Unable to find. This will open up the spot for someone else or I'll do another when life settles down. Cheers.
I looked up and down the fence line. I couldn't find anywhere that a cache could be hidden. With the other dnf's I'm wondering if it's gone.
Most likely missing. Very surprised lots of regular finds on nearby caches but this only 1 DNF over 9 months
Logging another DNF on this one, had being working down at Newhaven for a few hours today and after a drought of caching due to some other things happening, decided I had to stop here on the way home, as I was getting withdrawal symptom's, it was drizzling so no muggles, I took a good long look but failed again.
Drove past here few times.
Today is good time to find it here.
Thanks for place the cache.

Out and about cruising the island pre a weekend stay. Have driven past Brucey so many times but have never stopped to say hello. How rude of us. Cant do it again, so after finding a safe place to park, I wandered over to find Brucey. Nice from afar, but far from nice. Brucey needs some serious first aid. Unable to help with this, I proceeded to look for the cache. GPSr was not behaving here and had GZ 10m on the inside. Not confident with this, I expanded the fishing spots until I got a solid strike. TNLNSL. TFTC. KKams
Finding it a little hard to plan for which caches to target due to testing on the work site being dependent on others we found they have a problem which meant a caching window suddenly opened up.
We had GZ behind the looked gate but on spreading out made the find. Brucey certainly has seen better days but still has a smile. TFTC

Another nemesis cache knocked off the list. We are feeling pretty good about ourselves now. Unfortunately the same can't be said about Brucey, he is looking a little worse for wear these days. Poor Brucey
Found it yesterday but too many sports people nearby. Went back early today on recorded my visit. TFTC
Had a rare free Saturday with the family overseas so I planned a day of caching on Phillip Island. The forecast 40 degree heat didn't deter me though I tried to plan caches without too much walking and of course I avoided the nearby area closed due to fire danger. Having left the island I wanted to pick up a few more on the way home. This was my 29th find of 30 for the day and whilst I pulled in nearby I made hard work of it. Tried a few spots before finally getting my hands on the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache tassieexpat.
Found by The Empire
Little day trip with The Lone Random and SouthernPhoenix, but they probably won't log these caches! One more on the way home! Thanks for the cache tassieexpat.

Found after visiting the zoo and waiting for the bus to take us to Phillip’s Island. TFTC
Great easy cache, on beautiful day.
Must have the Irish lucky Irish Friend with us. AnsMisty
Log is wet!!

Managed a quick park and grab with this hide while returning from the island for home. It certainly looks like Brucey has been through the wars but still smiling. Thanks tassieexpat for the sneaky hide.
Anzac day dawned wet, very wet. No doubt that would not have stopped lots of people from attending dawn services.
We had to make our way to Tullamarine from Phillip Island. We only stopped for a couple of caches and as this is a family favourite movie we stopped for this one. Poor Bruce looks like he finally met his match, certainly coming off second best!
The cache was certainly in much better condition than Bruce, the waterproof paper being a good idea here as the ground was extremely moist.
Thanks tassieexpat for another cache. We are heading back to Tassie today......where it is dry!

Found on the way home after an awesome weekend watching the supercars.
Finally got a chance to look for this one after many drive-bys.
I'm sure Brucey once was hanging.
Cheers for the cache

Stopped at this lovely little wildlife park on our way to the famous Penguin Parade. While the overseas visitors on our tour headed straight into the park to admire our unique wildlife I noticed there was a cache nearby. Some "golfers" were playing mini golf so I cheered and clapped their efforts until they moved on to the next hole. Now I can grab the cache, sign the log and return unobserved. As in other logs, it is a short distance away from the co ords. Thanks tassieexpat.
Good 'ol Brucey. Looking a bit worse for wear these days. Stopped off for this one on the way home from a wedding on the Island. Trying to hit the magic 1,000 this weekend (5 to go). Looked where the GPS lead me, but to no avail. Checked the clue, and still couldn't find a likely spot. Decided to read some of the previous logs, and I read one about someone looking some 8 metres away form GPS co-ords. Began walking back to the car (had to get home for the kids sport) when I spotted what could be a hiding spot. Yep, there it was. Log signed and cache re-hid. TFTC
We were having a lovely day playing mini golf when to my delight there happened to be a cache outside!! Found it, then realised my hubby had the pen (as he was keeping score). Went back with pen and signed. Nice.
A nice easy and quick park and grab here on our way home after visiting some caches on Phillip Island.
Thanks tassieexpat for this placement.
Thanks tassieexpat for this placement.
Third time looking and still no luck oh well im sure we will be back at some point
A quick and easy drive by while we were in the area. I think we picked the perfect time to do this cache, muggle wise. Just before dark on a Wintery Saturday evening and there wasn't a soul in sight, not even a lot of passing traffic. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Never bothered to stop at this neat little amusement park. Parked in the car park and walked straight to GZ location. Had trouble as GPS had me going from one place and then another. Geowife was looking about 8 metres from me and she came up with the find. Log is very full and only managed to find a small spot to sign. Thanks
Found on a tour of the area - so many caches, some many nice spots to stop and suck in the oxygen. Found this in the last place I looked which was not the first place I looked.... He is a big one.
Thanks to tassieexpat and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!

