Camo got muggled again - reconstructing again again and moving slightly offset...
A new outer container has been made. Just got to fabricate the inner and decide if the co-ords need a slight change to avoid it getting stolen again....hopefully back up very soon!
Checked and has been replaced off coordinates - a reoccurring issue with this cache. Removed for a bit of a birthday and re-establishment in a spot close by but more obvious to replace in once found and logged. Will update with new coordinate ASAP. CO
As this hadn't been found for some time and the last logs were DNFs, I was reluctant to stop and look, but with as we were biking just metres from GZ, we thought we'd give it a short search. Found lots of rubbish and some fishing line before calling it quits. 3 DNFs and 2 finds today, not a good outcome so far.
This one beat me today. Gave it ten minutes but had to meet with friends and so gave up.
Our first cache has got the better of our patience. Maybe we will try again another day. Gps was all over the place so no accuracy to locate. Great hiding spot

On a maintenance run and this one has been moved a long way from where it should be. Will correct and put in a new log ASAP
on a birthday trip around the north island, a good bit of work has been done on this one, very nicely done FP from us TFTC
Me and a friend found it quite fast after finding the (almost) exact zero point! Very cool construction. Thanks for the cache!
Had a decent search but no success with drulisa but got a tad windy will be back to visit region another time....
This one did take quite a while to find, there were many possible places and many different types of rock. Came up trumps after about 15 minutes, fortunately very few people around. A very nice container, worth a favourite point for that alone. No problems with access - signed log, TFTC
Spent quite a while at GZ and given a previous log I widened the search area and used their coords but still did not find. As another cacher said, so many rocks, so many possibilities.
Perhaps my geocaching goggles were fogged up with the rain and wind blown sea spray? I will be back another day for another look.

In the area collecting some caches with tmann421.
It was blowing a gale today and the waves were crashing on the rocks. Made our way down to the cache and tmann soon found this well camoed hide. TFTC

The plan for the long weekend was a three day hike around Mt Taranaki. To have some breaks on our way south slieschke and I made a stop to collect this one. After a long search and a PAF we finally made this find. Nice and taff hide. TFTC
A late night find with alpenmilch80 as we reached New Plymouth. This one took some searching and after a bit of help from a previous finder we eventually managed to find this cunning hide!
Thanks!
Thanks!
#6391. Nice walk along the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway after lunch today. Plenty of people were about enjoying the long Easter weekend. GZ itself was relatively quiet. Found after widening the search area, some 9 metres away. Very clever hide and the cache itself was in excellent condition. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for the cache.
Posted the averaged coordinates from our Garmin GPSmap 60CSx.

this was found on our walk all the way from Belt Road to the EC up north.
thanks a lot for given us the chance of a break.

Needs maintenance.... Someone's dropped bits of the cache into the rocks again. Will repair and reinstate this weekend....
Out with the phone tonight instead of the GPS, noticed the coords look off on the phone and satellite map image combo. Original coords are still best with the GPS, but if using a phone try S 39° 3.360', E 174° 4.117' also ... (-39.055599, 174.068624)
Found it. Accompanied by a previous logger who commented that part of it is missing and it has been moved. Part missing is the bit that needs a tool.
This one could of taken a while but some keen eyes saved us some time, nice find. Will come back next week with pen.
Visiting New Plymouth in the afternoon we found this.
This is a nice one!

A lot of muggles about and nothing obvious where the GPS said to look so gave it away. Were we looking in the right place? Doesn't know.
What a nice idea and a really good spot for a cache.
Thank you for that cache.

First trip and first cache in the Taranaki. Was giving up and then saw a hint of brass in plain sight. Great cache!
Am pleased to be able to report a "found it" status as this was a DNF for me last summer! Was determined to have another look - will admit I txted my brother for a hint as I knew that he had found this cache.... For some reason it was much easier to find this time!! A great cache in a beautiful spot. TFTC
On our retirement holiday from UK.
We found the cache at our second attempt, the GPS was playing up. Every time we got near the GPS was all over the place, so used some brain power. We lined the GPS in line with the cache site, when not in affected area and searched along that line. Found the cache after a while.
Great hide and cache

Oh my gosh, this is the coolest cache we've ever found. So clever, obviously a lot of effort has gone into creating this. We are up here visiting from christchurch and introduced our Taranaki cuzzies to geocaching with this cache. What a hard act to follow!
Second time looking and finally found it! So excited. Things are really not as they seem great cache was very excited to find this one
Found it with a little help. I am truely sorry in my rush I dropped the paper. Good hide. I do appologise. Great spot. Replaced the paper with scrap I found in pockets. Will need maintenance
First cache in New Plymouth after driving here from Auckland today. Short walk on waterfront in evening and decided to look for this one. Located it straightaway. Took great care to avoid dropping any parts - easily done! Very innovative cache! #711. TFTC.
On our way from the camping to the New World we passed this cache. One of the best we found up to now. Creative hiding place and skillfully made! Helpful description and hint. Couldn't sign as we didn't took a pen along doing groceries. Favorite.
Eventually found this one, very clever! We were asked by muggles what we were looking for so explained caching - hopefully they will join! Mind your step!

Took a few minutes of searching to locate the rock that was not like the others!! Great hide, a favourite from us! TFTC
After a bit of a scramble through a plague of flies (too much fresh seaweed), I found this crafty cache, and made sure to replace everything carefully. Brilliant hide. TFTC
I feel I was a bit lucky to find this one. Or do I make my own luck? A great cache and well worth a favourite. Thank you.
Retrieved remaining parts. All good and no problems. Easy fixed will re activate tomorrow.
Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! We found it and as I opened it I dropped the top and it fell down, down, down. We tried to retrieve it, but no show. I'll email the owner with more details. The cache is still there, but you'll need to be careful in its recovery.
A lot of effort has gone into this one. Well worth a favorite point from me!
This one is one of my favourites!! Loved the spot and the cache was brilliant!!! Good job!!
More hunting today with evisser8.
Not sure how to make this my favourite but it certainly is so far.
Visited with my trackable but no room to leave. Have had the best range if cache types today. Loving this !

Found it on while out for a walk with mum for her birthday. Wasn't planning to find it, but decided to on the spot, so didn't have a pen on me. Tftc
Short search to locate this skilfully created hide. Thought I would be foiled in the extraction process, as was all quite tightly assembled ! Thanks
Had help with a family member who made the find, great spot on another crisp bright day in NP. Thanks for the effort that has gone into this one.

Read about this one a while ago while planning a trip to taranaki - finally went tonight (just after dark and full of sushi ninja). My phone told it was in one area, my husbands the other - his was right. We probably only searched 5-10 minutes so it didn't feel long but neither of us thought we'd have any luck in the dark! Really likes this hide - tftc
Excellent cache. This one has been eating away at me, due to its close proximity to home, but there's always muggles around. Even tonight, just on dark, there some muggle teens just along a bit drinking themselves stupid, but it was too dark to see me. Great hide. TFTC
Great spot, lots of fun geocaching with my elderly mother in law in her wheelchair whilst vusting New Plymouth for Chriss work tftc
