Get some caches in the Barossa on the way home after doing a bit of shopping in Elizabeth. Manage to put up with the showery weather and was also very cold. TFTCEnjoyed watching the McLeod's Daughters series
Found with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip. Day 2 of our assault on The Barossa Trail, and picking up others as they present. Thanks for your cache SnappyTomCats.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Nuriootpa to cache the surrounds. Tackling the Geo-Art for the second day in beautiful autumn weather and picking up random caches along the way. Thanks SnappyTomCats
Returning home after a bit of country fresh air, some dancing and spending time with my mate RuntyRob. I had been given a TB that wanted to visit the Droves Run and this cache was the closest I could get, so I put it in the cache.A perfect day for a country drive to find a few caches.TFTC SnappyTomCats Keep smiling
Travelling with stensbye. We are in Adelaide for the Megaevent. We signed with TA. Thank you for the cache.
Funn # 26 738This cache: Since i have been streaming McClauds Daughters, all episodes!,i just had to visit this cache!, when i finally had a go to Australia, and Adelaide for the Mega-event.I think i recognized the road, but, im guessing there are plenty of similar roads all over Australia! Also in the TV-serie, you get the impression that the main road is a lot smaller....But, nice to be here!It should be a cache in Gungellan also....Anyway, we found the cache easily, signed as TA = Team Avensis, wich is eterg and me all these days in Australia, visiting all the way from Norway!Thank you very much for this cache!Greetings from Norway!
Found today while out caching with Jamesta18 on our anniversary weekend run We decided to pull over and grab this one on our way home McLeod's Daughters was my favourite tv show back in the day good memories Kingsford looks amazing after the renovations TFTC
Quick roadside find down a road with a lovely view. Found on an anniversary cache run with KylieSmiley Tftc
Out and about the Barossa with uni and Medusa and southern cross caching. .. Uni riding the one wheeler, me on an old shonky treadly and SXC navigating by star light.
Found over 100 before lunch and trying to stay focused on the caching rather than the wineries and produce but it's difficult.
Thanks for the cache.

A nice quick find.
I found your D1.5/T1.5 Small Traditional called Drovers Run on 31 December 2022. It was find #17431 for me. Thank you SnappyTomCats for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of South Australia.

It was time for another big assault on solved puzzles by members of the Befuddled Puzzle solving group. A big new geo art was published and the members started solving. Time to go and get them all if possible. A big group of brisal5, Anymules Blackadders, Astro and S.A. Sewer Rats (BABAS) for short set out for the Barossa. There was a log of quick finds, but there was also pole fishing, tree climbing, [^] ladder climbing and despite a 6 meter ladder - ladder climbing ending in getting off the top of the ladder and still climbing! Surprisingly we managed to find them all including a couple of FTFs. Being so new all were still in good condition so Generic logs for all.
Quick find here. Impressive gates. Grabbed a TB
***Thanks SnappyTomCats for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Found on the way home after spending a few days and $$$ in the riverland. Interesting place and also interesting to find TB8nrd1 which was not linked to the cache and had no logs since 12/8/19. Hopefully it's ok to "grab" it from previous cacher and move it along. TFTC!
Beautiful morning for geocaching. Decided this was the location to drop off the FTF Micro Geo-Award trackable who has been with me for the last 3 weeks, 2000+kms & 80 finds. Good luck little guy.
The last day in the Barossa with BettyBoo3747 and the geodoggies.
The weather was wet, wet, wet! It was a traveling day for us - off to Tailem Bend.
Collected a few caches along the way.
Having never seen the TV show, I didn't recognize either the name or the location.
I probably would have recognize the cache when I saw it, but I have to admit BB found it.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19995. Day 13 of our holiday in SA and today is a travelling day - moving along from Tanunda to Tailem Bend. Absolutely shocking weather and gale force winds to content with on the journey so we only stopped for three caches along the way.
Second stop for the day and Rob was searching one side of the road and coming up empty-handed. I swapped over and went straight to the place I thought it would be and Bingo there it was. Hadn't watched Drovers Run but that is an interesting bit of information. I did note that lettering seemed to have been removed from the stone entrance. Would have been good to get a glimpse of the homestead.
Thanks SnappyTomCats

Never saw a single episode! By the time this came out, I had pretty much given up on television, and that was before I discovered geocaching too. Today is a fantastic day for caching with spring in the air and 23°C in Gawler. It would be interesting to see the river views from the homestead. Thanks for bringing me here SnappyTomCats.
Nice easy find ty. Container is looking a little aged but all is till well inside.TFTC
Quick find after lunch at the Gungellan Hotel with my neighbour. Thanks for bringing us out this way. TNLNSL TFTC

Holiday time, a week in the Flinders Rangers with sir_spectre and Jacknor. We had lots of fun, walk and of course found some caches. This was our first stop, as Jacknor was keen to visit here.

