Several DNFS and no response to a needs maintenance log months ago- time to archive
Out to dinner last Saturday night and looked at a few possible locations to no avail.
Will have to try another day, a few muggles around, but had a good look when none were around.
Maybe this has been muggled/missing given the low find rate in the last 12 months?

It's just not there. My first geocaching experience so far. Off to the next with hopefully better luck.
Searched for quite a while and couldn't find it. Followed the hint and expanded my search but still nothing. Not many muggles about but big brother is always watching. I will be too!
We didn't find it. Maybe someone pulled the geocache off. Can you replace the geocache please?
Found. Quick park and grab. Got muggled at the bus shelter in Ray rd. With the cache in my car. Hope the bus has passed by the time I get back there.TFTC
Had time to grab a couple of caches in this area before a function. I was totally out of my area here. TFTC.
#2998 - Quick find with a very good hint. Busy with an Asian person walking around the Cenotaph slowly and two younger ladies at the Cenotaph on their phones along with a lot of other muggles along the nearby pathway. Just go the shoelace and grab.
Many thanks to the CO ***Goughy2012*** for establishing and maintaining this cache. Nice and simple, well done.

Time to return this cache to active status.

Met up with Bluewattle after having proudly marched with the W.R.A.N.S. in the city and was surprised to see that this Cenotaph showed signs of nil activity on Anzac Day. It was still nice to visit here and reflect though, thanks for bringing us here Goughy2012 and TFTC.
As a proud serving member of the Australian Defence Force, and completed Dawn Service at Parramatta, thought that is was appropriate to head down to the Cenotaph. Was not aware that the cache had been disabled. Was surprised to see that there was no evidence of a ceremony held at all during the day. As always, pondered and reflected on past military conflicts and conflicts and peace keeping that I have been involved in over the past 27 years. Lest we Forget.
As usual I disable this cache for ANZAC Day. This place is special and we should respect its meaning on this day. Please join with me in remembering the Anzacs and all men and women that died protecting our country.

And in the morning we will remember them

On our way home today Geoson asked if we could try and find another cache for the day. Leading into this long weekend I thought the Epping Cenotaph was a very appropriate one to try. It was actually very quiet while we were there. Made a quick find and while we were signing the log, sat down and had a chat about the memorial. TFTC.

Came here after collecting clues for the nearby Cipher series. Several muggles near GZ so sat on a bench and read some emails. Only one muggle left eating his lunch very close to GZ. Then he started making phone calls and after that looked like he was doing some work arghhhh! I was very close to giving up but then he suddenly left and only one muggle left preoccupied with a newspaper. Missed it on first inspection but a closer look and I had CIH. Went for a walk to sign log and replaced stealthily on my way back to the car. TFTC

Went to the pub to watch the swans nab cup and have dinner. After went for a walk and do a cache. Thanks Goughy2012.
Looked for this one once before but no joy. Looked through the logs and made a quick find after that. TFTC!
More a did not search. Too many passersby, and then a smoker came and sat on the seat closest to the area I wanted to search around, and proceeded to stare right at me while polluting the place.
I found this one after enjoying a Christmas buffet at the nearby Epping Club. The log sheets are a bit wet but signable. Thanks for the cache Goughy2012.
Last time we were here it was not an easy task. Today, I had it found before geodaughter could finish reading the plaque. She got stuck on the word PLAQUE.
What nice park. Despite plenty of muffles on their way to work I managed to get it. Thanx

Added a few sheets of paper to keep the logbook going. Muggles arrived just before replacing so I enjoyed a few minutes in the cold but sunny spring weather. TFTC
I came past on Saturday but there were two girls sharing photographs on their phones and in full flight. Came back this morning no long after sunrise and had the place to myself. After a lap my GPSr lead me to the right spot.

It was my first cache. It took me about an hour to find it, at 1.00 am with the dark and to much wine in the stomach... when me and my friend were going to give up we found it! hint is pretty sketchy...just look for a place where it can easily get wet!
Log is waterproof will monitor its condition. Please use ball point pens on it. Thanks.
Not a difficult find, but not in obvious place. Some water has leaked into cache so items inside destroyed. Log is ok as is waterproof paper. Bring a pen, not a pencil. Will fit a smallish trackable if you want to leave one.
Went on our first family geocache and found it eveb trailing 4 kids. Can't wait for the next. Dave, Lisa, Indiana, Will, Zoe and Julian.
Out caching with ContactPete and his geodaughter and my geodogs. As we got to GZ we spotted a possum on the ground, luckily my geodogs were oblivious to his presence. After a short search and then consulting the hint Pete came up with the goods. SL #2000 on streak day #1065 TFTC
This was a fun find for our first one!! Quite happy considering we struck out an hour before
Found this one fairly quickly. Nice park area and not many muggles around today. Being Easter Monday it was pretty quiet around the place. TFTC
I loved reading how people find it in the last place they looked. Well after I found it I kept looking for the fun of it. Maybe find some real treasure. That lasted about 10 seconds. Quick find. Tftc
Maggie and I in Australia to visit Amanda. She is studying there for the semester. We planned on caching a little picking up a few caches that we could. TFTH
We (GeoHunter.. and I) arrived in Sydney Sunday morning. Staying in Australia for a week before our visit to New Zealand. Not so keen on driving on the wrong side of the road so we needed to figure out public transportation to get us to the cache from our hotel right by the Central Station in Sydney. With the help of my daughter who is studying at UTS for semester we purchased the Opal cards and got couple of Australian dollars. Monday sky greeted us with a rain. After stopping in North Ride for the Lane Cove we jumped back on the train to head to Sydney Geocache Relocated we picked this one up on our way.
GPS bounced a bit and we were "reading" into the hint too much.

Took us a while but we eventually found it! Was the first one we ever found!!!
Had me guessing in the dark, checking all things black. Had CIH in the last place to search. TFTC
Found it after quite some time. Just need to stick to the hint. Also, keep away from the memorial area.
It was a nice and quiet place for a cache hunt today. Coordinates were a bit off but the hint help narrow the hiding place down.
Those water proof log sheets are good at keeping the log paper safe, but the ink washes off too easily.
Thanks for the cache.

Excellent location for reflection and a cache. No need to leave the path and cache is well hidden from the naked eye. Great area. Log is dry and there is no room for swaps or drops. SL TFTH TFTC Replaced cache as found - well hidden.
