### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there BorisB&Natasha,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Debunked!!! We had some difficulties as the cache was very wet, but this was a nice easy puzzle.

Easily spotted the 2 parts to this one on approach, with only 2/4 clues as only having under taken half the trail we though we would have a look and see what was entailed with this one.... With a little playing around we easily where able to work out the remaining clues need and retrieve the key to access the log. Love the creative design for the keeper of the key and also the way the log was restricted from being accessed without having the key. TFTC
Awesome design, but needs a bit of TLC -- the outer container has rusted away, and the log is not signable... But still fun -- thank you for the great effort!
Nice puzzle final but both containers need maintenance. We emptied out the water but the main container (amo box) is about to disintegrate.
We did it! After 2 trips nearly a year apart shes complete. Thanks so much for this awesome series.
Out for a walk this morning enjoying the nice weather, little chilly but perfect for walking. Out to complete the whole trail, thanks for placing all these caches!
A field puzzle? How awesome, completed the series and found 3/4 of the clues and that was enough to solve it. Awesome concept and an awesome series. Thanks for placing this for our enjoyment, another fav point from me

Out to help mum aka Xambo4u with a few she had missed out when doing the rail trail. What an awesome hide and great construction on a lovely walk.

Out and about with geo son pimpmyballoons. Having walked the trail through the day I had picked up the necessary info. Got to GZ. Container is rusting now but excellent work and a great reason to take the walk. Disappointed that fellow caches have spoiled the final answering ? Lets appreciate the work of others guys. Thanks for all your work in geocaching BorisB&Natasha

Enjoying a couple days off from work as they continue to do works on my office I thought to myself why not go and finish the Redhill railtrail series as it had been a rather long time since I started it..... several years now at this point.
What a trip down memory lane this series is, having grown up exploring the red hill area as a kid I had a great time reveling in the nostalgia.
This gap in time caused an issue with me as I had lost all the clues I needed, either way after checking the logs it seemed like due to a previous attempt not being able to budge it open I thought to myself maybe they left it be without jumbling it up.
Lucky for me that was indeed the case, and with a little bit of elbow grease the cache was open and the log was signed. Thanks for the cache and the adventure.

Found everything but I think the container with the key was jammed shut.!I had the code but could not get it to open. So have not signed log but may be back soon to try again
Now that was cool! Decimate favourite point for this one. We had enough of the clues to be able to crack the first of the steps to signing the log. All great fun We are back on the trail. After enjoying doing half of the trail from the Red Hill end yesterday we have returned to complete the series from the Merick end. A sneaky hide here. Really well constructed. TFTC
Started this series and took a few days to complete the whole thing. Really enjoyed searching for some really clever caches and must say none of them were disappointing at all, such great ideas. Collected all the clues and found The Pines and was able to unlock the cache. Thanks to all the CO’s for placing and maintaining this series

We didn't get all the clues.
So back we go. Missing one, we managed to work it out.
Such a well constructed cache!
Despite the ammo tin being full of water, logbook was still fine.

#3995 We are down from NE Vic for the long weekend for a bit of caching fun on the Peninsula. Today we targeted the Red Hill series which has been on our wish list for a long time. We started from the Merricks end at 9:45am and finished up in Red Hill for lunch. A bewt walk on a bewt day completing a bewt GC series . A few muggles enjoying the trail today but it didn't interfere too much with completing the well hidden caches.
With all the clues gathered. Mrs BGF made her way back on the bike we had dropped off at the end of the trail earlier in the day to return to the geocar. En-route she stopped to make this find and after a bit of tinker of the cache it finally released itself! Success! What a great day out, thanks for all the effort to construct and maintain this trail of creative hides. A memorable caching experience that will remain with us for many years to come. Took the TB and left a FP .

Great cache... love the trail. An easy find with 3 of the clues but had a little trouble opening the first part... using the wrong technique! Love this one... definitely a favourite. TFTC!
Found the first part and used the clues - now what do I do with this? Couldn't see anything else and were contemplating having to leave it without completing the cache. Sat down and there it was all the time. Gets a favorite!
Found at 12:22 PM GAFF1.
A very nice little set up using the rail series. Was able to crack the code with just 2 numbers and then was able to access the log book.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha - deserves an FP.

Trekking along the red hill rail trail for the first time with a local mazzystar. Managed to be approaching from the right angle and spotted GZ. TFTC
Thank you so much!

