I received a phone call from a geocaching mate and this one has been destroyed beyond by muggles. Good buy little bird. I will open up the space and if the area is still available net time I am up in Bundaberg I will put another one out.
I suppose it is time for the little birds to hatch and grow up and leave the nest.
Thankyou to those who found the little nest and did the right thing.

After spending the last two days in Bargara it was time to head home via Bundaberg to pick up a few more caches. This one gets a favourite point from us - love the work that has gone in to making this cache. We walked in towards GZ and were a bit concerned about having to bush bash, so we pleased to find a clearing to get through and make it easier to get to GZ. Once at GZ it didn't take long before we spotted the clever hide. TNLNSL TFTC
We did enjoy the walk to find this lovely cache. We have seen about 3 similiar ones and this one was very well planned and implemented - loved the eggs! There were some birds warbling in the lovely area on this beautiful sunny morning.
TFTC youngoldfella - another great cache - much appreciated.

Mummy bird found on ground - prob from the strong winds over last couple of days. We placed her back on the nest as best as we could with what was there!
Our last day in Bundy, time to find a few more caches.
This was like a nice tour of the township, a variety of locations we visited.
This is a lovely wetland area. Good hide
Thanks for placing this cache youngoldfella

Managed to escape the in-laws for an hour this afternoon, and headed out here. For some reason I've avoided Baldwin Swamp in the past thinking it was higher terrain than it is - I am always in a rush it seems, but I was wrong. This lovely little Birdus was Foundus quickly as I picked my way to GZ. I tried helping the eggs hatch, but after I tattooed the birdling it snuck back into it's egg again.
Thanks for placing this cache, youngoldfella. Found in good condition.

Easter weekend 2nd-6th April 2015 in Stanthorpe, QLD.
I am conducting an experiment and the only way I can do this with my own caches is this way. There are not the number of other hiders caches within 200kml radius of my home. The experiment will run from 24/12 till after Easter 2014 and it will involve in part having to find some of my own caches as I do not want to drive over 300klms every week to get the result I am looking for. I am also using a different GPSr to that used to set up these hides. Now using my brand new Magellan 710.
TFTCSL - decided this would have been easier from the bottom track
That'll teach me not to listen to bundybirder lol
Thanks John

Found a real birds nest near this one 12 m away glad I was gentle thought to myself gee John has made this one look real. Found a baby chick newly hatched in the real birds nest glad I was gentle or I may have destroyed their supporting structure. Anyway knowing how good John is with co-ordinates followed a further 12 m and bingo there it was cute nest and cache,
This was my last cache for the morning. Feeling good about finding the other 2 I thought I might as well try for the trifecta. Gate wasn't open yet so I parked in the car park and walked through. Lovely day for a stroll in the park. After a few attempts trying to decide the best path to the cache I came to the spot and spied it relatively easily. Have found others like this one and always enjoy them. However I am slightly vertically challenged as a few other cachers know. If my husband or daughter had been with me it wouldn't have been an issue. I gently pulled the branch down enough for me to get the cache container without breaking anything. Was a bit difficult as I tried to unscrew the cache container with one hand while I was still holding the branch with the other. Finally did it, signed log and returned it to it's rightful spot. Wasn't surprised to see that it had already been found. Found at 8.35am. TFTC. Keep up the good work youngoldfella!

Another great cache from youngoldfella. Thanks for this John, it was an absolute pleasure to do this in my favourite part of Bundy. [^]
An ideal hiding place as there are a number of birds nesting within the vicinity.
Any cache involving birds is going to earn a favourite point from me, and having it at Baldwin deserves an extra [^]