First find of the holiday. It turns out jacknor watches this tv series and wanted to find this cache. Quick find.
Day 1
found with Mogni and Jacknor. We where heading up Carrieton for a couple of days and then on to the Flinders Rangers for 5 days. The plan was to find as many of the church multi's as we could going up and then bright and early the next day head off to the " Bendleby Ranges " 4 x 4 tracks. Then clear the next section of multi's between Carrieton and Rawnsley Station and of course a few stray trads that would help jacknor's jasper grid. A straight week of over 30 degrees meant less hiking than planned but we still got to the top of Rawnsley Bluff as well as some other smaller hikes. The Rawnsley station 4 x 4 track was completed and by then it was time to decamp and start the drive home. Stopped at orroroo and cleared the town out before going back to the church multi grind.

Always wondered where this was tftc. Think I need to look in to coming and staying here if they still do it
Finding a few caches today was a must... as you only get the chance every 4 years Heading home from Nuri, we turned off for a little caching detour Being cautious for snakes, it was found in the second place we looked. TFTC!
So Rex the Geohound was tortured all night by a possum right outside the tent. I think it was enjoying taunting him. Rex used to be a farm dog so he is programmed to kill and now he has moved to the city he would like to target possums. He has been honing his tree climbing skills and loves the smell of possums. He jumped up and down on us all night trying to persuade us to let him out to attempt the kill. Obviously we thought this wouldn't go down too well at the camp site so instead he just kept himself and us awake for most of the night...
This meant we were pretty slow off the mark today. We were supposed to be leaving the camp by 9am but this became 10am. It was a glorious morning for brekkie on the waters edge, another day that felt great to be alive.
Still managed to find most of our targeted caches, we had one dnf and replaced one in Renmark. We did manage to convert 7 previous dnfs into finds which was fab.
We had another super picnic on the bike wherigo series and stopped off for ice creams in Nuriootpa on the way home.
Again no snakes spotted, which is always good if you are me. Hound spent a lot of the time sleeping in the car taking over my seat which meant for an uncomfortable day.
It wasn't a big numbers day but still enjoyable in the warmth of the Spring sunshine.
Last find for the day. The geohusband was completely over it by the time we got to this one. TFTC SnappyTomCats interesting spot, don't think I have ever watched the show but have heard of it.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Staying for the week in Nuriootpa with our friends SnappyTomCats, they offered to take us for a day of caching, after skuzzybear's event in Gawler.
Now, Mrs D is a member of the "MacLeod's Daughters Tragic Club" so could not resist a visit to this location. Mr D found the hide, then Mrs STC took us on some back route, which looked rather familiar to those used in the series, and we could just, only just see part of the house peeking from behind some trees. Ohhhhhhh! Thanks Mrs STC.
And thanks to SnappyTomCats for the hide. Favorite point cos I love the series.

Now if I want a prickle in my tickle, I only have to wait another month and the little monster growing near cache will be perfect. Geopup went to the most obvious place first then lost interest after being attacked by a rampant prickle plant... !!! Cache clean, dry and log in great condition. TYFTC SLTNLN
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Now camped in Tanunda. Today we headed into Gawler to visit Uncle Dan and picked up a few caches whilst in the area. Pretty good day with it reaching 14degrees and next to no rain. Not too windy either.
16 but 2 . We managed to find your cache.
Mrs Felix was definitely a fan! But alas the show has ended and the homestead can't be seen.

I decided to take a drive to Barossa Valley to collect a few caches. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, and not many people around, possibly because of a working day. I discovered a few lovely places along the way, thank you for bringing me out here!!
Found this one on a weekend we were staying at the Kingsford Homestead. Imagine my delight when there was a cache related to McLeods Daughters near the gates.
After meeting actors from the show today we thought we would stop past to grab this cache. Quick find. Tftc
Lots of cool swaps. Cache in good condition. Thank you, Snappy Tom!
