Passing by this one and decided to stop and do a quick find. Was an easy find, thankyou. TFTC
Today is a beautiful day and we are going on a cacher tour.We walk around the sportscomplex. We keep looking for caches on the way and are delighted with our finds. Thanks for the cachesTeam sissifalke
GPS was being uncooperative. I should've just checked the obvious feature. Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture (LJCC)
Looking all around obvious place, but not at the place I would have put a cache, gotta start thinking like a veteran catcher, not just as as veteran. Thanks, Slow Puncture(LJCC), container was full of water, so dried out, dried log sheet, signed and replaced.
I searched for this cache at night time which makes this 10 times harder but 10 times more fun. I ran down to the cache as i had to be quick and started searching. I looked for 10 minutes but found nothing so i looked in the logs for a clue. One of the photos gave it away and i found the cache tucked away. I carefully removed the cache guardian and signed the log. The coordinates were off by 10m for me. All good with this cache. Thanks for the adventure!
Headed out in the geo-car for a few caches after work today.
Decided to hit a few around Morayfield.
This one made for a quick find.

Out for a Wednesday play date with nikid1 & I'm after a few more team work attributes for a particular challenge so that dictated our adventures today. Nikid1 had already found this one so she checked out the nearby nursery whilst I went in search of the cache. I managed to get myself onto the nice fire trail that led me straight past GZ, a little too far past but cache soon found after following the suggestion in Davidwazza's log.

This evening after dinner, I needed to take a drive north to Burpengary for a Gumtree errand, and with minimal rain about, I took a drive within the vicinity to pick up a few geocaches. There were a few nice reserves that I walked through under torchlight, and I managed to get caught by a passing rain cloud just as I was finishing off my plan of attack, so with a few last geocaches found, I called it a night to return home.
Having learned my lesson from Tombstone Blues (nearby geocache), I took a long way around via Paradise Road in order to park at the suggested waypoint. Despite that being farther away from Morayfield Road, there seemed to be a friendly fire track that lead me to GZ. I took a few minutes of searching around and not having much success, and then soon spotted something further up the track that suggested a nice cache hiding spot, and sure enough I had success. I had the cache about 10 m away from its marked coordinates at S 27° 08.083' E 152° 57.900'. A cache guardian greeted me as I looked down, down, and then scurried away once it had realised that I needed to scope its present spot. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Slow Puncture (LJCC) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Slow Puncture (LJCC) I found your cache Down Down on 16/9/2022, 11:10 am. This is my find 4196 and find # 4 today. A quick and easy walk by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out and about to continue on a little personal challenge I have set myself. I was in the area today and saw these couple of caches. driving back from a couple of nearby cachers I stopped off here for a quick walk. I found the cache easily enough and the hint did help, the coordinates were spot on for me. I signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the nice hide, a very nice placement of this one, all good with cache.
We had a nice morning in this area finding some caches. We parked across the busy road and headed in along the track to GZ where a possible hiding placed was spotted on approach. We soon had the cache in hand signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks Slow Puncture for this one.
What a great area to have on your doorstep. Would’ve loved this as a kid. Enjoying it now as an adult. Cache was found easily but not where the arrow pointed. There was a little bit of water inside the container but quickly dried out however the logbook was safe and dry in his bag. TFTC
Caching senses led us straight to this one even though our arrows were trying to encourage us to turn before we got here. Really liking the areas we’ve explored so far this morning. Thanks Slow Puncture (LJCC)
Out enjoying a day of caching with mixed results, I thought I’d show this cache some love…
It was an easy walk in, and having read a couple of logs, it was a quick find… yes the coordinates are out… the inside of the log was wet, so after emptying the water I replaced the snap lock bag, and although the rite-in-the-rain log is usable, it’s pretty much one long smudge…

Fun one! Yes coordinates are off a little but you don’t have to really leave the path. Just 1 step.
Took us a while but the coordinates were 17 metres of. Maybe it’s just our phone? TFTC

