Been waiting for a day to clear up on the calendar to do the bolt up to Bathurst to start getting the cache numbers under control. Thirty caches for the day and only 3 dnfs. It will take a few future trips to really make a dint in Bathurst but as it's only my second visit to the town I'm quite impressed with not only the caches but a beautiful town and community. Can't wait to be back with the geokid! Thanks to all the cache owners.

Decided to head down to Mount Panorama today by bike to conquer the hills and the caches! 20 finds for today, including some on the way down from Bathurst.

Last cache for today and it was a good one! Didn't read the description and came to the closest street to the cache which was not possible to access from there. Had to go all the way around to the suggested WP and walked from there. Through very long grass, and through lots of weeds.... I then realised there was an easier way, oh well that was fun anyway Razz

Wow this was a really interesting place.... I felt a bit vulnerable though and wasn't sure if I was meant to be there Razz Found it after some searching, this could of been very painful if it was a nano...

Thanks for this cache definitely adding a favourite point for the location and the experience I enjoyed it very much Smile

TFTC Apsley and for taking me to a part of Bathurst I've not visited before.

The first of 11 caches for the day - much better than last time when we tried around Mt Panorama. Luckily the gate was opened for lawn mowing so we were able to drive almost to the spot. TFTC

Look on top not where the homeless would hang out. Nearly gave up... Mmmm not sure this is quiet legal to be here

After JABs comments about the state of this cache, I went to check on it, only to find that it wasn't in its place. I thought "Ah, cache creep" and searched a bit wider, to no avail. I replaced the cache (a bit higher so that it was out of the water) and then spotted the cache container and its lid in two different spots down the hill. It was more a case of cache leap, but I guess it didn't move by itself.
As the last finder commented, I think this may be a place frequented by those of a questionable status. I hope the cache lasts.

Damp due to been sitting in water.

18-Mar-14
After dinner is after lunch so once again Code 1 and myself found our self's heading down a track with torch's in hand. After a good hunt around Was about to give up the ghost as even Code 1 was unable to locate it where he had found it. Was able to sign and replace. Cache is a little damp as it has been sitting in water.
JABs.

26-Dec-13
Yup, a cache for after lunch, even if it was Boxing Day and not a work day...
And now I've officially cleared a 30km radius from my home base... I think I'll have a fair bit of driving ahead of me to clear my remaining calendar days... Either that or some well timed holidays Wink.
Now off to clear that 30km challenge (GC2XNJZ)...
Thanks Apsley!

early morning visit. I have nothing, time to PAF

04-Dec-13
So did the PAF thing, thanks Code1 for the chat and the good hint and wandered to GZ.

We all know the saying "you can't see the forest for the trees" and this was a prime example. I thought I had looked there but when the find was made I shook my head. Oh well that is a great example of why we all love this hobby, obsession, sometimes insanity inducing activity.

Very happy to cross off this day, 1 a calendar day but 2 also an end to my travelling madness.

Great spot too.

Will try again.

It was a quick find this visit as I had looked everywhere else last visit. I had looked in thus area but just not good enough.
A freight train came past last time and the passenger train came past while here tonight.

found by Curly in a spot i had discounted as not it ! doh, we spent way to long looking for this one, got there in the end, it is in exactly in the spot i had placed a cache many years ago , freaky ah !

05-Nov-13
Found it! Smile Well, that really was a cache for lunch time. All of lunch.Got very hot out there in the middle of the day. I searched all the normal places. Then I searched some of the less common places for a feature like this. I was just about to give up when I had one last look in a spot I thought to myself was unlikely and then I spotted something that didn't belong. Gave it a poke and a prod and there it was. Empty log sheet, woo hoo. SL TFTC. Second FTF for the day Smile

Thought I'd pick off one of the new and close to home caches but despite my best efforts I walked away empty handed after at least 20 minutes, maybe more, of searching.
Will wait now and see if anyone else can find it before I return.
