Just don’t have the spare time for cache maintenance these days, someone else can have the area. Sick of this one missing all the time.
I'm changing this log from found to a write note for a favour for the cache owner. After spending an hour in the tree I'd hope to find this little beauty but sadly ... I'm either cache blind or little egg has grown to a Moltress (pokemon bird) or similar and flown away.
I do intend to return as soon as said CO has returned to replace my egg. Or the bird re-lays an egg. I'm not sure which comes first.....
Thanks for the fun any ways.

This cache may not be there but I have log as found and have proof of me climbing tree. Co will confirm.
Looks like it has gone again (sigh). Will need to look at a replacement soon.
Sorry FBS but not a find.
Sorry FBS but not a find.
Well the man of the group was apprehensive but the 5 women encouraged him and guided him as all women do. CIH
Frazel asked me to follow him to a geo. Can you do this. No but I can guide you. He did it. Yes signed log.
Tried this late at night once before... Located the cache but couldn't quite get to it... Tried again today CIH WOOHOO
Came here once before but as it was late at night was a bit unsure so decided to Come back here during the day with geo family, group discussion occurred but wasn't long before CIH. Great camo

In the area, with some time up my sleeve... it's time to find some caches.
What a cool cache this one it. Beautiful tree, and a fun find. Favorite point from me.
Cheers

On a brilliant autumn Saturday, went for a cyclo-caching tour around Concorde. Day's tally, 13 Finds 1 DNF.

3rd find of the day and what a doosie!
Spotted the hide straight away. Then the fun part.
There are trees and there are nice climbing trees.
This is an Egg-ceptionally Egg-cellent fun climbing tree to the Egg-streme.
Left my pencil down below so had to do the climb twice - more fun!
TFTC KRS ... please accept another FP

Found this cache while out for the afternoon with Brewmaker in search of the Rhodes Scholar series and some other nearby caches (in between showers).
We parked the car nearby and headed towards gz. At first we weren't sure where the cache was. I thought it would be in one spot, but no. Then Brewmaker looked further away and saw it there. What - that's impossible! But using teamwork we managed to access the cache, just as it started to rain. Agh. The rating on this one could definitely be higher as it is not an easy find. Signed the log and replaced it as found. Very clever. TFTC

Wow! Not a quick park and grab, unless you can fly! So up we went and of course as I was attempting the grab, the rain and wind nearly blew me and the log away. Careful manouvering of the various items in the cache made signing and replacing a slow process. But completed it correctly in the end.
Now to get back down! I love a challenge and answered it the best way possible. TFTC KRS. A FP from Brew for the effort to place it. But would love to see you do it in person too one day!!

Wow... this was way higher than I thought. Had to get tree climbing kids to scale, whilst old man took a photo of cache log from the ground. Tftc.
A "Found it" log from 18/01 has been deleted. Sighting the outer container from below DOES NOT constitute a find; it's not even a sighting of the true cache! Only signing the log counts. Finds on high terrain caches are earned by braving the high terrain.
(I did make some exceptions last March because I had been tardy with maintenance, but now it's up and running, no more exceptions).
(I did make some exceptions last March because I had been tardy with maintenance, but now it's up and running, no more exceptions).
However, I did not do any climbing. That may have been my problem. just wasn't feeling confident.
I've started collecting a few items to put together to rebuild this cache, so hope to have it up and running in next few weeks.
Found it but unfortunately it was just the top and the log was no where to be found. Our 11 year old really struggled to get that high too. Regards JordanandMichelle
Needs to be fixed. I'll allow the recent finds of "just the top half" of the outer camo to stand, seeing as the proper inner cache, log, and bottom of the outer container have gone missing and it's my slack effort in not fixing when it was first reported.
But from today, until I have fixed the cache and re-enabled it, any extra finds will not count. Hopefully this will only be for a little while.

At least I found part of it. The top half of the container was swinging in the breeze, but the rest of it (and the log) were nowhere in sight. Had fun climbing the tree anyway. Some of us never grow up.
Last time I was here it was too busy to attempt. I came in early this morning to avoid the crowds. I climbed the tree the hard way as a cicada was shedding from its shell and I didn't want to disturb it only to find the bottom half of the cache and its contents missing. Disappointed I climbed back down again and prepared to leave.I turned around however to find the missing pieces on the group. SL and climbed back up the tree to replace. Thanks
Incredible! This was just so much fun, really enjoyed myself. Half of the "protective" cache camo (if you get what I mean) was hanging quite obviously out of the main part, so I've put it back together as I don't want to draw attention to the cache. Thanks for the best cache I've had in a long time! Favourite point coming your way
Oh the things we do for geocaching. Geohusband was egg-cited to attempt to retrieve the cache. Knowing the area so well and being a popular spot for picnics on weekends we set off early in the morning to GZ. Geohusband climb to success without any incidence and signed the log. TFTC.
Found it. Couldn't climb up due to injury. Will be back with geo-friend with more monkey skill.
What a feat - geoson was up in no time but could not reach it. Geodaughter tossed him a stick which did the trick. However in the interim Geodad had scaled the tree just in time to sign the log. Geomum logged the log - a team team effort. Thanks for this fun cache.
What task to give a 61 year old!! The hardest thing was to get off the ground but once on the first branch the ascent was easily worked out.
But.................. when I separated the egg it was full of black ants and eggs, not a pleasant surprise when you are 20' up a tree hanging on to the tree trunk with one arm and no glasses on because you had removed them for the climb.
I managed to extract the log, shake the freeloaders out, do the legals and replace the container before the easy descent. All this with no bites.

