Didn't attempt this one as there are too many DNF's. Could CO conduct a check?
like many before lokked for about 30 min with GPS jumping all over the place .... to no avail
Planned to collect the four hides in the area, but spent 30mins before work here, then viewed past logs and realised I'd wasted my time. TFTH
Request a cache check as I don't want to waste people's time, if it's more productive elsewhere.
We searched for way too long for this. After reading the logs from previous finds and the time since then we decided that perhaps this one has been disturbed with some recent GZ happenings. No sign of the yellow collar. Could the CO please drop in on this one and have a peek at where it should be please?
Wasn't an easy one! My teenage girls got bored and went to the park. I persisted and after going around in circles, noticed something out of place! TFTC!
Evening park visit to escape the heat. Kids were impressed with the track until they realised it wasnt a BMX track.
Easy find with the Jords signature style.
Thanks Jords, excellent park.

I'm very very happy that I found this one because it would have been a devastating day if I didn't. It was quite a challenging find for me, but eventually my geobrain kicked in and I noticed something looked a little bit suss. I slight discolouration of something helped me notice the cache and I was absolutely stoked!
As a side note, the tree with grey electrical wires coming out of it has nothing to do with the cache, although it is quite random and strange

I don't know how many times I walked past this one. Around and around I went.. In and out I went and still nothing.. Bloody trees and GPS, don't like working together. But alas it was found. TFTC

Hmmm! One of these again! Where it could have been anywhere!?! But alas I found it pretty quickly considering... Great park!!
I do wonder what people have against systemas under rocks. Hard to find but Jmanjezza made to spot.
Found it at last!
It's taken HannahBandana and I ages to find this one, but we finally tracked it down today.
Thanks to all the people who helped us out and thanks for the cache.

I found the necklace and the pencil, read Yurt's log, but the elusive Blenheim Park cache was not mine to be found today. .
Still not sure about the train spotter clue. Oh well, found the little bugger after a little while walking around in circles. The other clues were cool. Hope we didnt wake up the buses
I had a meeting nearby, and afterwards decided to come and try my luck again with this cache. There were some dog walkers and a young lass enjoying some sun, but they didn't pay me any attention. I quickly found the pencil, which actually threw me a bit as I concentrated my search too close to this spot, but when I changed tack and focused on the "Yurt hint" eventually made the find. Thanks for the cache
Found the yellow necklace with the pen on it and at first I thought the cache was muggled. Then I read the logs and read about the necklace. Continued my search an soon had cache in hands when using the coordinates provided in one of the previous logs.
Nice place. Thanks to JordsAU providing so much caches around Ryde. I found in meanwhile at lot of them but this one will be almost the my last one as I leave Sydney next week.

The coordinates seem to be out on this one and had us searching in all the wrong places. A quick look at the hint soon corrected that. TFTC.
Having just been to Blackman Park I thought I'd drop in to finally put this one in the 'found it' section.
I am amazed that I didn't find it the first time - The 'train spotter' clue was a great help - thanks Yurt.
For those who forget their pencil, I have left one attached to 'Tibbles' lost collar - the yellow one encrusted with diamonds, which is now tied to the pole near GZ in the far south-west corner of the park.
Cheers JordsAU - and thanks for keeping the hide away from the swings, the BBQ and the dog run!
Geo-Haiku:
Not near the buses,
Nor hidden beneath those trees...
Busted! There you are!

Wandered over to GZ and a deliberate unmissable clue on the ground immediately gave it away, so a few seconds later, I was signing the log. Cache owner might want to sus out the location and get rid of the clue because any muggle who sees it would find the cache almost definitely.