On our way home from Phillip Island and had said to angloj we need to stop here on our way home so we did. Love brucey and while I was having a chat with home angloj came up with the hide. TFTC tassieexpat
At a farewell event for a friend here and came on a hunt with one muggle and one cacher and we found the confounding little treasure after a short hunt. TFTC
We had some fun feeding the kangaroos and playing mini golf before heading off in search of the cache. Hint made it a quick find - TFTC
Day out caching to Phillip Island with friends. Awesome day. Great cache, slight issue with the coordinates. TFTC
TFTC! Great hiding spot, luckily I noticed it as I was walking past as gps coordinates were way off for me. I can see how it might be hard to find on a busy day but there were hardly any muggles around as it was cold and rainy
Marc and I decided to head to the island to have a go at Gonefishings NC - With plenty of time up our sleeves I suggested to Marc we should nail a good numbers of hides that I've been meaning to pick up ... agreed it was and off we went.
Unbeknown to me Marc cleverly hatched his own numbers game [:o)] suggesting we should pick up one just down the road to the left -Yeah sure I cry out no probs.
After we picked up the first hide, the sneaky little bugger kept suggesting one more to the left or to the right LOL! he commandeered the run. Nevertheless it was a neat little run and we had a blast of a time nailing the various hides along the way.
Many thx to the CO

I've been to GZ and still don't know what 'Brucey' is a reference to! GPS wanted to drag to me to pretty much anywhere other than the hiding place but I found the wee micro eventually by ignoring it. Thanks tassieexpat!
With our bikes loaded in the car, the boys and I headed to Inverloch for the day before then having a nice long afternoon ride along the bike trail along Phillip Island Road. We had a great day and had lunch in Inverloch where there was a famers market going on at the time. After exploring and caching for a few hours we headed to the bike trail and spent the sunny afternoon pedaling away.
Our last find for the day, at 7:00pm, as we were heading for home. We parked and after a short search found the cache. With the log signed the obligatory 'Don't eat me Brucey' photo was taken and we were back on the road. Thanks for the hide tassieexpat.

Down from Canberra for a MEGA geo-getaway geomission
Today's geomission was to head off to Phillip Island to target several Earth caches at low tide and to nab a whole stack of others as well
This one was one of a whole stack I found during my Philip Island geomission. Apologies for the generic logs-I can't remember them all but I enjoyed my day caching and sightseeing!
Thanks for the hide, tassieexpat

Over for the Melbourne Mega and collecting a few caches while in the area.

Suscoe's 24th find of the day.
We decided to wander the back roads for a while to collect a few caches that we haven't been to as yet.
Now we were back on the main road and into hopefully quick finds.
Well our hopes were answered.
There it was.
So we signed the log and said hello to Brucey.

Found by Awegs. Actually, more fun was had by finding 3 golf balls and having the 7YO attempt to throw a hole-in-one over the fence: Got close!
With family over from W.A we decided to head off for the afternoon for a bit of mini golf, a tad cold but no rain meant lots of fun. Checked for caches in the area as soon as we arrived and happy to see one only 20 or so meters from parking area. Found cache within minutes and log got signed. Looks like Bruce needs a dentist !! TFTC
Was it going to rain today or not? Will it be cold? I was up at 5:30am looking out the window watching the wind and rain and thought it looks like I won't be going caching today but an hour or so later it stopped and that was good enough for me. Todays mission was to head towards Wonthaggi and find a few caches. This cache was found in good condition and with good co-ords as we head back to Melbourne. I'm pleased I got up close to Brucey
Thanks tassieexpat for helping to make this an awesome day.

Ah who could forget Brucey! This was one of the finest Pixar films and also the first to win the Oscar for Best Animated Feature.
It was all quiet here after dark and we were able to make a quick find.

Had to stop and say g'day to Bruce. Curious as to whether Sharks sleep at night it being 9pm but Brucey seemed to be wide awake! Didn't seem to mind when the Chief stuck the torch in his mouth either! TFTC
Tricky hide, we had 3 teams here with 6 pairs of eyes and we were just about to give up and DNF it but that one last departing poke unearthed the container!
Mr Squalid was determined to find this cache because of it's name, but although we searched we just couldn't see where the hide could be. We'd nearly given up when it was found. Thanks for the fearsome cache.
Arrived in the afternoon on the way back from doing part of the rail trail. Parked at the wildlife park and walked outside the fence to GZ. Had a pretty good look around but in the end we were looking to suspious so aborted. Perhaps we'll need to come back one night when the venues are shut.
Felt the need to say hi to Bruce and find his cache on our travels. Signed log as GeoBears. TFTC ☺
I have been wanting to do this one for awhile. Pulled over on the way home tonight and logged it with my Geobears. TFTC

Put back to where is was. Hint is still relevant. If co-ords put you inside, check satelite image as it is pretty accurate.
On the way home now we stopped off here to see if I could find this cache that I kept missing out on due to muggles (patrons?) on the other side of the fence. However at 10 pm the place was deserted so we expected a quick find. Well that was not to be as GZ seemed to have vanished. We searched around, did a PAF, etc to no avail. Then I wandered off to the extreme and whilst standing there I spotted something in the torch light and there it was. Later on in the car I realised that if I had read Team Thommo's log we would have saved ourselves 30 minutes.