Found with the help of hints left by previous finders. This fills one of our last dozen dates hidden. Thanks for the cache!
In my opinion, it was not too much of an easy find. We live just nearby and were going for a little walk. The object with the cache is not lying down, but the cache itself is down. Deep in there. Nice forest. TFTC.
Beautiful forrest, nice ambiance, good place to take the kids and hit was perfect. Suitable for bikes and prams. Parking along Paradise road.
After an exhausting week at work due to the end/beginning of the financial year, I was chomping at the bit to get outside today into some fresh air and hunt down a few caches. Couldn't have picked a better day for it, it was certainly Goldilocks weather - not too hot and not too cold, even with the wind blowing. Although the main reason for my trip over this side of town was a bust, I did pick up quite a few others including this one.
I actually walked past the cache hide at first instance, as I was not paying attention to my phone. As I did so, the thought went through my head that this would make a good hide. Well indeed someone had thought the same! After backtracking to GZ the cache was quickly revealed. On the walk back to the car I managed to CITO a few cans and bottles for my Return&Earn collection. TFTC

Out with Jack on a few chores, so as a distraction we stopped by the reserve to find this cache. There were some blokes spraying, so we said hello and headed into the bush. Near GZ I spotted a likely hidey-hole but waited for Jack to find it.
On the way back to the car, we picked up a discarded popped ballon and some other rubbish. Each time we go out, whether it be caching or not, we'll be picking up litter. CITO all year round!!
Thanks!!

Just grabbing a cache or two on my way through.
Careful you don’t lose your hand. Never a fan of reaching into places when you don’t know what’s lurking inside.

Today marked a quick successful find of this cache. Previously when I approached GZ there was a council worker busy spraying weeds on the side of the path so I left it for another day. Thanks for the cache and the smilie.
Found this cute cache in this very pretty spot with Quesera, thank you for placing this cache here for us to find
Sharpem and I were out collecting smilies. At gz I kept singing the song (in my head which I'm sure sharpem was happy about) down ,down deeper down, down down deeper down then there it was again down there down down deeper down . Thanks for the fun bringing back memories and for taking us to this nice track
Our third find on our bike ride. Geokid found this one. He says it was a really good spot!
Found today. 2nd place I thought it might be. Only 3 more needed for our mystery at the museum.

It was a case of Up Up at GZ. We spotted a koala in the trees above GZ.

Took a travel bug out of the cache
Thank you for hiding this geocache here

A fine Autumn day for a drive around Burpengary with Simber15.
Not that many muggles around here today and mostly good quick finds.
We found it 10m from my GZ.
Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture (LJCC),

The SPs were out today on a maintenance run.
Visited with some TBs whilst we attended to the cache.
This one received a new clean and dry logbook.

Found this one. GPS was about 10m off but great location. Maintenance needed as log is saturated
My GPSr has been doing some odd things lately. At this one it took me by a perfectly good spot - showing 25m to go. [B)] I stopped near zero and wondered where on earth you would hide a cache here.
Another look at the GPSr and it said 20m back. [B)]
Nice quick find when you are actually at the right place.

We have made camp in the Caboolture showgrounds for a week.
Today we headed south to Burpengary then caching on the way back into town. Visited many locations we had not been before, lots of great hides.

It's easier to park at the nursery across the road and then enter the forest but we parked in Paradise by Lagoon Drive intersection. Not a long walk even going in from this side. Found quickly in the likely spot.

Out past midnight and brought geoteen with me gave us a chance to walk the trail and talk about stuff that was getting him down. A few laughs along the way too and some massive spider webs were almost walked into which is the risk at night once they've fully built their sticky traps across the paths ..nice easy find and we we made our way back to geo mobile chatting about all sorts of social dilemmas teens and adults alike face..good talk good cache ...cheers

Who's laughing at who? That does seem to be the status quo amongst many of us in the caching community, with much love attached tho. And many of us are good at laughing at ourselves anyway
Having had to drop 1MinnieMooJnr at Chermside for her teen school holiday social life, I decided to kidnap 1GiantPanda and hold him ransom in the world of caching. And not wanting to get any caches too close to home or work, I decided I'd head up here and grab a few.... unsure of how long my luck would last with him.
Well before we even finished the journey up the freeway he was grumpy with me, but by the time we began our walk things weren't too bad, especially when discovering interesting fungus and cute little birds.
Arriving at GZ I immediately spied where I thought I should look, but the phone was pointing "over there" more. So we headed over there and decided my phone was quite the fibber. I decided I should head back and check where I first thought, and of course I found the goods.

I had a few errands to run so I made my son ride out here with me. I kind of underestimated how long it would take to get here.
Of course today is also the hottest day we’ve had for a while!
I could see what I suspected was GZ as we approached but my phone was telling me to go further but common sense told me where it was.