This had defeated me several times, and it was the unfound cache closest to home. At the Maker event recently I had a clue, which was so obvious. I returned very confident and there it was hugely exposed and in plain site. There was a rather dubious looking log and I think it may have been discovered by muggles and replaced incorrectly. I signed the log and put it back out of site close to where I found it. JordsAU you might want to check that this has not crept too far from where it is supposed to be.
Pleased to find this one with the neighbours truly fascinated as to why people keep scratching around their back fence! Tftc
Decided to read some logs and hint AFTER looking for about 15 minutes...darn, my GPS only pulled up about 6 logs. The one I needed was the one from Yurt. Maybe another day.
Yebo, came with the train to north ryde to cache on foot.
For this one you need time and after reading the previous logs I took yurts comment (classic train spotter) as the hint, but still it took at least 25 min to find this well-camoed cache.

Thought I would give it a try after reading the logs and with the added objective of taking son to a park. Alas it's a DNf. Not that son had much patience to allow a lengthy search!
Had a bit of time between clients so did a few in the area.
Walked past the grounds keeper bloke reading the newspaper lying down under the back of his ute, and quickly saw that this could a tricky one, with some fresh clippings and plenty of leaves and sticks, etc at GZ.
Looked through the logs and a comment from Yurt quickly put me in the right frame of mind.
Thanks for another nice little hide Jords.

After searching with HannahBandana and Mummy for ages, we couldn't find it. We looked everywhere, up, down, in, under, around and in between and didn't see the cache. Time to ask for help, I think. I've visited six times now ...
Hint leads me away from posted coords. Left no stone unturned in my search. Maybe next time...

sevabo found it straight away while I was at the other side because my GPS pointed me the wrong way anyway! TFTH
Found at 4:37pm with Nush89. Of the 4 caches we tracked down this afternoon, this one proved to be the most difficult. I suppose the trees don't make matters any easier when trying to zero in but we eventually made the find. SL TFTC
#293 (2 of 7 today)
Didn't look for this when I came past & grabbed Lane Cove Valley Expressway recently. Today is another matter.
To those recent DNFs, it's still there. Not a difficult find if you have the right GZ.
Parked in the same spot and walked to GZ. Had GPS problems under the trees, and it took quite a while for the coordinates to settle. Typically, it wanted me in a possible hide area about 10 metres away from the actual cache. But, when I made the find the iPhone was saying 2 metres (the best reading I got).
SLTN... LN
(Well almost left my Geocoin - had to go back for it).

My phone GPS made this one very difficult, as it sent me in one direction and then another over and over again. Both recent logs and the hint failed to help me find the cache today. I have not given up though, and I will return to try again another day. Tftc
Oh no, not another DNF. I even had a EAF. I must operate on a different wavelength to JordsAU.
Hmmm, perhaps I shouldn't have attempted this on Friday the 13th. Nothing went particularly wrong, but I still left without the smiley. The park was fairly quiet and I was able to search in peace. I tried the various co-ords from the logs, and had an idea of the likely type of hide, but couldn't locate the container. I shall return.

Found on Thursday, 12th December 2013 at 7.35 PM.
Log may be signed as ADI (short for AlphaDeltaIndigo).
Found with twofingersdown by twofingersdown too! Coords were a few ft away! PAF helped here… tricky tricky camo!

I said to Satanas 666 that we should search from here to there, pointing with a stick, then the stick hit pay dirt....Thanks JordsAU.
This one took longer than it should have but after a paf we were able to make the find. Right where I expected it to be but the fallen leaves didn't help any. Thanks for the cache.
Returned to the scene of my DNF and still spent a longer time here than I'd hoped even with new info. Went the right direction in the end and made the classic Trainspotter (but which one?) find. Signed and replaced. Plenty of activity in the park today but not up this way.
Thanks!
Thanks!
After last weekend's DNF I read all the logs and this placed me maybe 10m away from where I had searched before. It was a place where the hint made sense. There was clear signs of other searchers. However, I was beaten again. Will seek out an EAF before returning.

