TFTC Hiddo quick easy find today on my way past here after work this morning..still keeping guard.
I'm pretty sure I knew which tree, after all I looked at all of them in the area, but think the water level was a bit too high to check as it would have required paddling to check it out
Another lunchtime find on my daily escape from the J word Cache was a bit exposed, added some barkoflage. TFTC
Today we were out to find a few geocaches around Herdsmen Lake on a beautiful sunny day.
Took a while to find but finally found it tucked away. Thanks for the hide.
That brings us to 293 finds now!
Cheers,
Nickag73

Bugger. Was doing the rounds of Herdy geocaches and too many muggles. Looked as inconspicuous as I could but gave up. Will be back.
Hiddo, the cache and log here are in good condition and we left as found. Never realized that there is such a maze of swamps and slowly running water through this area. Bird life and frogs abound. Thanks Hiddo.
Went for a walk at Lake Herdsmen yesterday. Did the circular track looking for Geocaches. At the turnoff to the lookout noticed what looked like a kids with the head smashed in. We commented on it the toy but did not realise that it was actually one of the geocahes that we were looking for. Wasn't until we looked at the images that we realised that it was this cache. Will need to be replaced and rehidden
Seems to be two caches at this location? One in tree and other at ground level...
What we found was definitely not a nano but it is what it is. Nice hide! TFTC!
Signed log but Tom seems to be missing a bit or two, when I found him he was just laying (quite exposed) on top of a ziploc bag containing the lop. Unfortunately I didn't have anything to offer more protection, but I tried to place him back with a bit more camo.
Day 2 of my return trip. Had to call it a night last time because it was getting dark. Started again today and found this one almost instantly. Tftc.
Den See umwandert und diesen Cache schnell gefunden. Besten Dank fürs Verstecken und greetings from Switzerland.
Out for a spot of geocaching with the geodaughter. TFTC. The logbook was underneath the item at GZ.
Out with the Geodad and grabbed whilst along our way. A little worried the security of the contents. Especially on a windy night. TFTC
Haha that is funny. Second cache around the lake today.beautiful scenery with lots of different birds. Reminds me of Holland. TFTC
Thank you! Met up with sabs20 for a new year's day cycle around Herdsman Lake. There weren't too many people about this morning, and we soon had the cache in hand.
Not what we were expecting to find! Our last one for our adventure today! Thank you for placing and maintaining such a wide variety of caches. There were some we missed, a few DNF's and unattempted and some temporarily disabled so we can come back another time and do it all again! Thanks Hiddo! TFTC
We are astonished what for a great landscape. We see never before so a lot of birds from every kind.
We think w e visit a zoo. The caches are mostly in a nice area in were good to find.