Little miss direction spotted this one, a quick retrieval and back on the road for more caching TFTC
Cache was a little distance away from coordinates but was easily found when our search widened a bit. I got the cache stuck because my butter fingers dropped it but Josh came to the rescue and pulled it out! The log was signed and the cache put back TFTC!
Today, I met up with Mrs RoddyC to clear a few green boxes in the area. Mr RoddyC had joined us. We managed to park the cars along the main road and made our way to GZ. Our phones were a bit slow counting down, but I spotted something that would make a good hide so stopped to investigate. By the time I had removed the cache from its hiding spot, the phones had caught up and told us that we were at GZ. Log signed and cache returned to its hiding spot, we headed off to the next one. TFTC
Mr RoddyC had a job to do in Morayfield today, so what better excuse could one find to go geocaching with Selva Girls in the area.
We were able to park on the roadway down down a little from an entry point, but a t least it was a safe park without us having to cross that really busy road. Pleasant walk through the bush along the pathway and we reached into out hip pockets to buy some grocerei------- Hang on! That;s me getting carried away by the TV ads. Shame!
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 3.15pm on 17th May 2017. TFTC. Slow Puncture (LJCC)

Parked up and wandered over to GZ, near missed the cache as it was definitely down down. A torch is an advantage for this one. TFTC Slow Puncture
Had to laugh at this one I was looking down down and Waz found it while I was further down down tftc
Was on a mission to collect a few caches to creep closer to my 1000th find. This was #996.
A quick find here. The log was damp so I have placed it in a zip locked bag.

The hollow tree had me convinced this had been muggled. Great hide. Forgot my pen though! TFTC
Wednesday. On the way back from Morayfield after watching Star Trek: Beyond, we were at a loose end and thought we would perform some needed maintenance on the two caches in this area.
First up was this one - there had been previous logs suggesting it wasn't where it should have been. As we approached GZ what should we find but two people looking suspicious near a tree holding mobile phones. Ha ha, geocachers are so obvious when you know what they are doing.
After we established what they were doing (caching) and who they were (RhoBoCacher and PirateLady64 - nice to meet you both) we informed them that the tree was not the place to be. We showed them the correct place and they said they had already looked there, and they were right, it was not there.
PirateLady64 found it concealed nearby. So, we have checked it out - all good - and replaced it where it SHOULD be.

After having a couple nearby dnf's I contacted a friend and she suggested that I do computer games. While I was waiting for her to join me I was reading the logs and noticed that people were saying wet logs hard to sign, so when she arrived to where I had parked I suggested this one and to come back 2morrow with supplies to fix up the other one. As we made our way in there was noone around and it was all good we were looking to where we thought was GZ, with no sucess so we widened our search and then decided nah it has to be there lets have another look. After a few mins of disscussing this we saw some people approaching us, and I thought they were muggles. All of a sudden we heard a familiar word, "caching" and thought hang on a second they cant be muggles so I turned around and recognised a familiar face, which was Mrs Slow Puncture. Oh wow fancy that and Mr Slow Puncture was there to so after all the introductions were done we kept searching and found it hidden somewhere other than GZ. So I signed and replaced to its original position (PLEASE fellow cachers put it back where it belongs) then we moved onto computer games. TFTC It was great to meet the both of you there and have a chat
Searched for a little while around the obvious location near GZ but it wasn't to be. After looking for a Coles Down Down container we expanded our search and belted out the odd tune until we made the find and added our name to the book. Came across this gnome while searching. tftc
We were driving past ground zero and decided we had enough time to take a quick walk along the path to make a quick cache find. Not sure if where we found it is the correct hiding place but we signed the log book and returned the cache to where we found it.
Thank you Slow Puncture (LJCC) for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Down visiting Brisbane for the weekend. While waiting for friends to finish work popped out for some caching after the rain cleared. Nice walk into cache.. Quite different from our trails up north .. Took longer than should of to locate but after reading previous logs Quickly found about 9m from GZ TFTC
Couldn't find this then went to look for another and found on the way back about 1m off the tracj.
Cache 1, me 0. I arrived at a flat patch of ground. Looking at the title I saw a couple of possibilities. One was 12 metres this way and the other was 8 metres that way. Neither turned up anything. I tried using the force but it would not come. I scrabbled around everywhere I could think to look. Oh well, I am sure it is a nice cache wherever it is . Thanks SP.
Had to return to Burpengary to pick up our caravan, so decided to do the smaller walk. Were surprised that it was almost the same way .... okay, double the fun! tftc