Came past this morning to finally get this. Did another 5min searching before I Called on a previous finder to give me a GAFF5 and tell me where the bugger was. Even with help it took a short while before I found it. WHEW! SL and replaced. TFTC

Third time unlucky - well, third JordsAU cache attempted today.
Spent quite a long time searching - sufficiently long to be concerned about the dog obedience class run by a police dog handler, nearby. So went to attempt two other nearby caches and returned. Dog school still happening, but spent another long time wandering around in the shrubbery looking very conspicuous. And... left empty handed. I poked and prodded, checked up trees, in holes, left very few stones unturned, but to no avail.
Oh well, it's close to home... I'll be back!
Thanks.

After reading richary's and KRS's logs, I headed north from where the GPS wanted to be and soon exposed the little cache. Thanks again JordsAU.
After finding “Lane Cove Valley Expressway” I wandered up to the other end of the park to attempt this one.
I was mindful of the logs, some of which indicate that the coordinates are a few metres out, so I searched randomly for a while, looking in likely areas, but this got me nowhere.
Anyway, as with previous finders, I started searching in a more systematic way and before too long had CIH. I had GZ at 9 metres from the published coordinates with 9 metres GPS accuracy. I’m not sure the hint helps much, unless I’m missing something.
Nice one, thanks again JordsAU.

Was considering posting a DNF after a good look around GZ, before bumping into Jackscruff who could verify the cache was still there. After confirming that I had been on the right track, my renewed confidence led me to CIH in another few minutes. Nice to meet you, Jackscruff!
After reading some logs on this one I thought I'd check on it as I was passing. Thank you Tennis World for the nearby parking.
Yes, definitely there and after the recent torrential rain not well covered at all. I guess its easy to see when you know where to look.
Found gcphil hunting around in the scrub when I arrived, nice to see someone else doing these mad things.

HannahBandana and I didn't find this one, despite a lot of looking.
We searched everywhere, extending the search area 10 metres out from where GZ was indicated by our GPSr.
It might be worth a look to see if it's still there.

Another attempt and another DNF, even with help from a previous finder. Someone has dumped a stack of branches along the fence and it prevents proper searching. May want a CO check if you're close by.
Came past AGAIN today after the rains to have another look. Walked to GZ and checked many things cache and camo like, but obviously not the cache. Man, I think I might need a PAF for this one. Thanx.
Trying to make some sense of previous logs, we spent almost half an hour looking for this elusive cache, but no luck. May have to come back some other time.
Walked over from Bundara Reserve. Having read previous logs with many DNF's when I reached GZ I scanned the area and was not very hopeful.
Within 2 minutes had CIH, SL and rehid.
Just as well as I felt quite conspicuous crunching across all the fallen leaves, especially when I could see a handle moving up and down the fence line and realised someone was only metres away scooping leaves out of their pool.
How did I find it so fast??? Ah BB has a similar one! But then he's got 116 of them so that's not really very helpful at all, or is it?

No luck here today. With the dicey coords I was not quite sure where to be. Still using the caching senses I thought I'd find it but didn't. PAF didn't reply so it's one for another time when I do the rest of these if I can work out where to park for the others.
I had the cache hint and a few log clues, but I had forgotten to download the coords. We searched anyway....
Came and looked and searched and nothing. Tough one this as GPSr didn't like me today.
The previous logs suggested that this one might be a bit more difficult to find. Jono_9 and I scouted around without success for a while before re-reading the earlier logs, and then ruling out some possibilities. We then took a systematic approach and it didn't take long before we were smiling. Thanks JordsAu - another park we had been to many times, although not to this part of it.
After parking next to another nearby cache, Sjamp and I walked towards GZ. After some searching and log reading, we finally found the cache. TFTC JordsAU.
26/10/13. 9:33 AM. Cache #1011. 8th cache of the morning and I grabbed this on my way home - my 3rd visit here (I was also here on the 24th with no luck).
Today I was armed with a hint from an EAF, but as it turns out I really should have found it on the 24th - I was definitely looking there that day, just not hard enough. I took a GPSr reading and got 731 as the S decimal. Glad to get this one out of the way. My closest unfound passes from this to another new JordsAU cache (and another DNF), Rus-in-Urbe. My home 5k now only has 4 left. TFTC }:)

After a couple of hours in the bush with geodaughter, we came home and I realised that geodoggie needed an excursion. What better place than the doggie park up the road? In between inter-doggie exchanges, we wandered up here where I had searched and failed in the failing light 3 days prior. I prodded and poked without success. I contemplated leaving but the updated hint had indicated a smaller possible area. I was encouraged by sjamp's log to be systematic. I could see where prior cachers had been either systematic or ballistic, and after adopting a combination of the two I successfully uncovered the cache. It is not really in a hidey hole as someone wrote, or not anymore.

