DNF, which considering the recent posts is no surprise.
Great little cave though
Great little cave though
Like many before me we searched and failed.
Assume its been muggled.
I am happy to replace this with a new bison tube if the owner doesn't mind?

Today we headed over to Hunters Hill and Woolwich for a variety of cache types, commencing with a Traditional, then a Letterbox, and then an Adventure Lab followed by it’s associated AL Bonus Mystery cache. Also corrected a couple of DNF’s from a previous visit, one of which was a Puzzle/Mystery cache, and grabbed another Traditional cache out at Onions Point. And on the way back home we stopped off at the new “Canopy” shopping centre in Lane Cove for some grocery items, and also found the cache that’s located there, which was to be our final cache of the day. This was the 10th of 12 finds for the day.
Returned to the cave today to have another go at this one, after suffering a DNF here about 18 months ago. And amazingly this time we put our hands on the cache within about 10 seconds of entering the cave, so can't quite understand how we didn't spot it last time. Maybe it's been moved since then, anyway all good today and it's good to be able to clear another sad blue face from our geo-map. Signed the log sheet and then replaced as found. Took 2 of us about half an hour to find that. Tricky hide, especially with people around. TFTC
TFTC. As always persistence (30min of searching GZ) gave us the smiley OCW MF428. Geodog Atlas was not with us today.
After completing the neighbouring AL cache, thought I'd give this a go. Reading some of the logs to prepare got me a bit worried, especially since as I headed over there were plenty of family having a picnic on a sunday arvo. Took into account the suggestion of using a torch and checking every angle. Ended up finding it in about 10 seconds of searching! Defintely helped coming in the correct way. Loved this cave, tftc!
Brew maker was right, a torch helps TFTC. Avenging a DNF from years back here
#407. Had a quick search with no luck but then decided to be more methodical and luckily came up with the goods quickly. Sneaky! TFTC!
After doing the adventure lab I walked around to pick up a couple more than had popped up since my last visit a few years ago. Found it fairly quickly, lots of people enjoying the sunshine this afternoon despite the cool breeze. Thanks JordsAU & starstrider.
Sneaky sneaky ...... no need to say any more but definitely no climbing involved. Great views .
Came here today especially to do the AL, but ended up doing a bit more then that! Was abit lucky here by grabbing in the right spot on the second attempt!

Started the Great North Walk today with Taylapearce3. I will list caches we find on the way. This was an expected spot and lucky I looked at exactly the right spot. TFTC! GNW #1
Having done The Peninsular AL and found the bonus cache this cache was the next on my list for the day. I was lucky that there weren’t a lot of people around which made searching a lot easier. Looked in all the likely places without any luck, then started a more thorough search. Luckily I started the search at the right end.
Thanks JordsAU & starstrider for hiding the cache here for me to find.

Had some time this morning for a cycle and planned to ferry across the harbour to grab the new Woolwich Adventure Lab and if possible revenge a DNF from sometime ago on this one. With luck on my side a new Calypso62 cache also appeared an hour prior departure. Success on all fronts; the new cache, completed the Adventure Lab, AL bonus cache and this DNF reversal . What a lovely location at this one. Brilliant hide. Thanks for placing JA&S #986
After completing the AL I had some trads to clear out. This was a nice area with heaps of muggles. But the cave I wanted was clear. After trying the wrong cave at first I soon found it under torchlight. Lucky day. Great park at the end of the peninsula. Amazing views up and down the harbour and Cockatoo Island looks so close you could almost swim there! Well, in warmer weather maybe? TFTC
OCW Oldmorty and after completing his Ad Lab cache in Hunters Hill / Woolwich with him watching on, I suggested this cache which we had both visited separately over the years only to feel a little creepy hanging out in a cave with families picnicing nearby. So in we went with a plan to scan from one side to the next and within 60seconds we had the CIH. Some days you win...TFTC!
OCW morty8888. We've looked at this one over the years and read the logs but have been a little apprehensive to attempt the cache. Today while in the area we decided to bite the bullet and within a minute morty8888 said there it is. We couldn't believe our luck. I guess that you just have to be at the right angle. TFTC Bordeaux.
Found this one the first leg of the Great North Walk with Calypso62 and Rama497. First find - thanks!

After three days of the long weekend around home, we had to get out for a long walk. Found this with jomingara on our walk along Hunters Hill and Woolwich. Beautiful area with much history preserved. Thank you for the cache.
First time out on this peninsula for our Easter Monday (exercise) walk. Needing a break from the house, we took advantage of the amazing weather to head to Hunter's Hill to walk a short section of the Great North Walk.
It really is an impressive part of Sydney and it was just the taste of the outside world we needed with so much time at home.
The park itself is incredible, we just wished we'd had brought a book and lunch. Next time.
Thanks for this hide. There were so many places it could have been but the geopartner found this while I went around in the wrong areas.

What a great location.
I worried when I saw the cave, about how long it might take to find.
Luckily I saw it very quickly from just the right angle.
Tftc.

Tftc. What a fabulous cave. It’s places like this that remind us why we love caching. Mrs Jaybeem spotted the cache straight away, right angle at the right time.
What a great place to hide a cache. Luckily I had a torch in the bag. That made it much easier. As I was signing the log a party of muggles started taking photos of each other in front of the cave. Had to retreat to a nearby seat and wait for them to go away before I could replace the cache.

Now that was one tricky hide. My instincts were spot on with how this cache was hidden. Nice little cave. Thanks for adding to my global geocaching adventures.

Came for a picnic, stayed for a cache.
Took a bit of searching, and the hint.... well not much use.
But I did a slow and systematic search and the cache was eventually located.
Probably would have been quicker if I'd have entered from the right end though.
None the less a really lovley spot.