Cache not in correct location is currently near the teated pine corner post with a concrete piece over it - will inbox you
Who doesn't love Nemo and Brucey? I think it nearly killed geo Children that we only pulled over on the side of the road to grab this cache but we have promised we can come and mini golf one day soon. Geo mum jumped out to make the find. Shielded by our geo vehicle to my right and no muggles to my left I started hunting around. I had read the clue in advance as I wanted this to be a quick stealthy find. No such luck I suspected I knew where it should be but nope nothing. A bit more of a poke around produced nothing either by this time there were muggles playing golf very close but I figuredI wasn't doing anything wrong so kept searching leaving them to wonder what the hell the crazy lady on the other side of the fence was doing.....just as geo husband was going me that look through the windscreen ( c'on its missing get back in the car) my foot rolled on something I looked down and unmistakably it was the cache laying in the middle of the grass. I took it back to the car and signed it the problem was where to put it. I tried to put it where I thought it should be but it wouldn't fit so it currently lays right next tot the treated pine pole fence post with a small piece of concrete sitting over it I will message the CO to explain. TFTC tassieexpat SL TNLN TBV
Aware of replacement of cache into probable hiding place. I will get out there in the next few days to see if it is where it should be. Thanks TeamThommo
We found this cache today at 7:10pm as number 58 of 60 on our Head for the Rails Southern Tour. We were now picking up a couple of the caches that were on the wrong side of the road on our trip down. We parked near the gate as the establishment was now closed and walked back to the tune of "Yo ho ho and a bottle of Rum" playing from the shanty as the people working there must have forgootten to turn it off when they left for the night. Thanks from D, HA, H & A B-A.
Found @ 12:17am, find # 3817.
Tonight biggles1024 and I headed for Wonthaggi to find a few caches, once that was done, we headed for home and once again we were passing by Brucey.
How could we go passed with out stopping for another look around as we have done previously without finding it.
This time was a bit different, we parked the car in the same place and walked over to an area we had seen a couple of times before but this time there was a cache right there in front of us, it was found in no time at all. Glad to finally get this one off the list.

Find #1635
Tonight Stemicmitsar and I headed to Wonthaggi for a change of scenery. This was something of a nemesis cache for us. We had made two previous attempts to find it. The first was on a wet and cold early morning and the second on our way home from another long day on the Bass coast but again we came up empty handed. A previous finder went and had a look for us and couldn't find it.
Tonight, or rather this morning on our way home we couldn't resist stopping for another look. Our GPS's took us to exactly the same spot they'd taken us on previous occasions but this time it took all of 10 seconds to find this elusive cache! The container had the original log in which would indicate that it wasn't a replacement so how we missed finding on previous attempts and how a previous finder failed to find it is a real mystery. Something a bit strange about this cache but now that we've found it, we can cross it off our list. It's a relief to be able to do so.

Picked this up on the way home from PI. Took a little bit of poking about but the cache was soon in hand. Well hidden TFTC.
Dad spotted this one. The ground was pretty wet. I would like to play mini golf here next time we stop. TFTC.
On a rainy miserable day Emily and I decided to liven our trip home from PI and do some caching with 2 of her friends. This was our third and the newbies started getting the hang of it. It was bucketing rain when we were looking here and as it didn't jump into our hands we gave up quickly. Have no fear, we will be back.
Found with coruze, skullracing and bogonghazy on our way home after the Wonthaggi Dinner event last night. We had DNF'd this one on a previous trip, so I'd asked a prev finder for a wee clue before our visit today. Many thanks to Tassieexpat for the cache.
I think today was all about meeting cachers at GZ sites lol.
After giving our departing hooroo's to bogonghazy and Sully1 at the last cache we rocked up to this one and there they were again
Luckily for us this time they hadn't already found it so we had a fair chance lol
Skullracing came up with the find in the end, nice hide tassiexpat, thanks for the fun [^]

#6023 Had to laugh when we read this cache name - The GeoPrincess used to love the movie and Brucey was the favourite. Fortunately for us the weather had been inclined to be wet so the area around GZ was all but deserted. We had once again caught up with BogongHazy and Sully1 whilst at GZ and were fortunate to locate the sneaky container. The cache was found well hidden and in good condition.
