No luck here today - I think the cache may have flown away...!!!! Hasn't had a find in almost a year. Thx anyway.
Had a good look but could not find anything that would be in plain sight. I usually like the plain sight ones, so it was slightly disappointing not being able to find this one. But oh well, I saw a couple of planes.
After 2 weeks traveling around New Zealand partly for the mega event last weekend it is time to head home to Sydney. But I couldn't resist a few more on the way!
No luck with this one today, I did find a likely looking hole but no cache in it. Oh well, thanks Bartfound.

Stopped off for a second look at this one as the CO had since replaced, but we made a thorough search here and couldn't spot it
Dropped in quickly before work to get one for the day. Did not find this last time when it was missing but a smiley for us today. TFTC.
Nice quick find for collecting our Favourite souvenir. Nice view but really cold wind this afternoon!
Thought I'd add this to my list of smilies for the day before returning my rental car. Unfortunately there was no cache hidden in plain/plane sight.
Second time stopping to look for this one after doing some caching at the reserve. First time it was dark but in broad daylight today and had no luck. Great view of the planes coming in - which is also a great excuse when the neighbour comes out to see what you're up to.
Unfortunately this is our 2nd dnf here. Last time we were using our phone and the grass was really long, we didn't find it. This time we have our gps and the grass has been mowed. We thought we'd find it no trouble, but again, unfortunately we could not find it. I think I found the place where it once was though and there is no sign of it. Such a cool view of the planes taking off here. TFTH.
On the way to the airport, had a look for this one. Managed to time it right to see an Emirates A380 land overhead. Wonderful. No luck finding the cache though. Will be back. Thanks anyway Bartfound
I'm pretty sure I found this one back in February 2014 but it seems I forgot to log it at the time. Checked today and it seems to be missing, well, not in it's intended place anyway.
A quick find around the airport while the kids and I waited for their mom to get back from her trip. This spot is pretty cool with the flight path right overhead. We got to watch one of the new Emirates Dreamliners take off which was pretty awesome. TFTC! #861
1.05pm - Have driven past this cache so many times so thought it was time today to get it. Busy over head today but no problems to find. SLTFTC
On tour in NZ! To safe time and space we signed with CG3 ( caching girls 3)!
Tftc and greetings from Austria

Took me a little while to find this as I was too fixated on the gps. Once I got over that and looked up I saw the cache.
I was lucky enough to have a plane come over as I was here, it was cool.
Thanks for the cache and the great plan spotting area.
I wish I had stayed longer as a much bigger plane went over while I was finding the caches down the road.

I decided to collect some caches from Puhinui Reserve but there was some event happening. The only thing left to do was to collect some caches on the way back out. This was a quick and easy find. TFTC!
Had called by and had a quick look a while back with no luck. Today, during a passing shower, found straight away. TFTC
After an early coffee, we loaded up the bikes and headed for Puhinui Reserve, the main aim was to find the 1/5 diff/terrain cache which is missing from both our D/T grids. Mission accomplished!
It was good to get on the quiet side road and not worry about cars racing by as you are trying to find somewhere to stop. Wasn't an instant find, we had to expand our search area. During that time, 2 large aircraft came over top of us, much to StreetWalker's delight.

While looking at the Geocache map spotted I had not logged this cache which we found when in Auckland for a wedding.
Found when heading to the airport (first of three) to drop Redants off for a Jetstar flight that was first delayed then later cancelled! Good spot for a cache.

Had fallen from where we suspect it supposed to be so have replaced it in cut out area
Forgot to log when I found it but I do remember how low the planes seemed-fantastic spot-tftc
On a lovely and warm day, Miss Davieland headed down to the airport area for some caching. Nice easy find. TFTC.

Nice quick stop on way home from playing mini golf. Up in Auckland for the long weekend from Rotorua. No planes flew overhead while we were here.

Thought the fence was electric so was very cautious lol. Good find w/ @anaung tftc
Decided to head out to Puhunui Reserve this afternoon with Mr NewlynFam (who is pretty much still a muggle, but will occasionally let me persuade him to come along). Stopped at this one on the way in.
Mr NewlynFam, who was driving, pulled up and "let" me go and find this one while he plane spotted. Quick and easy, just waiting to be found. A bit confused about the two containers, though? Nevertheless, log signed and off we went!

#196 Geokids are on school holidays and our adventure today took us to this area. Had to drive by upon initial approach because of muggles. Later grabbed in on the way back from reserve. Geogirl who was running hot today on finds got this one also.

After trying to find this once last year on a wet day, went back and there it was! Thanks for that!
Had to pick up some of the kids from Auckland airport today so decided to go up earlier and collect a few smileys. I had a go at this one at the end of last year - couldn't find it and was getting saturated with a rain shower so left it. Nice to pick up a former DNF, TFTC
Grabbing a few caches between showers. Made my way to GZ where the caches were quickly located. Given the wind here, returned to the car to do the paperwork and saw a few flybys while there. Both caches returned and away again. Thanks for the airport info and the placement of this cache Bartfound.
Goodo. Here mentoring a young person I work with. He wasn't very engaged, even though he was the one who wanted to go geocaching! On his phone the whole bloody time. Jeez. Nice spot though, and a plant cruised over as we were here. Cheers!
Not for me today, oh well, insufficient time and energy after early morning farewell to loved ones. Thanks anyway
Well that was pretty straightforward. Starship kids hospital plane flew in and some aussie plane, who really cares. Two containers?
Great spot. Have been to airport lookouts before but this spot is neat. Had a quick spot before travelling to the Naki. Tftc
My second attempt with more success this time now that the cache is in place!Tftc
Found the other day on a fruitless quest to area. Gps had me quite a way out so need to resort to a paf. Fortunately i know a Sickness Beneficiary with no life so thanks Lokky for hint. Pity it didn't help later in quest. Cheers V.
Out with SethRaven who suggested we stop for this one. Not quite what we were expecting. TFTC

Our chief spotter was quickly put to work and found the cache. We timed it well and saw a few big birds. TFTC
Took longer than it should have to find. Wasn't what we were expecting to find. Tftc
Saw a few planes fly over as we stopped here including the huge A380. Nice quick find. Thanks
thanks for note Vamber went back out there today to sign of one of the international multi's and of corse take another look for this and yes it is definatly there or should I say the new container or 2 of them lol as I had heard about this cache and was looking for the old comoed nano, so yes I would say ignore the hint of what to look for on this and just use your geosence cords pretty good for me, TFTC
Visited this cache, while introducing a muggle friend to the game on the 7th June -- the original container has flown away, but the replacement container is still there! Co-ords were just a few metres out.
Up from New Plymouth for the weekend to grab a few caches on my to-do list. This wasn't one of them, but I couldn't drive by without a quick P&G. Unfortunately it was not to be, and this was my first DNF after ten finds. tihS happens
Kw12 and I spent a while looking for this one, but even after widening the search still no luck even though we think we found the hidding spot
Found it after a bit of searching. Did get to see a few planes go overhead. Thanks!

Found this one on our way to the event being held today. Had a close encounter with a large plane while signing the log TFTC
Arrived at GZ to find the McCutcheon Clan already searching so joined in. Cache was eventually found about 8m away according to my GPS. For some reason there were 2 logs to sign, but just signed one
after a DNF last time we expanded out search this time and came up with the goods, co-ords were about 9m out for us, but at least we found it this time
Out with Terra Girl finding some good ones. Great fun!
Thanks for the cache!
