Driving from Hervey Bay towards Burrum Heads. Parked at the boat ramp for lunch, and walk to find a cache. We found it exposed, lying on the ground about 12 metres from GZ. Contents were scattered. We collected, signed, and rehid where our GPSr said was GZ. Email to be sent to jadhoo.
Found on the first day of our Hervey Bay holiday with the geokids. Tftc jadhoo!
Coords were a bit off. Was watching phone for location and all of a sudden I saw this totally exposed. We were tempted to move it but didn't. It's now covered with sticks...a dead giveaway for a cacher but unnoticeable to a Muggle.
Master sharp eyes found this so quick! Few more steps and we had a gook look at the "new boat ramp"
This cache was not found whilst participating in the Cycle Queensland 2016 Adventure Tour.
Sleepy is the right word for this lovely town. It's hard to get a coffee on a Saturday afternoon but we managed to get a nice plate of chips.
Thanks for the cache jadhoo.

This took a bit more of a search than we expected. With so many potential hiding spots near GZ, we had to widen our search considerably. Finally located by Madelyns eagle-eyes about 8 metres from the posted GZ.
Cheers from Bindair Dundat and Princess Madelyn.

Had a bit of Gps jumping around but got there in the end. Update on the boat ramp it actually has gone ahead but as it was blocked at this location it's now gone in were there used to be a safe little beach for toddlers to swim. A shame to have it there but we've got to look longer than our own noses. Progress will happen.
An easy find, the log is full so the cache needs maintenance. The boat ramp is under construction and it will be a big scar in this nice village. I believe this place id about to lose its friendly appeal.
After a bit of misdirection from the tree cover we spotted the obvious spot while being stalked by a kookaburra.
Thanks for the cache

On our trip around Australia we stoped here to visit this beautiful place.

Found. Make sure not to try heading along beachfront at high tide; follow roads to cache area instead
Found despite bouncing needle. Had to get past ferocious guardian. Cache all good. Thank you jadhoo.
Lots of annoying mosquitoes here, but found it with Liz and Bruce and shonkylogic.
We happily went out caching with great friends from Adelaide - Shonkylogic and Shonkysmurf. It gave us an opportunity to show them around Maryborough and the surrounding locality. Today we were on our way to lunch at Goodies and this was one we were able to do. We found this one without any problem. Thanks to jadhoo for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the location.
Found after a bit of a search. Make sure you're wearing insect repellant! Log is soggy & unusable after our recent heavy rain.
Great spot on the way to the beach close to where we are staying. But so much rain and wind today!!!!
Phone gps was pointing everywhere, didn't realise we were basically on top of it. Tftc.
No sign of a boat ramp, but the cache revealed itself quickly enough. What a great community, a old school beach township. I hope they can keep it that way. Thanks jadhoo.
It is with great pleasure that we can log that we found this cache after not finding it last year when we were on holiday in Woodgate. We did find it approx. 10 metres north of GZ as a previous cacher had logged.
TFTC jadhoo and the challenge your cache gave us - much appreciated.

TFTC. My ph GPS was about 10m off. Nice stroll at sunset through the 'burbs
Today we settled into Scarness Caravan Park for 5 days, after lunch we headed back up towards Burrum Heads doing a tourist drive & hunting for caches. Placed a new log sheet into the cache.

Travelling after the QLD Mega. Heading back towards Brisbane today, to Hervey Bay for the night. This was a nice stop on the way. -TB + Pathtag. SL. TFTC.
Great hide - went with my little cousins today and was fun. We dropped off a geocoin here! TFTC
Found it right where it was hiding, right I finished our locally cooked fish and chip. Walked along the beach, everybody was out enjoying the fully sun shine day, New Years Eve.
What a wonderful day, hot, with high humidity, yet no seemed to notice it.
Except me!
Two days from now I'll almost be back home in the depths of cold...Canada.
Loved it here, but not this heat, and humidity.
Thanks for this cache jadhoo

Map took us straight there! Signed log, took a swap, left a swap. Merry Christmas!!!
Quick find on this beautiful day. Arrived at the gz with the geowife in tow and soon we had it in hand.
No muggles to be seen, signed the log and were on our way.

#662 @ 6:59 am ~ Found as part of Suzy's week long caching car-cation up the coast to Rockhampton. A nice fast find. TFTC jadhoo
Wish I had read ian-and-penny's log. Searched an area of about 6m radius from where Little RedRiding Hood (alias GPSr) said we should be and had absolutely no luck. Some visiting bird watchers who weren't cachers, nor were they muggles, even joined in and helped look for this hidden little treasure. Maybe the coords need adjusting. Too bad too sad. Will try again next time we come north for the winter.

Decided today was the day to clean up some green boxes at Burrum Heads.
A relative easy find, log book has about 15 blank logs to go to full.

TFTC jadhoo - perhaps we will find it another day??

Great fun find, we took the kids with us yabby pumping and made a detour on the way. Sneaky little hide low to the ground. We ran into a few fellow geo hunters (mickjor) for the first time and had a chat. Lovely people which made the fun all the more enjoyable. Found with RayRay22 and Ralala TFTC.
Found it on 29/6 came across other geocacher who had been looking for it for awhile. Great to talk to fellow cachers.
