The three of us looked for 30-40 minutes and could not locate it. it must be hidden well
Nice hide here. Log book is getting damaged as it was damp at some point. Nice cammo . Tftc
A very clever cache and a nice way to get the final souvenir in the hidden creatures challenge.
Thanks
Thanks
Tftc. Nice hide; took some time and some walking around and near the GZ to notice the _thing_. Favo for creative camo.
Why did I not follow my instincts and investigate what I thought was out of place. Circled round and round then decided to touch it. Thank you for the sneaky hide. Log signed and replaced again. Found at 5.20pm on 30.9.2017. TFTC.
Gold Coast Day 5
Today we headed toward Carrara to visit the markets stopping ata number of caches along the way.
A good variety of hides & caches found.
We originally had a DNF on this one but after finding Emerald Lakes View, we returned to make the find as we had spotted something just not right but did not investigate it any further.
Thanks for placing this cache Nottinghamers

Loved it so a favourite point from us. Tried for the first one but too many people around it so moved on. Time was of the essence so used the hint and a satellite image as our Gps was about 10 m out. Found fairly quickly but the cache hide was so clever and well deserved a fav. Can't wait to try for the other one. Tftc
I was worried that there may be a game in progress today but i came late enough that i had no problems parking close to the marked coordinates.
I am glad that i have now found a few of this cache owners hides because I doubt I would have found this otherwise. I found nothing initially so i checked the hint. This reminded me of some other clever hides so thats the kind of thing i looked for. By far and aeay this one is the best of this type i have found so far. It looks so real and convincing and snug fitting that even when i had my hands on it nothing moved at first... when it did for a second i thought i had done some damage but with relief i saw what i expected.
Thoroughly enjoyed this one, another FP coming your way.
Thanks for the extra effort when you placed this hide. More fun for me and fellow hunters

A bit scrappy around GZ wth loads of possible hiding places. Couldn't see anything that really matched the hint... so after about 5 minutes with no luck decided to move-on into the wetlands for the Emerald trail.
Heading to airport to drop 3LG off decided to check out a few caches
As our grandson plays footy here we decided to hunt up the caches here while no one about
It appears a school of young footy players were being skilled in the game while we were here today
The placement of this cache away from the oval made for a muggle free zone
GPS did not like the area but Linda from 3LG decided to stand back and think about the clue and came up with the clever and very sneaky hide

After a DNF on another cache we decided this would not be the same. A very sneaky cache eventually spotted by Linda from 3LG. Caching with them and The X-Trailers. A favourite point today. TFTC
Another very clever hide! Thanks for all the work you do in hiding these amazing caches
Mr Gap and I did quite a few circles in this area, then something a bit out of the ordinary was spotted. Another very clever hide. TFTC
Ms Wig and I did quite a few circles in this area, then something a bit out of the ordinary was spotted. Again, very clever hide. This was also find #4444.
Thanks Nottinghamers, FP from me.
Thanks Nottinghamers, FP from me.
Thanks to Moosetash for the note. I have replaced the container, due to the deterioration of the previous one. Happy caching!
Enjoying a pleasant afternoon caching today with Moosetash grabbing a few clever hides along the way, we managed a quick find after ditching the car and grabbing a couple of finds in the park. Thanks the Nottinghamers for the well constructed hide.
A nice hide here, although the camo might need some tlc. Thanks for the hide, #6600
Tftc another clever Nottinghamers hide. Second find for today without little miss Geobaby who has been playing at daycare
Smilie #3217
Headed south to pick up a few caches around Hinze Dam & Nerang.
This was #17 of 20 for today.
Ah, the genius of a cacher's mind! LOL ...
Very nicely crafted & placed!
On approach I was reminded of some previous Nottinghamer caches we had found & armed with this knowledge it was a quick find for us today.
Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky!
A look inside your head would be most 'interesting' for sure! LOL ...
Signed & replaced as found.
All good here.

Out for an afternoon of caching in the area with our target in mind and came across some great caches. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find. Tftc
Well I can see that it is going to be a challenging day for us with a few Nottinghamer caches to find ... but we persevere! Many thanks for your creative hides.
Another fabulous hide, I think I made the remark that I am coming to the coast and going to make a day of just doing you caches I love them that much. TFTC from NSW
I headed out for some early morning caching before my conference activities were due to start - not too far from here. Another good one. This one had me wondering for a bit before I spotted a feature of interest. Managed to access the log OK. Nicely constructed cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Once again! A very clever hide!

