Orange 2020 Day 3. I headed out for a long weekend away with Fitzy1965 & MinnieK to cache between Orange and Dubbo. We explored forests and towns and camped at Macquarie Wood. The weather was great and we managed to visit many more caches than I ever expected. The day started with packing up, then we found the remaining caches around the woods here. Lastly we finished the day by getting to as many of the Orange caches as we could in the remaining time.

This area has many caches to visit and we did not have enough time to do them all. We did a section across one half of the area with only one DNF.

fitzy_1965, albida33 & I headed out for a long weekend away. Basing ourselves at Macquarie Woods, we ended up visiting Orange, Parkes, Dubbo and lots of towns inbetween.

Day 3 saw us pack up camp early, finish the caches in the Woods then into Orange before heading home.

A big day of caching between Orange and Wellington and back. Great weather, able to squeeze in a parkrun as well and caches were all found straight forward.

Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching. Today we decided to visit Orange.

That was a bit further and more uphill than I was expecting. However means a downhill run back to the lake for a swim. Quick find at GZ - put a Geocoin that I gave been carrying for too long here - looks like a nice safe location - TFTC Squick

Choosing some caches to pick up while travelling on our way to the Red Centre Experience mega event as Alice Springs as Easter, we decided to go for some of this series. This one was easy enough to find as the co-ords are good and the cache was in the appropriate place. All was good with the contents being nice and dry. Thanks to Squick for this series of caches

Bathurst to Orange
We have set up camp at the showground overnight. We completed the lake walk in the morning then onto the Gnoo Blast in the afternoon, finishing with a tiki tour of the country side before heading home.

11225. Headed up to the Orange region with AngelG27, Sol de Lune and specimenX ("FASS") for a fun-filled weekend of caching. Lots of caches found, a few not found, and a lot of laughs had as we toured around over 2 full days as far north as Wellington which resulted in 124 finds for me.

After finishing the GB Loop we headed over to do the Lake Walk/Ride Loop. Quick find as we drove the first few in the series. Log signed, cache returned, and we were off to the next one.

Found as part of an Orange and surrounds geomission with fitzy_1965, AngelG27 & Sol de Lune (signed as FASS to save time & space) Top weather, great company and lots of laughs meant for an epic weekend of caching all round!

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX, Sol de Lune and I (logged as "FASS") headed from Canberra to Orange and surrounds for a caching blitz over the 30-31 July weekend. We logged around 1000kms in the Geo-Jeep, selecting those caches that Fitzy had not previously found. I scored around 130 caches for the trip. The visit was characterised by blue skies, very green paddocks, lots of water off and on the road, a fair amount of mud, and good company! Still plenty of caches to collect and scenic spots to explore on a return trip. Thanks to my fellow travellers for a fun weekend, and the COs for all their efforts in putting out and maintaining the caches.

31st for the day at 0955 (36th for the trip). Time to embark on another series by Squick. We drove the first few, and walked the rest - a lovely day for a walk and enjoy the lake. We drove to this one and then walked to the next few. A quick find thanks to the hint, thanks Squick!

Decided to get out for a walk and after grabbing the first few in the car , then on foot for the section around the lake, nice series

Relatively easy find. Did a series of these geocaches in no particular order. Nice quiet area.

#240. Found with meals 5 on a pleasant geocaching afternoon. We plan to do the loop around the lake to pick up the rest soon! TFTC!

Brought my bike up from Canberra for a couple of days in Orange with my wife, and after riding the loop around the old race track, I headed over to give this one a go. A few drive bys to start with, but once at number 5, I hit this trail. Completed it in a little over an hour and all though I DNF'd number 9....all was good.

Enjoyed this ride a little more than the the race track, but only because of the views over the water and wildlife/bird life spotted while out there. A pleasant way to spend a bit of time......

Thanks Squick...another good fun series that I hope is around for a while. Fav point added for these ones as well.

EASY FIND GEOGRANDKIDS ARE DOING SOME WALKING TODAY

This cache I overlooked when I last tackled the series way back in February. In Orange for Christmas, we drove out to the lake and picked this one up on the way. I took the trackable.

After tackling the Gnoo Blas series we thought that we would follow up with the Lake Walk/Ride set combined with a visit to the Pinnacle. Once again some enjoyable walks on another great autumn day. Thanks Squick for the effort you have put into setting up these two caching series.