What a great morning walk along this trail on a glorious sunny Easter Saturday. After getting all the clues for this cache we headed back to where we started our morning walk, finding this cache on the way. Pretty tired by this time and decided we will return another time to start from the Red Hill end and finish the trail. Enjoyed finding this cache and unlocking our way to signing the log. Ok then, another fav point for the fun we had here and the morning out. Time for a nice lunch at Johnny Ripe! TFTC
After a very hot day yesterday, today promised to be a bit cooler so we decided to head out on the Red Hill power trail. We parked at Red Hill and set off with a packed lunch and lots of water which was a good thing as the return trip took 4 hours.
The caches are all great and a lot of thought and effort has gone in the the creation of this cache trail.
Thanks for the placement and maintenance of theses caches.
FP from us for this one

THe trip back to here, after lunch, was far quicker than the trip up. Even with only three of the needed clues we were determined to give it a crack. Fortunately a brute force attack, in the hacker sense of the term, was successful and we were able to make our mark in the log book.
Our thanks to the original owner for the idea(s) for the series and for the adopter(s) in deciding this series was worth keeping.

Have had this series on my to do list for awhile now and finally this week I had the chance to tackle it.
Perfect weather and great caching companions made this a very enjoyable day, and the quality of hides was awesome.
Cheers for the cache and series. Favorite point for sure.

Oh my goodness...we managed GZ with only 2 numbers.
Without any force we managed the field puzzle... and then the fun began.
It helped to read some prior logs and trash... bingo.
TFTC we are enjoying all these caches sooooo much.

We picked this cache up at 7:31pm. Having managed to not find one of the caches without assitance from the CO and having miss one of the clues, we were a little late coming back to collect this one, this time on foot. This was slightly less intuative than we were expecting, but a nice cache none the less.
SirJ-Oz and I have had this series of caches on 'the list' for a very long time, but due to a variety of things ranging from my hip to just being generally lazy, we haven't managed to come and collect them, until today. I was a little late, but we eventually got going and had a very pleasant day collecting this series and a number of other caches in the area.
Thanks for taking over and managing the cache and the series BorisB&Natasha.

The plan for today was to knock off the Red Hill Trail caches by bike, and grab some others along the way.
We'd completed all the other trail caches, but neglected to stop here on the way through. A return trip was in order with a repeat of the up-hill slog, but this time without bikes. We found the first part of what we had to do, and gained access, but the second part eluded us. A message to the CO gave us a nudge and we soon had our names in the log.
Yet another favourite point awarded to add to your collection.
Took nothing, left pathtag, signed log and visited some trackables.

Today i decided to do the Red Hill Express trail on bike.
I usually like to do these sorts of trails on Fridays when more people are at work but no luck this weekend.
A cold and windy day had me freezing the whole time.
This is awesome. I didn't anticipate the second part of it. Collected the clues, found the field puzzle. I've seen videos of these but this is the first time finding one. Got it open no problem, now what is this for? Had a look around to see something poking out from the pine needles. AHA!
Thanks for the series and the awesome finale!
Gets a fave point.
Thanks for the cache

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Another day that both my wife and myself had off, so we decided to hit this series for the second time. Once again we under estimated the required time and skipped the last 6 caches to get to Red Hill for food. Unfortunately and disappointedly all the shops are closed at lunch on Tuesdays.
On the first visit here we only found 1 clue. However today, I couldn't access my online notes to discover what it was. After finding most of the caches we only found 1 more clue. Heading back to the car, we stopped and rechecked a cache and found another clue.
Got to the cache and with 2 known clues, we were able to determine the other 2 clues after a short period. However after opening it, we then took more time trying to find the actual cache container. Finally fpund the second container and the log was ours. Signed the log file for our last cache of day.
Certainly a favourite point for this cache and the whole series. 15th finds for today, 1 DNF and 6 more to find.
Thanks for the cache Shogun- and Bend Sinister.