Told you I'd be back. After spending the day in Newcastle on business and caching, Decided to take the long drive down the Expressway to the Big Smoke and do some night caching. First to find Spooky by Day, Bright by Night in Newtown and return through Ryde Pennant Hills. Have to admit to using the PAF method for help in this one. My GPS as the last time was spinning around so much it was making me giddy, Searched the area given to me and soon had the cache in hand, Signed sealed and returned to it's hidey hole. Great cache Great location. TFTC
Upon completing the other caches in the local area i made the find here. Upon noticing a few ppl have been struggling to find this cache i took note of the posted Co-ords and the co-ords at Gz from my device and man they are way out. Will pass on my findings to you tomorrow night Jords.
TFTC for this cleaver little cache.

Went for the JordsAU triple, but failed. I only had a short window available and stretched it by a couple of minutes, but couldn't find anything. Would appreciate knowing the clue given to the FTFers and looking forward to the updated co-ords.
22/10/13. 7:46 AM. One of 10 new caches in my 10k home radius that popped up in the emails while I was at work in the city yesterday -clearing this radius is going to be a while at this rate. Staying on foot after finding Lane Cove Valley Expressway and Bundara Reserve, I headed over here to complete this little triangle. However, I had no luck here. My GPSr also put 0m in the middle of a clearing so taking heed of Richary's log I headed 8 or 9 metres uphill but this still gave hundreds of options in an arc that extended from the concrete path to the chain link fence. The hint was no use (there are dozens of ways of hiding those things!) and I ran out of time; had to head for work.
Also a 'Didn't find it' from me, and after a First to Find earlier in the day at 'Lane Cove Expressway' too!
I was also in the middle of the clearing and checked the area just like KRS - I also found a number of spots that should have been hides but weren't... KRS might have seen a long rectangular 'divot' right on GZ where I found the uploaded image of 'MEGATOY' which I was sure was going to have the hide attached, but it was not to be. What I don't get is why bella or richary don't find these wonderful extra treasures... after all, in my dictionary 'Cache' has one definition as "1. A hiding place, especially one in the ground, for provisions, treasure etc." ... well I reckon you guys miss the real treasure sometimes!
Does anybody know what a 'MEGATOY' was? Check out the uploaded image! I also found a Barbie leg, three feathers, a green bead, a colourful pipe cleaner and 2 glass marbles... but no cache. Well done richary and bella - I will have to return and check the grove with more intent!
Geo-Haiku:
Some days are diamonds,
And some days are just plain stones.
Today it was both!

After the one across the highway this one has much better parking. Nice park with a few muggles but none at GZ. The GPSr and phone had us in one location but the geo senses said spread out but still no luck. An email to the CO and then Richary joined who confirmed GZ we had before and we searched again. The CO then replied a hint has been added so we widened the search and eventually turned up the well covered cache for a joint **FTF** we completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

I saw this come up late morning, and knew I had to head over past this park after lunch for an appointment. Checked before I left and still no logs had been posted.
Arrived on scene about 1:45 I guess and there was someone trying to look inconspicuous near GZ. Unfortunately GZ had put us in the middle of a clearing so we were inspecting nearby trees until an email hint came back from the owner. After a bit of searching bella put his hand on it first but has insisted we claim joint *FTF*
I made the coords to be 8 or 9 metres out which left us a few possibilities to check within a 10 metre radius, we needed to head uphill from where the 2 units had us standing. Thanks JordsAU.
