On Hands and knees and still can’t find it. Will have to come back. Must be kissing something!
fitzy_1965, albida33 & I headed out for a long weekend away. Basing ourselves at Macquarie Woods, we ended up visiting Orange, Parkes, Dubbo and lots of towns inbetween.
Day 3 saw us pack up camp early, finish the caches in the Woods then into Orange before heading home.
Unfortunately we had no luck here today.

Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching. Today we decided to visit Orange.

Caching to day will take us to Orange area.
Took a bit of searching but found it. Now to get it out.

Too good for us. Spent ages at this one. Looked and felt from every angle. Feeling disappointed we’ve come up empty, especially given it was found yesterday.
Having completed almost the whole track, we sat down for a wrap and a drink at the cafe by the lake.
Once done, and after having noted that #15 was disabled, and probably should have been archived, we headed to this the last one in the series.
We searched thorougly along the whole structure, but had no luck until finally we put a hand in a place where we thought we had looked already.
As a summary, it had been a nice walk and a nice track. Just a pity that the cache owner seems to have lost interest in maintaining it. Maybe someone else could adopt it and perform some TLC of the track.

Yay, finally found it!!!! Started getting really frustrated and the kids saying it must be gone!! Had to resort to photos from 2015 to try and help with still no luck, but when we finally got the husband/dad away from the BlackBerry bush, (with a hat full of berries) he came through with the goods!! Very satisfying end to a nice day of geocaching!! TFTC
Last one in this series - the kids were keen for a paddle and I suspected if we didn’t get out today Christmas would eat all our time. Weather was perfect, there weren’t too many people and I could find some more caches. Hoped to find some butterflies as well - small grass-yellow and imperial hairstreak were added to the trip list, Did the lake circuit with oldest GeoSon while he played Pokémon and then did the last few by myself. Searched briefly for two that have not been found for a while but the rest were all quickly found.
This was the last attempted and as I approached the structure thought this could take a while. However, found in the first place I put my hand and so was quickly signed and on my way.
Will hopefully get the rest in this series tomorrow when everyone is comatose after Christmas lunch (I plan to go next to the lake go to Canobolas to chase more butterflies). TFTC Squick

Found by geogroping. The ends a lovely circuit of caching and cycling. Good exercise for us seniors. TFTC and bringing us to this lovely area.
Took a little while to find, thinking more along the lines of small rather than extra small. TFTC!
Almost over thought this one again. But didn't... TFTC. It gave us the opportunity to explore
On a Easter break with family, finally had a stop-over in Orange. Checked the whole bridge and didn't have a luck.
In Orange overnight for work and decided to introduce some young cousins who live locally to the world of caching. A great morning with not a single DNF. Thanks to all the cache owners in town.
This was a quick find. TNLN TFTC

A great day to be out caching, thanks for bringing me to this lovely area Squick!
Bathurst to Orange
We have set up camp at the showground overnight. We completed the lake walk in the morning then onto the Gnoo Blast in the afternoon, finishing with a tiki tour of the country side before heading home.
Thanks for placing this cache Squick

11228. Headed up to the Orange region with AngelG27, Sol de Lune and specimenX ("FASS") for a fun-filled weekend of caching. Lots of caches found, a few not found, and a lot of laughs had as we toured around over 2 full days as far north as Wellington which resulted in 124 finds for me.
After finishing the GB Loop we headed over to do the Lake Walk/Ride Loop. After dropping off the car we walked the rest of the series. Quick find at GZ after a short out of order walk. Log signed, cache returned, and we were off to the next one.
Thanks again Squick !! Another enjoyable series !

