Our last find of the day after a morning of caching in the rain.
We spotted an item of interest and found it to be another well camo'd cache in classic G-2 fashion. However it appears to have been damaged as the log is exposed and the cover is there but has come off and won't go back on. A shame it's broken but still a nice hide to end on. Thanks G-2.

Find number 4712. I was spending time caching while my son attended a job interview nearby. A few cars coming and going so timed in between to head undercover. Thankful as it was just starting to rain again. Walked around a bit before I spotted the hide. Took my time signing as it was dry at GZ, Thank you for the placement.
While Miss Jacksonz was sitting her Driving Test I wandered over here to get some geocaches. The cache was easily found, but doesn't seem to match the description any more. A simple slide and the log was available to be signed. TFTC.
Never to be outdone our previous non find was not going to prevent us from ultimately locating this one .We were in the area clearing up some caches that we needed to have a complete set of smileys. Came back and hunted all over. We finally found it and were pleased to claim it. The cache lid has seized and so trying to get it back on resulted in the lid only being partially closed. Needs a little bit of TLC to make it complete and fully functional.
With all this horrible lousy weather that has been around lately cabin fever was starting to set in. Ah, a small break in the rain this morning so out I went. Decided to do the ones around the multi-sports sports ground.
Initially found this cache broken so came back with a cachemobile full of tools and did a repair on the appliance. So stop yanking on the CO's chain, he is delicate.
Cheers for the cache.

Out gaining points for Planetary Pursuits challenge. Needs attention as chain is broken and there is no log. Worth fixing as its a great camo. Thanks G-2.
Back here again on an unexpected visit for work so decided to call back here for a DOT day cache, so a park an grab was in order..... spent a little time searching until I had a rethink, and made the find....only thing is the log is very wet and could not be signed.....
Photo sent direct to CO as proof of finding, as I unfortunately didn't have a replacement log sheet..sorry.

Took a bit of searching but found it, nice and easy to open, the lid was left a bit open and doesn't shut fully. Log was very wet, tried to dry it out abit and managed to get our initials on it. Thank you
We didn't really give this one a good go as the softball was in full swing in the park. We could see that others had boxed on and done it but perhaps we're just shy. There were some odd large bin bags of something, hopefully people aren't dumping rubbish here, that would be too bad.
Found eventually and then had a bit of trouble getting in. The chain was tangled : stuck and the the cache container itself rolled out! Freed things somewhat, could do with a check from the CO though. Great hide. TFTC.
Out caching for the day with Vamber.
Last find for the day and a good one to finish on. Great Camo!! A favourite people from us.
Now for some dinner and drinks!!

Headed out to the Greenhithe area with KiwifruitsNZ today to grab some of the caches around here.
A big softball final seemed to be going on at this time, so there were a lot of cars about! We parked some way down and walked up to nab this find, under the noses of the sports spectators, but didn't attract any attention whatsoever. The camo was great on this one too, but we still managed to find it. Thanks for the cache!

I think the caches in this area will ruin other geocaches for me. Another adventurous one which really had me confused for a while. Fished some hints from the logs that helped me out!
#193. I came looking for this cache a while back with my son. Rubbish had been dumped on the site (it's still there, and more besides) so we didn't end up looking for too long as we wondered if the cache had been obscured by it all. Had some time to kill today while waiting for my older daughter's rehearsal to finish. Pleased to say I located the cache after venturing a bit deeper in than I had previously. I knew immediately what I was looking at was the cache. Took a wee bit of wiggling to get the bison in and out but got there without too much trouble. Nice bit of work done putting this cache together. Glad to have knocked it off my to-do list. TFTC.

Out in the north to drop Dom's phone in the Samsung repair center, and as its out of my regular caching zone, decided to find a couple more than usual. Found this one after it of a search. tftc.

