Excellent hint! Happy I brought along a glove today as this fella was in the bottom of the geocache container! Luckily no one was near to hear my scream when he jumped off.
Very well-named cache. Great views from up here and a cleverly-hidden container. Really good road all the way. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Quick, easy to find drive by cache found after spending the afternoon at the nearby golf course. TFTC.
16,456. Found on a bonus caching run after picking up minniek from Moss Vale Train Station.
It made sense that after driving all the way up to MV to pick minniek up that we take advantage of it and do some caching. Next find for the day. Well that WAS a fun drive up and down - lol. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and we headed off to the next one.

That was a steep road, pulled up at GZ and geofriend spotted a likely spot, yes she was right. Nice spot for a cache.
Dude. That is the steepest road my jelly bean car has ever driven up. I had to get into 1st gear as I didn't have enough of a run up! Lol! I love the places caches take you
Thanks for the journey, the wi d is manic today, but you can't stop a cacher!! TFTC

I was in the area with some free time, so why not grab another smiley. I'm happy I was in a car, as a pushbike or by foot would be hell.... that's one steep hill.
Nice size cache too.
Cheers

Found -- 3:50:24 PM -- SL TFTH. Thanks for bringing us here to this location Platyfly. Cache in good dry condition.
It seems like it’s been ages since we last had really good weather for caching. Having a moment of cravings I've taken advantage of today's glorious hot afternoon to get out and about with hubz and the two sprouts. With petrol at a very much cheaper rate than home, it was an easy decision to come down here, cache and fill the car.
I have had such a wonderfully fantastic afternoon sleuthing our way around the back blocks of Albion Park and up toward the escarpment areas. Gorgeous green grass and awesome views, I sure was loving it up around here in places I have never been.
Even though we had an after noon start we cached until the sun disappeared over the escarpment and with that headed home. Loved this location - stunning.

Thank you for the cache. Log signed and cache replaced. *OCW Throsbyonchurch*.
Found this cache in an interesting location, and signed the log book. Thank you for the hide, liked it. Catching up on some logging for the past couple of weeks.
Nice hide, I liked this one, and hint was a help.
We didn't have time for many today but had to stop for this one.

I was heading home after some work not far away. I enjoy driving these roads that run back into the escarpment among rolling green paddocks.
Yes it is rather steep but the 4WD had no problems I parked within meters of GZ and mindful of an occasional vehicle, stepped out. Soon had the CIH. TNLN, SL. TFTC Platyfly.

Golf brought me into this neck of the woods so ducked up the hill afterwards to find a neatly fitted cache with lots of bootie. TFTC.
Wow that is a steep road. Wouldn't fancy riding a bike up there!!! Easy find and lovely drive and a superb Autumn day. TFTC
Drove out on a beautiful sunny day to say goodbye to the escarpment - this was a nice easy find, but thank you for bringing me to such a lovely spot Platyfly. Much to my surprise, 2 cars drove past while I was in the vicinity - it seems like such a quiet spot.
Goodbye TwinkleMouse. It was great to have your company. Johnny and I will miss you. Someone please find her and travel her somewhere far far away so she can get back home.
Great drive up though. Being on learners, it was a challenge I accepted and did without fail. Proud

Found this cache at 11am on our way to the PI Event at Figtree. This is a very nice farming valley (with a very popular Golf course in the middle) Nice steep drive up.
Left: China mug (Perth) and small basketball.
Thanks Platyfly for the hide.