As the rest of the crew hunted off, I didn't get the chance to tell them what they had to do & what the numbers were. So they just all stood there looking at it. With the 2 older boys throwing out theories ...... I think informed them what the had to do. Which seemed easy enough but they could get it to work. Dad said .... give it to me .... no the boys tried another 3 times, until they sheepishly handed it over to dad. Yes .... dad opened it again with them all looking at me .... and now what do we do? I said, I'm really not sure. Somehow the little fella who sitting down was able to find the next stage of this fantastic puzzle. A cache with 90 favs ..... seems so simple and well thought out, I'm surprised I haven't come across this before but so happy it was here because this is the cache I thought about along our walk. Well done on a great hide & also great coverage. Make it 91 fav points.
Didn’t really have enough clues for this one but we tried it anyway and solved the field puzzle quiet quickly. Next what to do? Geo kids had a think for a bit and came up with something. Yay. Solved. TFTC. A favourite from us.
With only 3 clues found, we weren't sure how we were going to go.
When we saw the most impressive of all items, we knew we were in with a good shot.
How good is it? It's hard to believe that such impressive work is only enjoyed by a lucky few in the community.
A most impressive end to a most impressive series of caches.
Thanks shogun and BendSinister for making it all possible.

Found it , Wow what an impressive finish to a fantastic series. All the caches were found some of them the best I've ever seen. Thank you for putting so much effort into them. We had a great time doing this series over 3 days.
Seems a bit confusing as we attempted this. Not knowing if the 2 clues we had were the right clues and figuring if we could guess the last 2. We did... well someone has done some coloring to help that part of it. So with part one solved we wondered whats next. GeowifeE had the smarts... didn't even have to move amd three cache container was in her hands. Fanatic hide and puzzle thanks.
Having collected all the other caches in the trail over yesterday and today we couldn't justify leaving this one undone so we rode the extra 2km from our last found cache to gz. Quickly discovered the first stage but then got slightly confused - it would seem we had somehow gathered an extra clue?! A little bit of logic and we solved that puzzle... only to fail big time at getting to the next stage. Cannot believe how long it took for me to finally discovered the final cache. Geo- senses clearly mug-clogged from the rainy ride! Having read previous logs searching for hints I was highly entertained by the cat story and ironically nearly used it myself when a random muggle wandered past as we got to a similar stage of the find! poor old puss! Thanks for such an amazing series and a brilliant original ending to the trail. Favourite point from us!
At least the third time I've visited this cache. Never fails to impress. Everything in order. Thanks recent finders!

With lisyb. We only found 1 clue when doing part of this trail last week but in just a few minutes we managed to get the key. A quick search & the cache was unlocked. Love the effort put in to this
A simply awesome cache!!!! Fantastic, a great way to finish this awesome series. I think geo hubby scared the life out of some muggles though.... having ridden from Merricks to Red Hill, now on the return trip...to solve the puzzle cache having picked up the clues. Using clues, got into cache, solved the mystery... and accessed the log..... muggles appeared from nowhere. The kids and i putting cache back in position and i hear hubby say.. "i am going to miss that cat."..... 5 bikes, three kids on the trail in middle of nowhere and he tells people we are burying the cat!!!!!! The muggles quickened their pace and moved on! We continued on back to Merricks without the cat...

Nice walk from Red Hill to Merricks trails accompanied with crank1 as we both finally got all the clues and return to do this cache. How amazing for this cache was an awesome idea. Favourite for me. Thanks shogun for the cache
Kmace and I enjoyed a walk today along the Rail Trail. Despite finding every cache, we only found two clues. Unsure how we missed the others... kmace will message CO.
Not really a DNF as we found all that we needed to find.....but then realised it was actually the puzzle cache along the way, that we'd been collecting clues for.....durrrr. In vain, Daddy Long Legs tried to perform the required action but we were unsuccessful. We vowed to return on our way back......but overshot the mark and weren't willing to reclimb the hill. We also missed one clue too, despite finding all the caches, so I guess one of the replacements will help us out one day. TFTC shogun-
Find #3019
I had an unexpected caching window on New Year's Eve so decided to combine this with some training for the Oxfam Trailwalker event in April. I parked down at Merricks and tackled the Red Hill Trail and a few additional caches on foot in a round trip of 15km. The weather was just right and the caches along the way were excellent. On the way up I wasn't sure I had found enough clues but once I got there I tried something and got a little lucky. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for this series and for the cache shogun. Some of the best handiwork I have ever seen on a cache. This one earns a favourite point from me. I would give it 10 if I could.

