I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi union suxThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
Have been to this place four years ago and couldn't find it. Seems the community is still trying to find this cache on a regular basis though. I would love this cache to keep alive: As a tribute to a great show back in the 90s. And the meaning to the LGBTQ-community. Being controverse then and supporting the uniqueness - still nowadays. The fanbase is as strong as ever. Battling on. As I am not from New Zealand, I cannot ask to adopt the cache in order to take care properly. I wish. Though I placed a new small container and dearly hope, the community might take care of it in general. Hope this is okay with the reviewer as well and allows the cache to stay alive. Please note a slightly different place: at the base of a small tree. See spoiler photo.
It is definitely gone...and CO no longer active .It was a great hide back in the day....I was a previous finder and checked recently when I took my grandies to the playground .
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Wasn't able to find it suspect I was in the right place but as other logs mentioned needs attention might be missing
Cache no longer there. Requires owner to check as found wet soggy unreadable pages.
#28 for us. Log pages saturated and disintegrating on the ground. Definitely in need of maintenance.
We have been here many times to hunt painted rocks. So nice duel activity.

The scattered remains on the cache exist, namely saturated log, but no cache at the expected location unfortunately.
Cool find and tricky we found it first try counting the poles and found it in the 8th one . Found with my three friends
A nice quick find. I would have done this the other day when I was here but there were too many others playing in the play ground. Thanks.
I'm in Auckland to house sit while my mother is overseas visting family. Today was wet and windy, though the rain had less heavy bits. Also it is great for caching in playgrounds. With any luck the weather may fine up. I'm not holding my breath!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Sadly, not found. I did find something that’s just as cool at a spot that needs maintenance!
Yay Third find for the day along with the kids. Took us a little while but we got there in the end. TFTC
Found with Reabus011 on a lovely sunny arvo, watch out for muggles on the playground!
out with agazo and alunb, agazo had already found this one so while we looked he yelled exercise instructions to the people across the road, unusual for this style of hide not to have a lot of tell tale signs, tftc
Found it between showers during my 8`th caching anniversary day. Great hide. Focused on wrong items first , almost gave up. But after checking one more possibility got it! Reading previous logs helps. T4TC
Took us a wee while but very well done
Now done all 3 around the lake today while rock hunting

Out on a nice day walking around the lake. Had to be careful with the count here but found it after a short search. Angry geese and muggles about. Nice hide. Thanks union sux.
Not my day today. I am sure it is probably there and it is my searching that was lacking
Up in Auckland for the weekend and a few extra days staying with my sister in west Auck and trip over to northcote to visit a 102year old aunt on here birthday. so i was able to pick up a few caches around about and we even nhad a lovely day for our Rangitoto day. This was fairly close by but it took a little while to locate and as i was saying to my sister 'that they can hide cache in ............. and low and behold it was so it was signed and returned with the family at the park absolutely oblivious to our actions. Thank you for this hide.
A great spot for a cache! Found to on my way around the lake scanning munzees. Found a couple of painted rocks too. TFTC
Was in the area this arvo so stopped here to watch a coupla guys playing with an RC Boat on the lake then sneaked over for a quickish find...when I learned to count properly. TFTC
Out and about trying to track down some smilies to add to the total. I certainly choose a good day for it; warm and sunny. I parked up near by and entered the reserve. I was pretty sure how this would be hidden. And performing the count seemed to confirm this notion. But the camo was well stuck on and only budged thanks to my trusty TOTT. Cheers for the hide!
#58 fantastic spot and great hide, went straight for it because it looked like it would be the coolest hiding spot and there it was! Awesome park with a surprising history too, really nice area particularly on a hot day, TFTC!
Took a while to figure out the count, but found it easy enough. Nice little playground too. Thx
Only muggles today were the birdlife from the pond. Quick find once the counting was sorted out. TFTC
I guess it depends on where you start counting whether you come to the right place. It doesn't help that when you do find the right one, you can still convince yourself it is the wrong one. So I had to go back to square one several times before I settled on the right one and found the cache. TFTC
Took ages. Felt weird searching with so many muggles around. Had one last look at the logs and noticed a slight clue. Turned out the first 8 I checked was gz but had discounted. Once I'd accessed cache, we quickly signed and made a quick getaway.
A very cute skink was guarding the cache when I arrived at GZ. Tried to get a photo but it took off as soon as the shot was about to be taken!! TFTC
Xena la guerrière, great tv show that all children growing up in the 90's have watched at least once.
Walk under the sun after a nice barbecue in a very quiet area, tftc!

Lovely one! Was there when sun was just going done, beautiful sunset over the water. TFTC
Beautiful Lake, a wonderful setting for a cache. At first I was a little confused then stood back and it quickly came to me. Cool hide. Really enjoyed this one. TFTC
This one was easy, kids played at the park while hubby retrieved the cache! SC
I walk past this geocache everyday on my morning walk. Today was the day I find it. Everyday I look for it. I crouch into that bushy area and can never find it. The last person to find it must have made it easier to open because I finally have it. Thanks for great cache.
Out for a few finds on The Monday Holiday, and first for the month of Feb. Had a good look around finally found the right 8th. Good thing it was out of view of muggles playing in the park. TFTC

Although I did not find the cache, this was one of my highlights of the day - finding out that Xena and Hercules were filmed here. I used to watch these as a kid!

Found this but couldn't get at the log to sign it. It was pouring with rain and my fellow cacher who was a previous finder confirmed I was in the right place. I was trying not to draw attention from the 2 police cars nearby and after badly scraping my finger trying to get it I retired to the car with blood pouring down my finger to find a bandage. Will return next time I'm in the area to sign the log. Have sent CO a message.
Collecting a few local caches while in the area with tmann421.
Took a few minutes, but tmann soon had this one retrieved.

Another great find on a short trip away with Just-Lookin.

I had a few hours to spare today to go and find a few caches. I decided to head west and wander around a few locations familiar and unfamiliar - well its all changed since I lived here over 25 years ago. I had a couple of ideas about where this might be and I eventually worked out what was required. This needed a tool to access the cache, which I found was infested with ants, yuk. TFTC, anyway, Biggles.
