15:54, 13 July 2018. #67.

RGSBruce and I found this cache after a pleasant little drive down the freeway from Werribee. There was a bit of traffic around this afternoon, but not so much we had trouble finding the cache.

15:54, 13 July 2018. #1317.

I've had my eye on this cache for a while now, but never quite seemed to get down here. Today I needed to find a cache to clear a date from my calendar, so dragged HerIndoorsOutdoors with me after a day of medical appointments.

I thought this would be a nice quiet bit of road this afternoon, but it seemed more like Pitt Street Sydney with the number of cars that came past while we hunted. At least no-one seemed to be around when we made the find. It was just as well one of us brought their kit along with them as it took one of the tools to extract the rubber glove finger from the camo.

Cache condition is as described by previous finders. That is, the camo is in good nick, but the log is still protected by the finger of a rubber glove and it's just a tiny bit damp.

I’ve passed this corner many times, but never in my own car. Since I was finally down here in my personal times, I decided to grab a couple a caches. This one really had me stumped, though in hindsight I should have found it faster. The camo was fantastic, although as others have said the container is missing. I’ve put the log in the thumb of a rubber glove in the hope it will prolong the logs life. Thanks!

Will check this one on the weekend.

10:21, April 23, 2018, # 666, out doing some research for a nearby multi, I thought I'd pick up a few nearby. This one had me looking for a few mins then I spotted the cleaver hide, NO bees here today.. just fog..... TFTC.

17-Mar-18
Found with FUF009 while caching in and around the Geelong area and then on the way back to Melbourne. Like other logs it is missing the container inside. Just paper in the hole which won't last in winter. No bees either! Tftc

Find # 4978

Found with sharkiefan after visiting Geelong for the Lead up to Parkville event.
Seeing as the road was closed along the front of Avalon Airport. we decided to take the long way out and grabbed these 4 out on the gravel track before hitting the highway back to Melb.

So glad to see the Black top at this intersection, the corrugation down this road was nasty.
Cache was a quick find. but as previous finder has said, no "cache" container was there, just a piece of paper in the hole.

TFTC

05-Mar-18
Found the camo & signed temp log from previous finder. Had a dig around for the missing cache container itself but no luck.

05-Mar-18
Container itself is present but whatever was inside (im guessing a nano bison) is nowhere to be seen. Scrap paper from previous finders log is present but wont survive poor weather in its current state.

13-Feb-18
A clever hide however the container was empty. I added some paper to keep it going. I can see that your warning is necessary as it would be easy to lose contents in the area

15-Jan-18
Great cache! Very imaginative and well made. On to the next.

10-Jan-18
On my way down to the coast for a short break so who could resist a short detour along the way to tackle the wide range of hides out this way.

There were a couple of roadworks trucks parked nearby as I approached that I thought might stop me searching here but gz was nicely tucked away around the corner just out of sight. After a quick search in one spot and startling quite a large rat our of its hiding spot I changed focus and spotted the clever camo. Thanks for the cache TR!

02-Jan-18
Founf the hide, no bees spotted maybe away for Christmas/New years holidays, like half of Victoria, Do like the work that went into making the camo, saw one just like it in Beachmere, QLD, Thanks for the cache TR!, it is in good condition, except for a bit of my ink

01-Jan-18
No bees to be seen today and we have seen this nifty sort of camo before so we were soon making our mark in the log book. Thanks for dragging us out of the house with this hide today.

Had a little geocaching run around the Lara area today.
Nice weather and a Public Holiday in Ballarat meant we had a day to go for an Adventure.
Thanks for placing the cache here for us to find.

We replaced the log here as the log was full. Luckily we had a spare waterproof log that fitted.
Nice camo and no bees luckily!

Thanks for the cache TR. I started looking in the wrong places, until something caught my eye. Nice hide, but I recommend future cachers to bee careful when accessing the cache because I was nearly lost it whilst retrieving it.

With another caching day on the agenda, aketch1 and I headed for Avalon and Lara to add a few more smilies to the map. Overall we found 12/13 caches and enjoyed a homemade picnic lunch of cheese and marmite rolls in Lara.

So many bees! Thanks TR! for placing and maintaining the cache.

#1982 Down at Avalon to pick up Mrs Laurenda flying in - arrived a little early so what better way to fill in time than pick up a few caches! No bees here today. I appreciate the effort put into caches different to the norm. Thanks TR!

Excellent camo, Well done. The log is getting tired, it was difficult to put back in the cache. Thanks TR!. great effort here. TFTC.

22-Dec-16
Love the title of this cache; was emulating Austin Powers. On the way over my fave pair of thongs snapped - noooo! Geobud thought it hilarious that there was an old discarded shoe near the cache that matched the side of my broken shoe and suggested I wear that instead. Haha no gross! Cache found all ok; nice container. No bees buzzing around today though. Yum honey yum yum! TFTC Smile

14-Dec-16
Spent the day in the area caching, no work, phone off, emails off, just exploring and hunting for boxes. Hoping for over 100 today. TFTC

Great cache container.

