many solved puzzles and challenge caches in one day before the weather set in. Today was perfect weather and we found all different types of hides, some simple, some a little different, some high, some low, some in prickly bushes, some surrounded by water but nothing deterred us as we found all the caches we went searching for.
We started with an FTF and this one was on the way to that cache. What a lovely idea, we like gnomes. Pretty quick find.

After 2 DNF's this was a great find! A great place for a cache and while the hint meant nothing it was not hard to find.
How cute. I notice that the cache has been changed. The clue said something quite different. Tftc
Nice quick stop, photo, find (for S), and even a play of the rusty music box that D said was too rusty and wouldnt work. TFTC
We’re on our way home after spending the weekend at Halls Gap. Since we don’t travel this road too often we just had to grab the caches along here as we passed.
I’m not 100% sure what we signed was the correct log since it wasn’t labeled in the usual manner, wasn’t a mint tin & didn’t seem to fit the hint too well but we’re not the first cachet’s to sign it so...
Thanks

Managed a nice quick find while passing by this afternoon. Had no trouble locating the right area to search after initially doing a quick lap of the gz. Very nicely done whit's wanderers, certainly a hit with anybody, including us big kids. Thanks for the hide and also watch out for the drop bears!
Forgot to log this when out caching with Astrocat- wondered why it was so familiar on the return
Found by the 2greywombats, long way from home for us. Took nothing and left some fairy presents tftc
What a spectacular cache, this was so cute and enjoyable to find.. definitely my favourite cache yet!! Thank you so much for putting so much effort into this brilliant cache!
Thought we’d stop on our way home from a weekend away from home. Big surprise to find the cache guardian asleep on the job. Tftc
Found with Beaker while visiting the Pyrenees for the Easter long weekend. Thanks