Today #TeamBrainiac reassembled to grab the Red Hill Rail Trail during our No DNF December.
A brilliant cache that deserves a fave point! Quickly deciphered the code with our clues, then the staff of freedom was obtained, but how to use it? Almost slipped on the goods, an obvious reminder of the code of conduct that many crusaders alike us uphold. The goods were uncovered, to find a devious puzzle to those without the correct staff, yet we held the answer. Unlocking this new territory, we delved in, to find the sheet of shogun-, the very element that we had searched for in this quest! Using the staff of ink and scribing (I wasn't feeling too creative with that description), we signed the sheet and were on to a new quest along this treacherous(ly spectacular) trail!
A great quest by shogun- that truely shows how clever these mysteries of yours are!
Spectacular!

Found this cache easy enoigh and now know what is required to open it.
Didn't have enough clues to open it and could have deciphered it enough to open but that just didn't seem right.
Will be back to finish the trail and solve this one.
Once again that was the great caching experience Shogun- and for bring us to this wonderful walking trail.

Amazing, loved this one so much I only had two clues (must have missed forgotten to look for the other two) but managed to get there anyway! It deserves a favorite but I am out so I come back when I get more. Many thanks for all the effort you put into this one is was a pleasure to do

My deepest and sincerest apologies for the absolutely woeful logging time for this cache. I currently have a backlog of 460 found it logs from the last three years. Yikes! Obviously, many of these will be difficult to remember and with such a big backlog I simply have to do a default log (other than a few special favourites along the way). I am writing this on the 18th of May 2019, when this log is for 03/09/2016 Thanks to all of the owners and sorry for the pitiful log!
Out and about with Mark9375 and 4bait on our rail trail run. Not normally a big fan of mystery caches but this was a cracker and gets a fave point from me
Nice find and a well constructed cache loved the effort gone into building this so it gets a favorite point. found with mark9375 and geojill-11 TFTC

Out with geojill_11 and 4bait collecting on a great bike ride the red hill express caches and some others that surrounded the area, this one was found, we had a great time and rode roughly about 14 kilometres, it was a great ride, we found all the red hill express caches not missing a single one, thank-you shogun- for the cache(s)
OKAY....Just hold it there for a minute...this type of cache i have dreamed of making and finding, we took some ideas from it and will put it into play at some point, (Kryptex)
This is just outta of this world, a cache owner that goes into this length of effort earns an awared, from the field puzzle to the hide amazing!, from the soft edges on the homemade plastics case to the krpytex itself
100x favourite points awarded,
**Thanks to shogun- for this cache**

Natasha tells us of the pushchair covered in a blanket, ferrying the caches in, which answers that exact question that Melina and I asked at "flagpole". Cachers do do funny things. It is such a fun game in so many ways. I often wonder how people get the caches into the spot when caching. It's a real insight to get to ask the CO in the actual location. Natasha's philosophy is interesting and I'm pleased to say I whole heartedly agreed with her thoughts on certain types of hides. Positive attitudes for the win!
Well, sometimes I come across a cache where I can't even get my head around how someone comes up with the design, let alone how they go about actually making it. This was one of those. I am very limited on favourite points but I will definitely award one here. I enjoyed everything about this cache. Thank you.
Thought this was pretty cool and thankfully had everything I needed enjoyed the series heaps looking forward to more
After a night caching run in the area last night the group decided to meet here today.
Lukie1987 & Ruverbug Jam were with us for this great little trail.
Easy to see why this one has so many favourites. [^]
Thanks for the cache -shogun-

Out caching with little Ruverbug, n0w0rries and Lukie1987 as team w0rluk jam. Great effort by everyone on the team, whether bipedal or bicycle.
Thoroughly enjoyed this series of caches with some very clever and imaginative hides. We had a sunny autumn day which was perfect weather for tackling the Red Hill Express.

Out today with n0w0rries, ruverbug jam, BLR346 on the red hill trial. What a trial it was some very well made caches I have to say I'd say this trial would be in the top days of finds Iv had. Thanks so much for the hours spent setting these up. Luke.
Out for a long ride yesterday to do the Redhill rail trail series.
Started on boundary road and rode up to get some along Arthur's seat road then across to the rail trail.