Wow that road is steep! Easy enough find. Cache in excellent condition. Dropped off big blue / took Pro Sound & Lighting key ring (which may become a TB someday ). TFTC!!!
Decided to put a couple more smileys on my map this morning. Hadnt been out this way in quite a while. Top hill to be on your bike or billy cart. TFTC
Now That's a hill! I can just imagine the speed a billycart could gain going down it, (but I would dare try it myself!) I parked in the spot below, before realising I had to walk up further. Only once I reached the top my GPSr got a clear signal and pointed back down again!
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
A more than 50km round trip taking nearly an hour (which also hit bottleneck traffic near the Yallah/Hayward Bay turnoff) felt like I was heading a million miles away for one cache after work today. Still amazes me how beautiful and open the land is around here literally on our urban doorstep, which may as well feel like a million miles from civilisation, and yet sadly will probably be new housing estates in the future. Knowing stumbletrips’s little car and that she had conquered the steep hill, I had no worries about my own car’s ability however pulled over at the first parking option about 40m below GZ and continued the rest of the climb on foot… twice as I realised I had put my car key and gps on the ground (in long grass) while I signed the log but only picked up the gps. Panicked reminders of my disastrous experience in Byron Bay a few months ago (GCX0QP) thankfully quelled with a better and less expensive outcome. Likely hide spotted quickly and signing duties only interrupted by a passing trailbike whose approach I could hear long enough that he was more surprised to see me than I was him.
Wedding day for one of my biggest role models, so the caching was cut short.
Collecting numbers for 500 milestone
---End of copied section---
This one was nice, drove up to the sign and figured I needed more of a run up.
GZ was easy enough, parking just further along

Replaced container and log book. Took out all the wet and mouldy contents, cleaned up what I could and put it back. Hope this one will stay dry.
Nice country drive with inthistogether and new caching family The Cracken
been to Calderwood before for a golf day and got band for life for mum driving on the greens. this was my first time back here. cache was a quick find.
The first on a short little drive this afternoon. Certainly a nice little valley. Been a long time since I've been out Calderwood way for a round of golf! The kids went wheeee coming back down the hill . TFTC!
Pretty steep. The conduit all came out off the tube on top of the truck on the way up and dragged till I could stop in a safe place.
Nice quick find with Co-ords spot on.
Would love to do this in a billy cart, with something soft to stop you at the bottom of course.
Thanks Mr Platyfly

Was worried about geomobile but BC didn't disappoint. Although it seems I hit peak hour with two vehicles travelling past as I tried to retrieve cache. TFTC.
Another place that we never would have had a reason to visit if not for geocaching.
It’s really amazing how many unique locations are available so close to home.
Many thanks for the cache Platyfly

A very steep climb up. Parked just below GZ although the area is not really for lower vehicles. Walked up to GZ for a quick grab enjoyed the serenity. TFTC.
Tftc. Nice and easy, DC came today and liked the cicada shells. She collected one as a souvenir
Found after a very steep trip up. Always thought this was a private road but it is open to public. Pretty quick find. Picked up 2 Travel Bugs and left behind 2 others. Hope they get moved on soon. TFTC.
The closer to GZ I got the narrower & steeper the road got, very glad there was no one coming down the hill & that it wasn`t raining! Pulled over metres away from the cache & made a quick find of a nice sized cache, dropped in a couple of trackables to continue their journey.
TN,SL left a TB & A Geocoin. TFTC Platyfly.

I thought I'd duck out here during the day as opposed to the other day when I came late one afternoon and sprung some P-plate's having a doobie 20m from GZ. They got the shock of their lives when they seen my blue uniform.... LOL
Today I had the place to myself and quickly found the hide.
Thanks

A "little" detour after TAFE today had me here in no time, having a good eye on the smoke I think I was fairly safe here. My rental car was struggle the last couple of hundred meters!

Today was a surprise - I was heading out to scope out my next LIPT placement location a bit better and to hopefully come up with some ideas, but didn't plan to do any caching today as I'm starting to think more about filling out the calendar and I already have finds on this day. But you know, plans being what they are, after working out some ideas I checked my phone and noticed some new caches had been published - and ended up getting three FTFs! This was the third, on the way home. I've been on Calderwood Road before (one of my caches is on North Macquarie Rd) but never turned up this little steep one until today. Great views all along here and soon spotted the cache hide for a quick find. I took it back to the car for caching duties and I'm glad I did, as a 4WD came roaring up the road within seconds of me getting back to the car. It would have been awkward if I'd just been standing around holding the container as they went by! Left some marbles and a pathtag. A very memorable day - TFTC!