Didn't take long to fin but we really enjoyed the cache and it's tricky little hide. TFTC
Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA
The Mega had come to a close and the fun had finished so we were back on the Gold Coast. Our energy was low so we decided we'd have a cruisy day of caching around the area.
By now RW and I had an idea what we might be looking for as we've found several of the CO's hides on our geomissions around the area. We looked around and around a few times before RW came up with the sneaky hide here
Thanks for another one, Nottinghamers

Back on the Gold Coast today to continue caching. The holiday is starting to wind down in preperation for the long drive back to Canberra. 2nd last day on the Gold Coast so it was out and back caching. Today was a good day with about 40 finds today.
Today we found alot of caches from Nottinghamers who I must admit have some very creative hides We had a wonderful day out and about collecting caches and placing our stamp in the log books.
Thanks Nottinghamers for placing this cache for us to make a find on

Pprime and I wandered up to this cache next. Probably would have been quicker if we had taken the car - but you get that
We wandered into GZ. I checked a few items - as did Prime. Nothing. Then we both spotted something. We inspected our GZ a little closer. Oh wow. What a darnly good cache. We figured out how to extract the log and signed it - and then re-hid it as found.
I don't think I've seen a cache quite like this one - and it was very well crafted and impressed us both. It was also placed in a muggle-free and quiet area.
I have not visited the Gold Coast in a long time - and have missed Nottinghamers' caches. Well done. And it was great to see you both again at the Event today

On the run down to a milestone and Sir Fangsoki says "Nottinghammers" ... I think he said other stuff too, but that was all I needed to be guided to this spot as a sidetrip. Have had the pleasure a few times before, but not it seems recently. SO, OK then, we found the right GZ, nicely away from muggles in white - and around we started wandering in random shapes like circles. Poke this, prod that, pick up this other thing. Hmmm ... WHAT IS THAT ? Bit tight on the lid with the wet weather, but wow that is awesome. Never a disappointment are you? I have never seen a cache like this before, but I will confess to have had thoughts along similar lines (I am just not clever enough to create). I can imagine spending a lot of time searching for this if the right glint of the eye on oddness doesn't transpire. A favourite indeed.
Thanks for placing this cache, Nottinghamers. Found in good condition.

Out caching on a hot day with JawsPaws from UK. Quick find after some bush bashing admiring some colorful spiders! :/
Log still wet but container dry!

Visiting from Uk. Have been travelling round Oz for a couple of weeks. Currently staying on Gold Coast with fellow cacher Robgold picking up a few caches. Decided on the wetland today. I think a nest of ants has taken up residence in the cache -YUK.. signed and replaced minus ants. TFTC
After Bowl em over I thought we were sure to be out with this one. I just hate all those bushy caches, the ones you have to fight tooth and tick to get through. So I tossed mr RV geos in there to get this one. From experience he always has much more confidence with the GPS than I do. So Havana and I tried to look interested in all the scraggy tall and short clumps that were around. In the end we decided that the Bowlem caches were for the fairy's and sat on the grass while mr RV Geos wandered. At long last he said he had no idea as he could not get a fix on where the right location was. I passed him Havana and hit the middle of the 26 metre area the GPS was indicating was the correct location. After not finding bowl em over, I was ready for a smile on my dial. Within a couple of seconds I had found it. I do believe the dragons knew I was less than happy and they lifted their silk screen to clearly show me where the treasure was to be held. Mr Geo found the Key first so I knew the secret was close by.
Thanks for the cache, excellent

cache find # 1668. We had just the right tool to ease the stopper out. Signed the log with forbiddenground. TFTC.
Well done! What a great cache, GT54 managed to get the stopped out so log signed tftc
The stopper is in very tight, so I've taken a spoiler photo of myself with the cache as proof, available on request to this creative CO. TFTC.
Lucky my man is onto these nottinghamers lol he had it picked in the dark b4 even venturing in:) awesome creativity with these caches!! TFTC
The park was busy today but the wickets looked a lot further apart than I'm used to and there seemed to be a shrunken rugby ball floating about. Thankfully GZ was well removed from the crowds.
Another nice hide.

Loving that these are all IPS but oh so cleverly disguised! Another favourite. You should hold classes for clever hides for other geocachers!