Another cunning cache. I had looked for this one previously but the amount of traffic and muggles had put me off my game. However tonight it was much easier to have a decent search and I soon found the best place to enter and locate this cache, nice hide
Lots of activities going on in the park but I was hidden from them while I extracted log . Nice camouflage well done SL TFTC
After our failure last week, my little girl and I had another go at getting into this one on our way to her swimming lesson this morning. With fresh eyes we made short work of it this time - thanks!
Miss Three and I are pretty sure we found this one on the way to her swimming lesson this morning, but couldn't find a way in!
We found the least boggy way in and then walked in circles a little bit as gps wouldn't settle. Then spying some things that matched the hint we investigated closer and soon found the cache. Ok, right, how do we get in to it? No, that doesn't work, so we scratched our heads and hummed and haa'd and eventually we twigged! Love your hides Glyn, another fp from me
I spent 30 mins here the other day, and came away with a DNF. Merlot58 and I searched in all possible locations described by the hint, and only after a more thorough investigation, did Merlot find the well hidden cache. Then came the opening, which gave us quite a bit of grief, until we realised what was required. Very well camo'd! Fav point from me.
Woo got a FTF! Well ok maybe not but at least the first to sign the new log. TFTC
Wow, that was a lot harder than the 5/5 we found of yours today too! Tough to find, tough to open. Log wet and full but we had a spare so replaced it for you, hope that's ok. Tftc
After walking round in circles for a few minutes, I spotted something unusual and yes, there it is. But found log to be full (and so old) so will send foto to CO as proof. Awesome camo. TFTC
We decided to head over this way for a little caching trip. It turned out to be be poor timing due to the soft ball but we still found all five that we intended to get.
We walked past the other nearby cache as we had decided to use the car for cover and get it as we left.
After some rummaging I thought to myself 'that can't be it' but decided to check it anyway and was impressed to see the hide - yet another FP goes to G-2.

After buying a new cachemobile this morning I figured we'd better take it for a decent spin to collect a few caches. Heading up to Albany we found this park which seemed to have just the right amount of caches for a decent walk.
This one was found by Tommygun9 after a bit of a rummage around. Another quality cache

I failed to find this one a year ago - turns out I just wasn't looking in the right place as it was easy and obvious this time. Nice one. TFTC!!!
I was in the area and had some spare time. So what else was there to do but find some geocaches. Cool camo. Had some trouble figuring how to open the container. Finally got it open, but the cache remained stuck for a while. The trusty swiss army knife came to the rescue. The log book was super full. managed to leave my mark along the side.

A rare weekend this month when the whole NZtravellers team was home, so we took advantage of a lovely spring day today to wander around the Rosedale park area and complete some caches. Watched some baseball, enjoyed some nearby lunch and found a cache or two. Had lots of fun, with some great camo’s and one or two tricky hides to really get the geo-juices going!
Found the cache quickly enough, however the method of log retrieval had us stumped for a while, turns out the extra log paper was making the job harder, so we removed the additional paper and scrawled our name on the correct log sheet somewhere down the side. Log sheet is full and needs replacing. Very crafty hide. TFTC!

