Had a good couple of go's at finding this one. Must be hidden really well. Might wait for confirmation that it's still there, or for someone else to find it, before going back.
This would be our 5th visit to this location without any luck. Tried the methodical approach today but after 30 minutes had to move on. Looking forward to seeing the next smiley on this guy.
Just about to pull the pin after my muggle geo brother and I spent way to long.....then bang! First look....and found it. Cheers
In Geelong today to get a few more smilies towards our next milestones with bogonghazy and Tess. Definitely right, nothing to see, and definitely not where we expected it to be. BH was looking up and down and I decided to think outside the square and came up trumps. Thanks dbelco
With a Friday off before having to work the weekend, Sorceysal, Tess the geodog and I took the opportunity to head down to Geelong to cross off just a few of the multitude of caches placed here since my last visit.
This took us ages, with me clambering all over the structure, looking up and down, and feeling with my hands where I couldn't see. Finally SS called the words I wanted to hear, "Found it"
Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky, thanks dbelco

man that was hard but started putting my fingers into gaps i could see and bingo!
Having been once before, and the recent string of DNF's, we thought this one must have been gone. Encouraged by yesterday's find, we came for a drive today, prepared to poke into every possible hiding spot - and there are plenty! We had dad with us today and Neville-devil joined in also, so we were all feeling very optimistic. After expecting a difficult search, it ended up being one of the girls who found it, in the very first place she checked! TFTC!
We were scrambling all over the place looking for this one, but had to call a halt to the searching when someone opened the back door of the sporting complex and caught us! Shortly later, the two year old produced a grotty little rubber ball, so we said fairly loudly, 'Oh good, you found your ball. Lets get going then.' Will be back for another try soon!
Stumped. The title is very fitting. Today was a failure for this cache... We will be back!
Sorry for the late logs we are trying to catch up with caches done just after the accident. We spent an enjoyable weekend with Team Crackers finding caches,
Thanks for the hide,

[red]My humble apologies for the late log...[/red]
After living away from home for 6 months, I have managed to find all my caching associated paperwork / notes & photo's so I can (finally) log all my finds...
My sincerest thanks to all the cache owners for their hides & all the effort gone into them & I'm sorry for the generic log... I have seen many beautiful area's that I would not of seen or experience if not for your hides...
Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache...

Catching up with late logs.
Mrs Crackers had travelled to Geelong with Mrs Coffee to attend all the Geelong Xmas events and we had now teamed up with alansee on our travels around Geelong.
We stopped at the nearby shopping centre to get some supplies for the BBQ lunch and then realised that this cache was close by. This one had eluded us before but we though that we would give it another try and sure enough we found the sneaky blighter this time.

Found with Team Crackers and The coffees. This was their second and my third go at this one. On my last go the GPS was all over the place - even up near the fence! This time we concentrated on different things and manged to find it, and realised why we didn'tfind it before - it is very sneaky and there are LOTS of places it could have been.
Fairly long search on and around, up and down the metal stairs. How far off were we? Might have to contact the CO or local Caching group for some hints here.

Had to wait out a few muggles who chose the stairs to play on, Once there'd gone there was a car in the parking lot next door. Eventually had a chance to look around, looked in a couple of spots then found the cache.
Thanks for the Cache dbelco

A climb and a miss for me. Thanks anyway; with so many caches in Geelong to find I couldn't justify spending too long here with nothing to see.
Sorry for the late log.
I found this cache whilst down visiting family in Geelong for the grand final. After a spot of shopping I ducked over to GZ and after a bit of a search the cache was soon in hand.

How true ...... Nothing to see for quite a while! Finally, after checking the co'ords and all the usual and expected locations and at a number of different elevations, this little guy was in hand.
Thanks to dbelco for the hunt.

We had tried this one some time ago with no luck, so we thought we would try it again and this time with much more experience, after searching for a short while we soon came up with the goods, thanks for the cache dbelco.
My first premium cache. Thank you to mr DBelco for a fantastic discovery. Very hard to find.
We were here some months ago, and saw - nothing. Today we tried to finally get a smilie but still just could not locate the little blighter. So, a call for help to the CO was in order, and he did not hesitate to help: Thank you for the prompt response! Yes, while you were still typing details, the vulture made the find. Phew, a smilie we completely owe to dbelco: Thank you for hiding and for helping us find the cache!
I said I would return and I'm back !! I had to resort to contacting the CO on this one. I must say he is very generous with his hints. [^][^][^] His help was much appreciated. Quite a sneaky hide, all adds to the experience though. TFTC dbelco
Nothing to see hey ??? Ya got that right !!! Had no luck today, looked high and low. [xx(][xx(] I think it's time I went to Specsavers !!! I shall return.....
Spent about an our at this site in the cold and the wet, trying desperately to find this one!
I conceded to email the CO and ask on FB for clues, but none were coming immediately. We ended up leaving and then after a clue from the CO arrived, we went back and had it in hand within seconds.
Coords had be a good 4-5m away from where I needed to be, and ironically, they had me exactly where I would have expected to be.

Boy was it cold this morning!
We were pleased when this turned out to be a nice quick find. Sometimes you just take the odd punt and get lucky.
Thanks to DBelco for the cache and the fun.

A blustery cold winters day won't hold me back from coming out this way for a spot of caching and stopping here to have a look for this cache which was found quite quickly given it could have been over there but found it was and with accurate co-ords and in good condition. Sounds like laser fire around here and basketball.
Thanks dbelco for making this an enjoyable day exploring.

