Went to the Queensland for 10 day's, landing on the Goldcoast, picking up a car rental. We spent the first 4 days staying in a nice hotel in Surfers paradise, doing all the Theme parks and some caching... While at the theme parks we got to pat Dolphins, feed Tigers etc. Then we headed up to Australia Zoo, where we booked a Tiger wall, Which was amazing, after the day at the zoo, we headed to Harvey bay, for 4 day's before heading back to the Goldcoast to return car, and catch flight home. Really loved the new Lego store at Dreamworld, went back 3 times.Tftc
Over visiting from NZ and staying for a couple of days in Hervey Bay. Tiki-touring a round the local area and stopped off to look for this one. Amazed at the size of this cache - really nice to see, especially in suburbia. TFTC
Felt a bit uneasy entering the place but did and quickly had cache in hand but your story was very moving and am pleased to have shared it with you.
TFTC.

Thanks for sharing your story . We found this cache OK, fortunately there were no muggles about this a.m.
**# 17388** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another perfect warm winter day for a drive around Hervey Bay.
Not many muggles around and a good quick find here.
Thanks for the cache choppersrule,

The weather up here this afternoon is perfect, it was raining on our drive up but it soon disappeared when 4ando turned up. We love this ride along the esplanade and chose to come this way this afternoon because we are going to ride the other length tomorrow to get to lunch, can’t drink and drive or take motorised eskies and drive, but there aren’t any rules on drink and ride, well we hope not anyway.
We are always a bit hesitant about these caches, do they know, don’t they know, is someone going to come out and tell us to move on our way? Thankfully we found the cache pretty quickly and no one yelled at us ‘get out of here’. Then we read in the description that they actually do know.
Your Mum clearly loved hanging at great spots, great view of the ocean here we can see why she loved it.
We saw the big sign, but that too left us with some concerns…

Felt kind of intrusive going toward someone's property but it wasn't too bad. (Safe)
Found at 12:05 PM GAFF1.
We pulled up in the parking spot on the beach side and then assumed it would be around there, but a quick glance at the GPSr and we made a quick u turn and headed across the road to a recently vacated area. Would have been tricky to locate if the customers were still eating there, but I am sure mum would have let us search without any questions asked if she was there
Thanks choppersrule.

What a lovely little garden. Just right for a drink and rest on our cycle from Torquay. TFTC
Quick find whilst enjoying a walk along the shoreline. Took she'll and left June Canavan Foundation key ring. TFTC.
Thanks homemade, you were my first!!! It's 9pm so I felt a bit like a burglar but loved every second!!!
As with previous logs, I felt very uneasy looking for this one but it was a quick find thankfully. Lovely tribute to your mum. TFTC choppersrule
What a cool cache. We're up here for a few days visiting family, heading back today. Why not grab a few caches whilst I'm here.
Swapped a TB over, unfortunately there's two that are missing but that's life.
Great cache, great memories - deserves a favourite point

Bless ur sweet mother...lovely idea to commemorate her. We walked/cached our way to here on the beach from Torquay, almost 5k. Geogirl8 swapped in an eraser for 10 piece.
Travelling around Australia and currently staying in Hervey Bay, Queensland for a few days .
So very hot here at the moment. Its been airconditioned caravan or airconditioned car! BUT again today we changed that and decided to head out on the GeoBikes for a few hours. Well with more and more smilies we just kept going!
We managed to get home before the thunderstorms kicked in.

Hard to get too with roadworks on the esplanade. Would have stopped for a snack but had just had lunch. Lovely spot. TFTC
WOW! Defiantly felt a little intrusive for this one so I didn't really want to go rummaging around the garden. Found it eventually though very nice spot!
TFTC!
TFTC!
Be aware of the roadworks that are happening along this road! I was walking up the wrong side and had to cross through the construction!!!
Walking on the opposite side from the ocean would be best!
Found a geo buddy also! How cute!

Nice people were helpful, we were a little shy, because it looked very private. Thank you for showingand greetings from Rewo, team Rerowole, Bavaria.
Felt slightly suspect, as the cafe was closed, but newby Kiara found it for us!
Found this cache on our second go. On the first time around there was a couple of muggles sitting on top of it. So we continued on our way and come back later. Easy find, good spot for afternoon tea - but they were shut. TFTC.
