Logs
Had a good look around here, there appears to have been some recent wood chips spread around here, but nothing else to resemble the hide for this one .
I was staying in Pahi with the Jags and Aiden29 for Easter so plans were made to collect as many caches as we could while we were up north. This took quite a lot of hunting before Aiden spied the cache in a place we didn't expect it to be. It looks like the camo is disintegrating so the cache is looking a little worse for wear
We decided to get way for Easter and stay in Pahi with Merlot58 and Aiden29. This was almost a DNF. Fortunately Aiden29 after quite an extensive search spotted the actual log container in amongst the leaf litter wrapped by a small amount of rotten camo. The camo has all but disintegrated.
Headed up North with Jag50 and Merlot58 to stay in Pahi for the long weekend. We were at Marsden point, and headed up this way to find caches in the area. We almost gave up searching here, but just as we were about to move on I spotted something out of the corner of my eye, lying in the leaf litter, the camo practically disintegrated.
Well actually, it is still there and although the camo has disintegrated a bit, the actual cache and log is still in good condition.
This archived cache was still recorded in my GPS and I wasn't aware it had been archived when I started my search for this one, whilst I was out at Papich Rd. Hadn't been looking for long, when some muggle squid fishermen arrived in the carpark, so I left here and headed along to Hotel Transylvania. When the muggles had passed me at that cache, I headed back to look for this one.
From the hint, I thought it should have been reasonably obvious, but a few minutes without success, had me stopping to think. Hmmm, of course....., this was an R5 camo cache and therefore likely to be quite sneaky....!! Re-read the hint, and, thinking of other R5 caches I have found, realised that the probable hint object at GZ was probably right in front of me. Well, it seemed the camo was there, but no cache. A little bit of scratching around in the leaf litter though, soon located the cache which was in good nick and the log inside nice and dry.
After signing the log, I put the pieces back together, and replaced as per the hint. Hopefully, it can be un-archived. TFTC

Quick find which was just as well as it is a little stinky around here! SL TFTC
Very quiet here on wet afternoon. "Log" has rotted and very fragile. Thanks for bringing us here Riser5
Sorry Riser...this one has disintergated.log all good and so is the container...but the rest is history...replaced as best possible...its raining and eet or I would have done it for you tftc
Nearly missed that one!! Very cool hiding spot! Didn't forget to log, forgot a pen though!
A wonderful day for geocaching. Beginning with a few geocaches on some back roads going up to Whangarei. A muggle was walking by just when I found the cache and I hid in the trees, luckily she was too focused on her dog so I could LOG it easily
#11052. I've a bit of a logging backlog to work through (I hadn't forgotten about logging). TFTC.
Another glorious day in Northland and today's destination is Marsden Cove and surrounding areas with lots of caches finds both going to and coming from the area.
We suspected what the hide would be and we were right, so an easy find. Nice hide. It was great in the shade on a warm day. TFTC.

Out and about for the afternoon with CB to find a few caches in this area. We had a great day out and had quite a bit of fun. A couple of finds proved quite eventful too, I explain what happened on those logs. Thanks eveyone for the hides.
Found the cache pretty quickly, nice camo.

Geocchi and signed as GeoPaz. We nearly overlooked our first instinct on where the cache was. Some careful investigation proved us correct however. Tftc
Was up nortrh for CO's bday, decided to call in around this area on the way up, having just got saturated by the rain, I decided to sit out this next shower. A runner pulled up in the car next to me and set off so I followed behind and quickly made the find whilst she vanished into the distance. TFTC

Big Geocaching day up at dawn and no home until dusk. Found this on easily. #22. loved the camo and the hint in the name. tftc. ;D
A very clever cache. Great cache name and spot. An easy find on a neat little walkway. Thanks for another interesting hide
Glad it has stopped raining for 5 minutes! Hopped out of the car for a quick retrieval, liked the camo.
Thankfully the car with driver in, that was parked here when we first arrived, had now gone. So a search was possible.
Dad was the first to see the cache. TFTC

A Waitangi weekend road trip to collect a few puzzle series of caches that we have solved over the last month or so - plus any other caches that we can find on the way!
A very cunning hide but we were up to the task!

Clever hide. Mr P and I thought we would try and find some caches in One Tree Point before leaving for Auckland. T4tc
First find while on holiday. Tricked us at first until we took a closer look
A nice little walkway but didn't have time to go to the end, just to the next cache.
Cheers for the cache.