Took me awhile to find the cache. When I did I ended up just taking a foto with the intention of sending it to the C.O. as proof that I had found it. Initially I had no idea as to how to open it but somehow I did. The very small log paper was superfull so I added some fresh paper to kick things along.
Quick find but have to admit I was probably lucky approaching from best direction. Log damp but still in one piece but full. Managed to squeeze an initial in but nothing more. Needs replacement please. Would have done myself but had every size in bag of tricks but that one. Cheers V.
The description led me astray for a while, but once I found the cache all made sense
Walked around a wee bit before locating this cache - another one with good camo. Then had to wait while cars were going through the nearby security gate and a ride on mower was not heading in my direction before I could leave! Thanks for another neat hide!
Found on the third loop of GZ. There were so many possibilities that I needed to search first before I got around to looking in this spot. It took me a few second to figure out what to do next without breaking anything. TFTC.
In contrast to the other Glyn caches we found this one pretty fast. The hint was so clear and the hide was very obvious. Clever cache tough!
Took a little bit of finding & needed the hint but eventually we were standing in the correct spot looking at something that should not be there. Delved into the Geocaching bag and pulled out the pocket knife. 1st time we have had to use it and it worked wonders here. Another great camo job. Someone has too much time on their hands..... TFTC
Spent a long time searching and see it's been awhile since last being found. Trying to justify our fail....?!
Ha ha ! Found this fairly quickly with Ric ! Typical Glyn type ! Still very cool thanks ...Fave from me too ..
Spotted the cache quickly but took a moment to open. Log rather damp. Great hide. t4tc
Great camo. Can't believe I didn't find this last time I was here. Guess it is just the path you take. Found it as soon as I arrived
What neat camo. Had to work out how to access the log but thanks for the clue which made this task a bit easier. TFTC
I need to remember to bring my own pen when I go Geocaching... Nice hiding place.
Pulled up to GZ, gps signal all over the place. Had a few ideas in mind but all came up blank. Stopped searching as there were plenty of muggles about. Wandered off to do other nearby caches. Came back to GZ, discarded all previous pre conceived ideas, wandered to a steady gps signal at GZ and hey presto was soon signing the log. Loved the camo. TFTC
Hi Glyn.
Was watching softball with a group of friends today after the Maker Madness event. This was a nearby one we hadn't done so a group of us including a newbie (Kerry) went for a short walk.
Four of us looking it didn't take us too long.
Another great Glyn cache. Tftc.
Find #357. Thanks for the cache. 29/03/2014 15:38

Thought this would be a quick find but gave up after 10 mins looking as I had to be elsewhere. Perhaps I didnt look hard enough
Late Sunday afternoon when we arrived at the Softball Stadium, and no muggles around. Quickly zeroed in on GZ and spotted something of interest. On closer examination this did indeed hold the cache. Soon worked out how to access the log. Another example of excellent camo. Thanks.
Great hide that took a bit of finding. Well done, another favourite point for this one TFTC.
What better way to clear your head after a bad night shift at work than to go and do a glyn cache.
Last time i was in this area this cache was disabled so after work this morning on my way home from Parnell to Henderson i decided to make a little detour via Albany to find this cache and remove the little green dot from the middle of my smiley faces.
As expected another great camo job and lots of effort gone into this cache thank you glyn. Tftc

took a while to dislodge this bugga, clearly a lot of planning gone into this glyn, tftc
What a good camo! We were looking and I was wandering around with my co-ords bouncing all around leading me all over the place until I hear Andrew call out with excitement. We struggled to remove the tube though even with the attached tool and had to leave without signing the log. Perhaps the bison tube is jammed?

14001... Quick find after work... Nice camo from the master... what else is one to expect, nice craftmanship, gets a fave, TFTC.
Just like Ledge End I started looking at something suspicious on the other side of the road but to no avail. Nice camo, TFTC
I was scrounging around the garden starting to think mutter bad words when I spotted the clever hide. Thanks glyn.
Wasn't planning on doing a cache today, having completed the 50 days in row for GeoLicense the day before.
However, as I was at softball and parked within 10m of cache it would have been rude not to find it.
Found easy enough, just a wee while sitting in the bushes until I managed to retrieve it. TFTC

GPS was a bit all over for this one, so I ended up on the wrong side of the drive poking around what is in fact very genuine electrical gear... Finally got to the cache and after a bit of thinking located the log book. Another great cache, gets my favourite point for the night
No luck here for me. The coords gave me a reasonable spot, with a few hide possibilities within a 5 or 6m radius, but could not spot anything that matched the description and the recent logs. Now at home I see it's disabled. Next time.
Will need to fix, some dickhead bastard doesn't read instructions about it needed to be handled with care. Shit!!!!!!!!!