Tried over 2 days and then I thought I better read the description. What's Nano cache mmm "Google" nope still no luck lol. It's very well hidden. Some logs have been given a clue that would be great if could help with that pls
Couldn't find it today. We looked all over in every conceivable please on the stairs. If it isn't on the stairs, we wasted a lot of time. We left and headed across the road for another cache, then returned again, but still no luck. A check of the logs showed that many of the previous finders had had hints from the owner, so it sounds like it is a dastardly hide. Certainly too good for us. My thanks to dbelco for placing it.
.... And back I was. Thanks dbelco for the tip. I hate nanos. Did I mention that?
Thanks dbelco for the hunt (and the help)

This one would have taken forever if not for COs help. Extra tricky spot. Enjoyed doing this 'geocaching bullsht'
Had a look for this one today, maybe even too long and came out empty handed, so a sad face today for us
Another Monday had come around again, this time it was a public holiday, so that gave us more time to cache. My good Mate Roostaman had been staying with me for a few days before he had to head to Geelong, this worked well as we met up with my usual parnter in caching crime TrailRunning, We had a great day/night of caching, lots of walking and riding with lots of good times. Thnaks DBelco for the cache.
# 7738 Found on the 7th leg of our S.K.I.D.R.O. adventure.
Met up with Rebel Acts and Trailrunning once again for another great adventure on a quiet Public Holiday. As TR said it was warm but with the occasional sprinkle and threat of more rain, and yet it was still a perfect day out. As usual with these 2 there was much to laugh at and some very good hides found. We got a good start on the bike trail before the day came to an end.
Not many muggles around and a quick find on most of them.
Thanks for the cache DBelco,
Roostaman.

Rebel Acts, Roostaman and I decided a cache run to Geelong was on the cards for the Public Holiday. Given Roosta was staying in Geelong it was an ideal plan. Rebel and I have been collecting caches recently in this area but there are still many more to do. It was a warm day with the occasional threatening rain but yet it was still ideal for caching. Lots of laughs and plenty of walking. Thanks to all the CO's for their efforts. We searched at the posted coords. Cache was found some metres away.
Found a very long time ago with RoadRunna.
Sorry for my delayed log.
I have a huge build up of saved unlogged found caches and now the old app is retiring, I thought I better get onto a couple while I have a few hours free and it is too hot to go hunting.
My apologies again.
Cheers and T.F.T.C!
Safe travels & hoppy caching =]

After extensive searching by Frog_Lady and I, and after a clue from the CO, finally had the cache in hand
Pulled up near this one and could see a familiar face looking suspicious. Went up to say hi and had a chat about caching whilst meeting a newbie to. Finally decided to sign the log as I had a long drive to start.
After a fruitless search of the obvious , I admit a hint from the co , then I found it instantly.
Thanks Dbelco.

Success this am thanks to a helful clue from the CO plus widening our search somewhat from our last visit. Good hiding spot indeed!
TFTC DBelco and the challenge of finding it - much appreciated!
TFTC DBelco and the challenge of finding it - much appreciated!
I was running late on my last visit and only gave this a cursory look. Today I meant to find it and with some cool logic after going up and down again I decided the GPS had settled better and narrowed the search area to within a square metre.

Suscoe was out this afternoon working on our 366 day find project.
This cache was the second find of the late afternoon run to the north.
The carpark was full and we were glad we had done all the chrissie shopping and just had to walk down to GZ.
A quick find today after our unsuccessful trip here a while ago.
Thanks to DBelco for bringing us here and for the sneaky hide.
Certainly not much to see here today!

Wasn't quite sure how to drive up to this one and ended up in the shopping centre car park. A bit of a wander and the GPSr settled. A mandatory fruitless search of the obvious places and then I noticed something just a little out of the ordinary. Soon hand my hands on the little brighter and signed the log. Thanks to DBelco for another challenging cache.
Nothing to see indeed...not even a cache on the first two occasions I looked here . The GPSr had me up, down and round about (even in the trees at one point!! But I knew that couldn't be right!). Checked where exactly the GPSr meant, came back and still couldn't find it.
Finally, needing a find today for the calendar, I asked the Red Ant a question. He answered no. I asked another. He answered yes and with that I was off. Arrived at GZ and had the little beggar in my hands within seconds. Signed the log as I listened to the sounds of excessive exercise taking place inside. Rather warm today, so glad it wasn't me for once!
Headed back to the car and was reminded of another DBelco cache at another time and in another place when my nostrils were assailed by the scent of Christmas. Not from scrambling around amongst needles this time, but because on this occasion we really had just been to collect the tree....
Thanks DBelco

After being away for a while it was time to catch up on all unfound caches in the area and this was one of them.
On my first day home I had a look at this area but with a muggle sitting in his car in the car park looking my direction I decided to return on another day.
This little fellah was not where I thought it would be so it took a while to locate and then had to return to the White Beast for the tweezers to remove the log.
Thanks DBelco for placing this cache.

DNF A second DNF of DBelco's caches today. I had my geodaughter with me, GPS got me to 1m but just could'nt find the nano. We were up & down & under the stairs but nothing.
Who will get the FTF on this one. Is it too far for Libzhat unless of course she is at the Geordie families house. Then it will be a joint ftf. Or will Ogrebeast come through and snaffle it up? The race is on!!!
Local cache, got there in break neck speed, but followed soon by a bunch of other cachers. Everyone searched frantically, only to be found by ogre beast at the spot geokid had been asked to check. Nice hide. Tftc.

In Geelong from Canberra for the Australian Masters Games. We have been collecting a few around the area but decided to change our notifications. After finishing dinner and regrouping with the team when the email came in and the opportunity to grab a first to find was to much. So into the car and off we headed across town. Arrived at GZ and met up with the group of local cachers who had recently located the hide Was nice to meet you all and thanks for the assistance. We were joined by the local police who were following up on a recent call. TFTC DBelco.