Wow I gave it 25 minutes. Lots of people down low today. A few ideas but I’d need another hint for this one.

Lunch at the Pier Hotel with the whole family and a nice walk after. Just so happened that we were passing this cave ...... and my 2 & 4 yr olds were up for hunting for treasure. Unfortunately we weren’t successful, but I was happy to have done an initial recky, will be back with the super powerful torch sometime soon. Cheers
Think this might be missing. Third DNF in a row. Please check up and DM once checked.
TFTC,
After a morning drive in the 1950 Riley for the club brunch run to Pie in the Sky north of Cowan, there was a chance to use the afternoon to cache the 3 Council areas on the North side of the Harbour that we have not visited.
We managed 7 finds from 10 attempts and now only need to visit 4 Council areas in the North West of the State to complete every area.
To well hidden for us.

Enjoyed our little explore in Woolwich today. Nice little cave here. Funny little cache jumped out when Anominous Sign was checking a previously checked spot. Thanks for the cache!
Very nice park here, and so underutilized on a lovely Sunday. We found the cave and began our search. The cache revealed itself by feel rather than sight. Thanks!
Today we took a “harbour cruise” over to Woolwich, taking advantage of the cheap Sunday $2.70 per head capped Opal Card fares, to visit the little peninsula and take a look at the handful of caches located thereon. Utilised Bus/Train/Ferry on the way over, and Ferry/Ferry/Bus for the return journey back to home. A total of 3 finds, and 2 DNF’s, for the day.
Sadly no luck for us at this one today. Expected a difficult search, and with so many possible hidey holes our expectations were soon realised, but after about half an hour of searching we had to reluctantly admit defeat and move on. TFTH anyway jordsAU & starstrider.

Out for a little night caching and this popped up nearby. I searched high and low before stopping and thinking. Then looking for a particular type of spot, I just knew it had to be right when I saw it.
Tricky! Thanks JordsAU & starstrider.

Went for a run this arvo from Wollstonecraft and wanted to check off this cache and #GC78AAD so I took the Ferry from Greenwich and picked this one up and ran back to Crow's nest the long way.
Just picked up Goat Paddock and was soon on to this one, Saw the Cave and knew that I could be here for some time - I just needed a system and to be thorough.... took about 5 mins before I returned to one of my original locations and after a bit more of a search I had it! Woohoo! TFTC

After parking up on the road and slathering myself with sunscreen i walked down the hill to the GZ.
In the cave i was out of the sun and instantly about 7 degrees cooler. Despite many flies also taking advantage of the shade and the cobwebs i enjoyed the shelter.
I came looking for this one expecting a difficult search but i was able to locate it in less then 10 mins. You do get lucky occasionally.
The log is dry and the container is in good condition.
Thanks.

We came here while on our first leg of the great north walk. Searched hard but could not find
Found with geobuddies Sujuhaje, who had previously found this one. But they wouldn't help so we were not leaving until we found it. TFTC
Ha found this, pretty good as her first find ever. Nice view of Sydney skyline and.bridge.
Wow that took along time. Had to PAF for help on this one and i cant believed we all searched there first. It always the way. Happy to add a smiley here TFTC.
Wow that was a very hidden little bugger. Searched in all the spots.... All 3 of us were all over this location and didn't come up with it. PAF to confirm we were indeed in the right area and yep we were.... Uhohhh is it gone? Searched and felt some more and finally is this it?! Yes it is!!! Wooooooo!!!! Beautiful spot!!! Tftc jords.
Should call it Bruce's Cave Not Clark's Cave, cause I sure felt more like Batman than Superman. TFTC JordsAu

On the way back from the airport to home I took a detour for some caches in this beautiful area of Sydney.
A cave cache which took quite a bit of time. I was happy I did put enough money into the parking meter! Using the flashlight on the phone provided a bit of help!
Thanks for the cache.

Well finding this cache took some time. I used my video on my phone to find it, but I took such a long shot I could not recognise when it was. So redid it with short shots and finally narrowed down the area.

Came here from the nearby EdF tribute cache. I was expecting some trouble with this one and even came prepared with a torch. Surprised there were not more kids terrorising the park but thankfully all was quiet and I could search in peace. My hunch for hide type was right and my plan was to be systematic. Luckily I came in from the right side and had my fingers on it quite quickly.

Last cache for the day, and another in this LGA for good measure to be sure my LGA challenge was met. Stopped for lunch at a picnic bench with Team MavEtJu and enjoyed the view and relative peace that comes from weekday caching. Headed to the GZ and although caves are not my favourite places, I had an inkling where something might be hidden in a space like this. Team MavEtJu shone a light into a few hidey holes, I came in from the other side, and finally I put myself into such a position that the tricky little container gave itself away. Very nice JordsAU & starstrider, and what a lovely part of the city to visit.
Out caching with ziggiau, good for nine finds today!
Nasty nasty nasty hiding place. Ziggiau was smarter at it than I was.

We were searching around for a while (Me, hedgy77 and mattmonster10) it took us quite a while but eventually found it. Very well hidden and it's the hardest one I've done so far
Found it with hedgy77 and empoleon009. Took us a while to find this one as it was a really good hide. One of my favorites.
#163 - A casual (and quick!) grab on our way to the pub, in between Pokemon hunting. Still too wet to attempt removal to sign so have photographed the cache as proof of find and will send on request if needed. TFTC!
On our way to Cockatoo Island and wandered around to see Clarke's Cave. As mentioned previously the log was saturated. We removed it and replaced it with some paper but unfortunately with no O ring on the cache it will just get saturated too. A great spot though, we enjoyed our visit. TFTC JordsAu.