I wish we could give this one 5 favourite points! Kids were so chuffed with this one. So were the Geoadults.
A few minutes searching in logical enough places had what I needed to complete the cache. Well, almost! Once I had everything all went very smoothly, thanks shogun.
Day 6 of our geoholiday in Victoria and today we are heading out to Red Hill to what we thought were going to be drive byes but luckily we took the bikes, we started at Eastbound and made our way through to the end, for some silly reason i thought going back to the car via the road was going to be easier, oh how wrong i was as it was nearly uphill all the way am those are very hilly hills, riding the trail was nice and easy as most of it was mainly downhill with some great views along the way and we found some very well put together caches, thoroughly enjoyed this trail, except for going back to the car after lol. Find 12 of 12 for the day and #1965 in total.
Found by Echo!
As a rule we ignore mystery caches but after reading the description on this one we thought it needed a bit more investigating.
Turns out we were right. What a well thought out cache, very deserving of a favourite point.
We did stop off here on our way down to the end of the line knowing we should be back with the rest of the needed clues and as it turns out the clues weren't the only thing needed here.
We loved everything involved with this cache from the hunt for the clues & placement through to the final solving of the puzzle.
Well deserving.

Have been wanting to do this series for a while now. Today I had an opportunity to be in the area again so decided to see how far I could get form the other end. I could tell this was going to be a fun and interesting series by the first hide and I wasn't disappointed A very enjoyable walk even tho it was very very hot, made even more pleasant be the great variety of excellent caches. The effort put into the thought and construction of the containers and hides was amazing. Thanks for all your hard work. Very much appreciated.
This hide was So much fun and gets a favourite from me.

Found it! Our group journey with Morcs4, Vanessa&Aodh and OzHockeyChick had been planned as a pleasant ride along this trail to pick up the trads and solve the 2 puzzles that have been set here. Unfortunately we had only found 2 of the clues we would need to solve the first part of this one, not because they weren't there, more that we had forgotten to look. We found the first hide pretty quickly and decided to have a go at it anyway. After a bit of engineering discussion and intent concentration (see luck) we figured out what was needed and the innards' of this contraption were revealed.
This is where the whole thing got interesting, we sat and walked around and sat some more and talked and did bizarre mathematical calculations based of matrix's that we didn't know and could not come up with anything that would reveal the location of the final part of this cache. By now it was dark enough that torches were needed to search under the trees and we had resorted to the phone a friend option to try to get our heads around this puzzle.
Doesn't it always amazes you when sometimes the simplest things can be so hard? So imagine our reaction after about 1/2 an hour when Mark took a small step to his left and the ground went 'bong' when it had been going 'squish'!
We all just stood in place with that 'you gotta be kidding me' look on our faces that we could have missed something so close. The final part found it was easy to complete the puzzle and sign the log. This gets a Fav from us for the engineering involved, one of the best!...TFTC...{:)}

We were out on an after-work adventure to celebrate our various milestones and have a bike ride with Mark&Kelly, Morcs4 and OzHockeyChick.
This one was fantastic. We found the first part quite easily, as we seemed to have passed our RHE Master of Cache Finding Skills. But then we had it taken away just as quickly. We tried all kinds of things, thought hard and still couldn't come up with the next part we needed. We were so close! It was so frustrating!
We spent about half and hour here and retreated to the path to sit and read logs. Something made sense and Mark and Morcs4 headed back in. Within a minute Mark made that sound every cacher longs to hear: 'Found it!'. However, due to the length of time it took us to find it, I think there may have been a few more rude words in there.
Fantastic construction. Love the idea, amazing craftmanship. I'm in awe, really. So well done. Thanks shogun-, a fav point from me.

We made a fairly quick find under the pines for this first part of this journey. Managed to solve the puzzle with half the clue using a bit of common-sense, but were twarped with what we now know was the easier part of the cache. It became dark as we ponder and ruminated but eventually logic and relief prevailed as we resolved to not get so confused and overthink something so basic. Garfield was spotted and logs were signed and we fell into darkness and stepped back onto our chariots to continue.. Awesom cache...first part was the first time I had seen it...but seen it described online. Brilliant cache shogun-
Find no. 660
So after completing the majority of the trail so time ago we came back today to do the two mysteries. Feeling confident we had collected all the clues we still had no idea what would be involved. Not wanting to give to much away here this was certainly a fun puzzle! Credit to shogun for a very well created cache! All in good working order. Log signed and that marks the completion of this trail for us.

Found in the presence of the CO; available for subtle and occasionally not-so-subtle nudges as required.
Who doesn't like a field puzzle? This one was suitably elaborate and a bit tricky. Definitely needed a nudge to sort out the second stage here. Nice work. Thanks shogun-!

Most logs were signed as Sunday Group.
A great morning was had, with this being Find #22 of 30 found during our adventure.
This puzzle had everything, and anyone not giving it a fav point is a bum, as an ex PM would say if he was a cacher.
So well constructed, such ingenuity.