Oh My! This was Yet another example of Nottinghamers Brilliance! I walked straight to it. First place I looked. I looked all over it andthen went to the next and the next and the next and so on for half an hour. There were 5 of us looking today as our friends daughter was with us for the day. We had stopped here to stretch our legs and grab a smiley. It looked like we were going to have to leave because we had turned every rock and caressed every tree, vine and shrub in a 10m plus radius. As I gathered the kids and started to head out of the area Hubby called out that he had found it. WHAT! where? We walked over and still couldn't see it! We were getting hot by now and a few mozzies were zeroing in on us so I told him to just show us! He did and our jaws dropped. I clapped to show my appreciation to Sir Nottinghamer! WOW. THIS is a hide, THIS is awesome and HOW you think of these hides is just beyond my level of imagination, but keep it up. A favourite point from us!
I know this statement doesn't make sense, but I found it and then it took a while to find it,you know what I mean, don't you.Another favorite point,powww.TFTC.
After passing by what appeared to be an abandoned ute nearby, I was soon at a likely spot. This is an excellently crafted hide and looks extremely realistic. Thanks for this well made cache.
Another classic Nottinghamers cache. Quality workmanship at its best here. An easy find today whilst on my way to another cache nearby. Some cricketers were practicing in the distance but nothing for me to be concerned about. TFTC. SL.
I had to use the hint to find this one. Thanks for the cache, it's dry and in good condition. I really enjoy Nottinghamers caches
I was heading back from Mudgeeraba to Southport and the GPS suggested this road..... so it would be just plain rude not to grab this cache on the way past.
I was trying to track this one down without the hint so it took a bit of searching. Some call it the "drunken bee dance" where you go around and around in searching different locations like a drunken bee. After a while I spotted the likely object and soon the log was in hand.
Thanks for the cache Nottinghammers. Great camo once again.
Find number 1814.... so here is something you didn't know (or maybe did know) about 1814...... According to Google..... "1814" are a 7-piece New Zealand reggae band whose members live in the hill’s around the beautiful Whangaroa Harbour and near by town of Kerikeri, Northland. The name 1814 was taken from the year the Gospel arrived at Oihi, in the Bay Of Islands. Missionary Samuel Marsden, held the first sermon there on Christmas Day, 1814. This is the inspiration behind delivering a message of peace, love and unity to all people through out the land.

I had a few hours to kill while waiting for the family to wake up, so I decided to explore part of Carrara for the first time and discover some caches along the way. This was number 5. I have to admit, this one had me bowled over for while. I kept focusing on the hint which helped me find it in the end. It took me a while to extract the log too, even with my Swiss army tool. Tftc The Nottinghamers
Yes we needed the hint! We would have been stumbling around the bush cursing for ages without it. A wonderfully well made hide, thanks for a favourite Nottinghamers.
Got to love the late shift at work.
So you can go caching before work.
Very quiet here this morning.
And this makes 2 of your caches in one day.
Very similar hide to the other...maybe that is why I found it.
Thanks for the cache.

I was a bit worried about this one when I saw the name. All good though, out of sight of the cricket game. Not the first time today that I am glad I am usually a well prepared cacher. The trusty Swiss army can be msot helpful in many situations
Well another well constructed Snottyspammers' hide. Must admit it took me a while. iPhone only. Batteries in Garmin were flat and spares were duds. Never mind, I know what this C O is up to.
The Gpsr took a little while to adjust so we were looking in the wrong spot at first, but then it readjusted & we were able to spot the cache. It's good to be doing your caches again. We love your creativity.... Thanks for the cache Nottinghamers
Another sneakt Nottinghamers hide, this one took a little longer but we found it ok. TFTC Nottinghamers.
Easy find but then discovered I needed am extraction tool. Back to the car to find something, fortunately some bits in the car allied me to extract the vile wroth no problems

A quick drive around some local caches this afternoon. Another Nottinghamers' invention. Thank you.
I left home a bit earlier this morning to grab a few on the way to work. With some time still to spare I B-lined it to this one. A completely empty car park this morning which was nice. At first I thought I might have to come back with all the possible hides but then I spotted something. Yep sure enough I had found it.
I do enjoy finding a cache made by nottinghamers cache.
Signed the new log sheet and replaced.

Woo hoo a Nottinghamer cache published. As soon as I saw it then it was a matter of calling geohubby, putting on some shoes and grabbing a jacket to wear over my jammies. No time to get dressed again. . Drove down as quickly as we could and in our haste parked over a hundred metres away. - I know, I know, that doesn't make sense but that's what happened. Scurried along towards GZ, and again in haste, approached a spot slightly off co-ords. Corrected ourselves and made a quick find.. We were pretty sure we'd been beaten to the hide as we'd seen a car on the side of the road just close by which had driven away on our approach. But, yay!! We were FTF at 9:35pm. So great to see a blank log page. Thanks again Nottinghamers for your ingenuity and for our evening excitement. We are happy to award this cache it's first favourite point. [^][^]
I saw this one a little while after it had been published so I was running against time but at least AL seemed to be out of the area at least for the last couple of days so I just had to give it a go.
The highway was so clear I was sure I could get here quickly UNTIL........ I rounded a bend and it was complete stand still they were cutting down from 3 to 2 lanes then down to 1.
We just crawled along for 3 kilometres or so it seemed and the minutes ticked by.
Finally I was thru the road work and I put my foot down (within speed limits of course) and the rest was a clear run.
I parked with 70 metres of GZ and set off to get my FTF or so I thought or hoped.
GZ was found quickly and the hide even though sneaky was also quickly found.
But on opening the log I found to my dismay that AL WAS BACK IN TOWN!!!! Well done AL
So I claimed an STF and replaced the cache carefully.
I wonder how close I would have been if not for the road works. Oh well can't cry over found caches FTF or not.
Thanks Nottinghamers TFTC SL
