Great little hide. Soon spotted it and had it in hand and signed. Found in good condition. Thanks again.
A slower day today preparing for the trails tomorrow, we did some excellent caches today, 30 caches in 3 hours ,all fine finds, many thanx to all cache placers for the efforts put in, top stuff
Found at 3:55:00 PM, staying in Stanthorpe for a couple of days and grabbing a few caches before continuing on our way North to escape Wagga's winter. We started the Granite Belt Bike Trail this morning and soon realised that if we were going to have any chance of completing it in one day we would need a bit more horsepower so we swapped the bikes for the Geomobile.
Thanks Rainforest Cookie.
Thanks Rainforest Cookie.
Found this on a nice day out with the family. Thanks for the cache. Searchwise 015.
When I first spied this series, I thought id walk or cycle it, turns out, its more of a driveable Trail...
Visiting QLD from Central Coast NSW, and attending the Stanthorpe MEGA EVENT for about a week. Camping at the showground, caching days done mainly with SpikeyMikey, meeting up with members of CCG, HAVOC, and others from all over Australia.
Many thanks to all responsible for a smooth operating event, my first Mega, and first visit to Stanthorpe. Plenty of reasons for a near future visit
Whilest it did rain and drizzle almost every day, I much preferred this over hot days, which is what I encounted on the Gold Coast return journey, as well as a repeated bout of coughing with the flu on the long drive home.
Great Puzzles, Power Trails, landscapes, History, Apples!, and company. Politeness and respect by all
Many Personal records smashed this weekend First MEGA, Finds per day, Altitude, etc

Bit of a sad day today, being the last day of the Queensland 2015 Mega Event. Many cachers are already packing up and heading home. Not us though - we have another day to fill in, hoping to find as many of the unfound caches around the Stanthorpe area as we can. Couldn't leave this one behind. Giving this one a favouriite point for the smile I got from the sign over the road. Thanks for the cache Rainforest Cookie
Nasty, nasty. Proved way higher than a difficulty 1.5 for me this morning. Relieved to eventually find the cache. Thanks for the hide.
Up in Stanthorpe for the Mega Event over Easter. Did caching on this day when the weather was showery however this did not stop us caching. Enjoyed locating this cache and well done to the CO. TFTC

Enjoying a beaut day in Stanthorpe & surrounds with our good mates DazRascal & Mvyrmnd.
Our goal today was to find as many types as we could & help us reach 4000 finds.
We enjoyed our drive along the back roads to find these caches, seeing some great countryside, beaut hides, lots of laughs and no DNFs.

Out and about for a days caching with Haveanez and Mvyrmnd picking up a couple series of caches during the Mega weekend.
The weather wasn't the best but we didn't let that deter us from getting out and enjoying the Stanthorpe and surrounding areas caches.
This little series of caches came recommended by many around the campsite at the Mega weekend.
With Haveanez needing a few more finds to log the Mega as a milestone we came down this way to find a few more of the smaller series of caches.
This would have to be the widest "bike trail" I would have ever seen
TNLN, Cheers.

After a rather eventful (read expensive, long and tiresome) trip down to the Mega, and spending yesterday and the morning trying to diagnose issues with the car, we decided we had better go find some caches.
Easy find, at 1510hrs. With all the cachers running around town, we decided to head out in a random direction to see what we could find. This is where our adventures took us.
Cheers

Found with Tassiegirl13 while in town for the Qld Mega.
As we arrived here we ran into Weroamin & Gerrynewgirl who also joined in the hunt.
Once we had our hands on it we received a cheer from a group in the house in paddock opposite.
Obviously they must know about the cache and have seen a few people searching for it this weekend.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
Day six was fairly gloomy and wet, but we started by heading up to the Bald Rock area, even though it turned out to be too wet to attempt the climb. Then it was back to the main road and trail caching for the rest of the way to Stanthorpe. Thanks.

Today, we're heading home after a week in Stanthorpe. I'm packed, so are the GeoSchnauzers, so is the car. We're off. Before we leave the area, there's a string of Bike Trail caches that I wanted to do but didn't get to. So I'll do them now!!! Then, I'll use caches to break up the trip.
No 3 of 12 today. Thanks, Rainforest Cookie. I parked away from this one, and walked the GSes up for an easy find.

TFTC This was a cracker of a cache. The Rooster had a wander, but no joy. Meanwhile I was reading previous logs and googling terminology when it was quite clear he was having more trouble than he should. Upon his return, I leapt out of the car and nabbed it in nanoseconds thanks to the research.. I didn't think this would be the day I learnt about straining. Before that I thought the cure was prunes, but there you go...

I should give up judging where caches are going to be by looking at the TomTom. Little did I know I had parked the car next to GZ - but it took me to galavant over the road to realise I was in the wrong
I searched about the new GZ before I spotted the well-hidden prize. Nicely little spot indeed. The cache is in good condition - even though it took a month of sundays to get the log back into the container

I’d read a prior log that was very handy So I knew what to look for here. Trickier than most of the others in this series, which was nice actually! Spotted it after a minute or two. Thanks Rainforest Cookie

Parked not far from the cache and began searching. Had a bit of trouble and then possum got her hands on the sneaky hide. Thanks Rainforest Cookie.