Another find by the McPhail family... TFTC

16-Oct-16
No-one wanted to come out with me today Sad Everyone was warm and cozy, watching movies and eating treats. What a bunch of wusbags! It was too windy to try water caches, so land ones at Avalon had to do. This one was the first for the afternoon. Thanks heaps, TR!

13-May-16
Clever hide. Another favourite for us. Thanks.

10-May-16
Found by Mary & David at 1530. We love facts and figures, and loved the description for this cache. M was happy even before she alighted from the GeoPrado. Loved the camo, although it's a bit worse for wear now, and may need some TLC. Our thanks to TR!.

This one had us scratching our heads. Searched with no luck for 10-15 minutes

Thanks anyway - we'll be back for another look.

Firstly thanks TeamAshy for reading out deshut's comment about spiders Eep! So I was definitely on the back foot especially with spider fear! But determined to get it. TeamAshy put her foot down however so this find was left to me... success! Tftc Smile

27-Feb-16
Out with suehut and this one is memorable for the huntsman that dropped from a tree onto my stomach. Sue would have sworn mightily if it had dropped onto her, nay she would have screamed. I brushed it off nonchalantly but in the meantime she had spotted the cache, curses, and was triumphant. Nice design of cache and an interesting area. Thanks.

27-Feb-16
Ok. Nice camo but bit broken. Not sure about relevance to the bees???? Thanks

No bees to be found!

17-Feb-16

14-Feb-16
(Late entry) Finally being able to catch up on some logs, we were in the area from Ballarat, after geoson had some fun with the nearby 4x4 experience, we couldn't go without trying to add a few smiles. We waited for a few cars to pass then with no one around we made the search, finally it was in hand, signed and returned, glad there was no bees around, camo a little broken but still working well, great hide, TFTC

13-Feb-16
No bees today and luckily no snakes. Nice camo. TFTC

On a drive to grab some caches and look around. This one we expected some bees but certainly didn't see any. Nice hide.

Found by Team Justice #596

On the way to Barwon heads to visit family and we thought we'd take a detour off the Fwy. Decided to pull over to see if there were any caches in the area and Lo and behold there was one right where we had parked. Quickly found by geokid#2
Thanks for the cache.

When all else fails, get your wife to take a look.
Two minutes flat! Smile
I don't know how she does it [:/]
Thanks again TR! [^]

11-Sep-15
On our way to the Great Ocean Road for a few days break and we stopped to do some caches on the way before lunch. There were a lot of Muggle double dump trucks whizzing up and down this road today and we had to wait for a lull in the traffic before we could venture to GZ. Even though there was a natural look about the cache, it was an easy find and we were on to number 4. There were no bees around today. TFTC.

15-Aug-15
After carefully reading the cache notes and carefully considering all my best options upon discovering this cleverly crafted camo...i still managed to totally screw it up and fumble the cache anyway! Mercifully a brief search found the cache on the ground. All in good nick and the bees didn't appear today! Tftc

Stopped to grab this cheeky hide on way back to freeway from hotel. Great work on camo! Cheers! Big Grin

25-Jul-15
This was our last one for the day considereing we left from melbourne at 3 to just get to geelong at 6:30 and now looking like we were going to be late lol.
OzHockeyChick and I stopped at this one with caution but from the last cache to this one the weather hadn't changed anc the subzero, white frosted, typhoon type arctic cyclonic wind even kept the much smarter than us bees in their homes and not venture out side today but......
Not us as we are danger seeker, thrillseeker, type captain risky hunters of challenges ... Etc.... Etc.....
We found this one after a reasonably short search and lucky for that as there were certain body parts that had now shrivelled and retracted and no longer exhistant on this not so perfect Geelonish day.
In saying all this the cache was a wee ripper (spoken eith best excited scottich voice)
Very well constructed and very deserving of this fav point i'm giving for the awesome effort.
Good job and of course TFTC

12-Jul-15
A horrible wet and windy day! Things were getting stormy between the GeoKids at home, so we bundled them into the car and headed out to find some drive by caches. I was in my raincoat and gumboots, and so was the designated cache finder/retriever. No bees venturing out today! A nice easy find once I noticed something slightly out of place. All in good condition. TFTC!

09-Jun-15
Nice find Cool

09-Jun-15
'Please be careful opening the camo, so the cache does not'.......oh,........ 'fall on the ground.' Oooops! Fortunately we saw where it landed, so no need to hunt twice for this one. We managed to find a tiny edge to sign the very full log sheet. Too cold for the bees today, which we are kind of glad of. Thanks TR!

07-Jun-15
Took quite a while for us to find this one. 5 year old geokid serenaded the cows with his toy guitar and his lovely singing voice while he waited. The cows loved his performance. Log book still full. TFTC.
