Trouve A walking and driving day with a friend to introduce him to the game. Nice and easy find. Tftc
A fun quick wee find with the kiddos. Thanks for hiding the pen too as we left ours in the car. We wouldnt have happened upon the playground if not for this cache. #blomm_voyage
This one took a bit of scrambling but geokid 10 got there in the end. It was a bit deceiving as where we wouldnt have expected to find it given the hint. TFTC and the smile
Beautiful spot down by the river and nice and close to drive to. Bit of a scramble to reach but nothing difficult. TFTC
Arrived here to grab a quick cache with Kubabelle while we let the 3 year old have a nap in the car with her grandfather.I of course took the hardest path to the cache, scrambling down towards the cache rather than up towards the cache. The cache was located quickly and our names added to the log. Thanks for placing this cache here.
Thanks for bringing us to this pleasant riverside area. I had the wrong footwear on to scramble up the bank to this one. Pleased to quickly find this large container, TFTC.
Thanks Challispoint for the cache. Its #1849 for us. We found your cache on Thursday 16 November 2023. Well maybe not a large poplar now!
Nice easy cache. Clean toilets nearby are also an advantage… especially the hot water. TFTC
As we’re currently in the area I thought I’d give this one a go again. Just short of seven years ago we’d had to DNF it. Looked on the wrong side of the “big stump” initially, then went round to the other side and spotted the telltale rock pile almost immediately. #6095. TFTC.
Nice easy one although because it was slippery my GF claims she almost dies tftc
A nice quick find. Last of the day, and the hint should now read "large stump". Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are on a wee cruise around Otago, starting in The North then heading to Central. Today we cruised around Alex, and Clyde are started the journey home. Fresh snow on the hills and the first frost of the season!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

Down in the South Island on a roadie from Northland, with Dodge 1923.... interesting history and wonderful views everywhere. we did take awhile to find this but got there in the end. Thanks for the hide.
The hint really confused me as did the name of the cache since there are no willow trees here, but eventually I found it with help from a friend. Thank you for the cache.
After a quick lunch at the Post Office we noted that this cache was only a short distance away.
Once at GZ the cache was a quick find albeit a bit of a scramble to retrieve.

We scrambled around on that steep slope for some time, having to stop searching & lay flat a couple of times when muggles came by at the bottom. Almost abandoned the hunt, but then spotted the cache, though not really where we expected it to be, possibly moved after that huge poplar was felled? Thanks for placing this cache.
I spent the late afternoon find a cache or two around Clyde. Last find of the day. Cache is definitely still there despite the tree being felled. TFTC
With a DNF posted earlier today I was unsure what I would find here. Large tree has been cut down but cache all good for now.
Thanks for the cache, Challispoint

A nice quick find here. A lovely spot for a leg stretch on our way past. TFTC.
The cache is easily seen with geo eyes from the new steep footpath, I took the higher route and retrieved quite easily. The hint probably needs redoing? The area has changed dramatically and possibly the landscapers have moved the cache to its current location. I wasn’t even using my phone when I spotted it as walking my bike down the slope. Cache in good condition. Cords a bit off now.
I *think* the massive stump is the big poplar referred to in the info/hint but couldn’t find any cache ️
This area has been replanted and a new pathway very recently and there are no willows at GZ..in fact no trees higher then my knees. I suspect the cache has gone although someone did log find 4 days ago
Thanks for the cache, track closed at present, but where there is a will there is a way.
In Clyde with Mrs KC, ready to ride the Lake Dunstan Trail tomorrow. Filled in the time looking around Clyde and grabbing a few caches on the way. I went for this one (a bit of a scramble) while Mrs KC enjoyed a view of the river. Easy find, container nice and dry.

Mrs Wicm and I went out for a late evening stroll to cool down at the end of another very hot Central Otago day. I knew there was a cache around here but I had no plans to look for it - but as we wandered down the path we both saw the very obvious signs of a cache hiding place so it would have been very silly not to check it out. TFTC.
Out on a trip down memory lane for DSI and a first time visit for AnnieLin. We had a lot of fun and laughter and slips along with learning more about our local area history. Great day had by all

Lovely hot summers day. 2nd attempt here, things looking at lot different now, don't think pathway and road to bridge was there last time.
Easily spotted from track. Would be interested to know if it has always been where it is or if the guys cutting down the tree put it back in a new spot.

Had some time to kill while I waited for Mr P to catch up to me on his bike... what better to do than find a cache. t4tc
Not sure what the tree was, but it has been cut down so the clue is useless. But the cache all still ok. Thanks
Quick find once we got onto the right trees

Spent 3/4 hour looking with my husband and still unable to find. The clue useless. No willow trees. GPS co ordinance place cache in the centre of the path. Checked 3 times
Walking around town after dinner, a local showing us the beach. While here I ducked in here to show them some caching.
Thanks very much!
Thanks very much!
Took a little wakk before dinner and checked here as it seemed most likely. For once our cacher sense was on target!! TFTC
On the way from work closer to Qt when I wanna celebrate last day of the year 2020 I decided to do some GC. Never enough caches. Unfortunately rain stopped my plan just after this first found .
What a strange cache. Hunt for a while, looking unsuccessfully for the title tree, then read the clue, then keep looking for the title tree, then eventually read some previous logs, only to find that the clue is completely wrong, and it is actually in the ynetr cbcyne. It's well hidden, so takes a bit to find. TFTC anyway.
Quick find after a little scramble down the bank. Then i work out how i could have driven there... oh well! Tftc!
Visiting Clyde for a short time while on a roundabout trip to Te Anau.
I walked down from above, read the hint and began searching everywhere except the poplar.
A fruitless search so I read a few logs. Not one of them said that I would finally find it where I’d been told not to search and at toe height, not chest.
Glad to make the find