Found as part of an Orange and surrounds geomission with fitzy_1965, AngelG27 & Sol de Lune (signed as FASS to save time & space) Top weather, great company and lots of laughs meant for an epic weekend of caching all round!
Did this one a little out of order but it was a quick nab by fitzy for us here [^]
Thanks for the hide, Squick

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX, Sol de Lune and I (logged as "FASS") headed from Canberra to Orange and surrounds for a caching blitz over the 30-31 July weekend. We logged around 1000kms in the Geo-Jeep, selecting those caches that Fitzy had not previously found. I scored around 130 caches for the trip. The visit was characterised by blue skies, very green paddocks, lots of water off and on the road, a fair amount of mud, and good company! Still plenty of caches to collect and scenic spots to explore on a return trip. Thanks to my fellow travellers for a fun weekend, and the COs for all their efforts in putting out and maintaining the caches.
34th for the day at 1005 (39th for the trip). Time to embark on another series by Squick. We did this one out of order, as it was near to #7. A quick find again. Thanks Squick for the series - favourite point for the series and the lovely (somewhat squishy) walk around this little gem of a lake!

My third day off an Easter camp caching holiday at Carcoar dam. Today I had gone towards Orange for a couple of power trails and the various caches along the way.
Thanks for the cache.

After a walk in Mount Canobolas Reserve we stopped at Lake Canobolas and collected as many caches we could find whilst doing the circuit walk.

A great place to rest run or cycle, fish or whatever. Thanks Squick for this cache. Last one thanks again for the series.
I made it back across the suspension bridge from #5 and detoured to find #16

We seem to have been following IF around for this series.
Many thanks to Squick - it's been fun and a great addition to our Orange visit.

Went to this one, then realise what the time was so had a very quick look for the prize without luck before going to get the geokid from school. Will attempt it again soon.
Brought my bike up from Canberra for a couple of days in Orange with my wife, and after riding the loop around the old race track, I headed over to give this one a go. A few drive bys to start with, but once at number 5, I hit this trail. Completed it in a little over an hour and all though I DNF'd number 9....all was good.
Enjoyed this ride a little more than the the race track, but only because of the views over the water and wildlife/bird life spotted while out there. A pleasant way to spend a bit of time......
Thanks Squick...another good fun series that I hope is around for a while. Fav point added for these ones as well.

I found this one on the way back from the suspension bridge. I inadvertently dislodged the cache as I was searching for it and it was a while before I noticed it lying on the ground. All good in the end though. SL TFTC
no luck with the last one.
Maybe we should try after a sunny week.
So it is not that muddy.
16:38. Logged it with Cachebox!

Sprung by a muggle lying down in the mud on a picnic rug reaching under the relevant object. Told him I had dropped my bracelet and he seemed to want to get away from us as fast as possible. Can't think why. Thanks for an exciting time!
Two people standing a looking at an uninspiring structure and one lying full length on a red rug. Had to look like we had escaped from Bloomfield. But a find is a find no matter what the muggles think. It was no day for walking anyway. Thanks Squick.
After tackling the Gnoo Blas series we thought that we would follow up with the Lake Walk/Ride set combined with a visit to the Pinnacle. Once again some enjoyable walks on another great autumn day. Thanks Squick for the effort you have put into setting up these two caching series. We are lodging a favourite here on behalf of the series.
Geo dad was straight on to this one. Thankyou for a great arvo, we had a ball. We still have to find #13, it was getting a bit dark and to many tree bases to search. Will go back and get it another day.
Find #16 of 16. We had a great day out. Enjoyed the the walk, especially the shady trees and the occasional breeze. It was a warm day. Thanks Squick for this set of caches.
Find #16 for a perfect score for the series. Giving this a favourite on behalf of the series. A pleasant day out with friends and some gentle exercise as we walked around the lake. I'm glad it wasn't in the really hot weather. TFTC.
This was another case of being glad to have a few in our group to search out all the possibilities and we eventually located the cache.
TFTC Squick and thank you for a very enjoyable day's caching

I found and logged this cache during a trip through the central west with my father Mr MR. He has encouraged me to log my finds on line. SL TFTC
Having forgotten to do cache #5 in this series, this was the last of those in the vicinity of the lake we did today. It blends in well but, luckily, I spotted it straightaway. Nice one, thank you Squick.