Yelyac & I returned to Egg-cellent to give it some long overdue maintenance. New camo (until the birds shred it again). An internal bison. 2 bags should mean the log should be dry more often (it was dry today). Sevabo and skyejam met us while we did the maintenance so they could sign the log - please note this is not a regular service offering! Back up in place - cache on!

Finally signed the log today and this was my 2nd attempt. luckily the owner was there for maintenance so he got the cache for me. It was a favour for us nice to meet you again and Yelyac too.
Today it was a hot and sunny day. sevabo and I came here for second time this time and we met the owner while they are doing this maintenance. It was retrieved by the owner for us. Thank you Kid Ron Satan and Yelcay for bringing us here again. This are a favourite from us.
Saw the cache, but couldnt get it as people were in the resturant right infront of me. Also there were two guys on the foreshore. To many muggles for me
Tftc, so found it but wasn't able to fill in the log. I stood at the bottom of the tree, grabbed the first branch about to start my climb when the muggle wife, holding geo baby for blackmail, forbid me from climbing the tree. Took a photo while looking longingly at the cache.
Drove all the way out to Rhodes to visit the Nikon head office to get my DSLR serviced, turns out they don't open on Saturdays which is contrary to the information on their website... Not to waste my Saturday morning driving out this way, I decided to go find some caches.
Spotting the GZ was easy, though spotting the cache container was rather difficult. Thankfully the GZ was quite, there was an engagment party at Oliveto's though everyone seemed to be preoccupied inside. Figuring the cache would be somewhere high in the tree I climbed the tree to see if I could better spot the cache. Upon reaching a comfortable spot, I heard someone below yell out "Hey!". Looking down it seems as though a few muggles from the engagement party had noticed that I was climbing the tree and was curious as to what I was doing and then to my surprise, they proceeded to point at the cache container in the tree which I had not yet spotted and asked if that was what I was looking for. After explaining to them what Geocaching is, one of them noted that they had friends that also Geocache. One of them also helped me retrieve the cache and upon opening the container, it practically exploded with infested ants that eating away at the gunk inside. I quickly signed the log, returned the cache and said bye to the muggles and proceeded to the next cache in the area.

geo kid tried to climb but her legs were to short so l had to climb. it was a bit hard to climb when l was trying to find cache geo kid said its up there and when i looked there i thought how do i get up?and when i opened the egg there was lots of ants so we didn't sign.TFTC
This one is a bit out of my area but I do drive past here occasionally. Most days there's not the time for an arboreal adventures but today I thought I'd finally give this one a go. Plenty of parking although the restaurant looked busy - what a life - eating out for lunch on a Tuesday - some of us have to work. Luckily I can intersperse hard labour with climbing trees occasionally. I was a bit reticent to get started but once going the old skills came back along with various old injuries to the shoulders. Got there and into a safe position then managed to do the duties. Wonderful to be out of sight here. All good.
Thanks!
Favourite for the fun.

Guys bring your pen!!! I forgot to do so then i have to bring it down and place it back
Finally got this one on the third attempt.
Getting cooler and close to dark so most folks had headed off or were some distance from the spot.
Made the precarious climb, did the retrieve and then back to ground level for the sign. Quite well hidden from everyone once you're up there.
Some gunk in the egg but log is ok.
Made a precarious replacement and then I was off again.
What is it with high terrain ones today...
Thanks for the cache!

Came past this one twice today after walking the Kokoda memorial in full.
Both times there were muggles camped at the base of the tree so although it could be seen, no luck again this time.
Might try after hours in future.

Currently on a course at HP nearby, snuck down here on Monday during lunch. Cache was easily spotted however without a pen I left it until later in the week. With pen in hand I ventured down today, to find the lining of the cache on the ground. Looking up the cache was still intact, so I grabbed the lining and headed up. Replaced lining and signed log, T4TC and exercise
2/6/15. 9:43 AM.
Some long overdue maintenance - nest is properly lined, egg is in place with a new dry log. Off to look for the new Concord Library cache next. Cache on!

Spotted this one from ground level but after getting up there somehow I lost sight of it for a few moments. Cracked open the cache but no log to sign.

Higher than I expected it to be! Tffc Find #21- The V Amigos - 23 May 2015 4:13PM
I was surprised to get to this so easily but unfortunatey there was nothing to sign. The "weight" has turned to pink mush and is surrounded by wet dirt in the red part. Perhaps it's suffered an attack.
Nice spot for a hide which was just challenging enough. Quite a few muggles passed below, unaware of my activity.
Thanks KRS

Well there it is, my 999th find. This one is definitely due to geoboyfriend - although I was first to spot it, he was the one to get CIH. The log is really wet, so I just signed with SBMT. My last cache on Aussie mainland, for a week or so anyway. Woohoo!
A quick park and grab on the way to Olympic Park. A nice easy climb too. Log was very wet but able to sign.

Didn't look at any earlier logs and searched for awhile with a small Arlec torch without Luck. No glasses with me, so viewed terrain and realised what was involved. Up I went, actually went too far up as I spotted the frame first before that dangling bit.
Back to the right elevation and now the pen started to work but died on me. Photo taken of the log. Thanks for getting the blood pumping RKS and Y.

#1514 (1 of 2 today)
Well, I'd looked at this one a while ago, and thought it was well out of my reach. But since geocaching has got me into many spots I thought I could never get.
So after dropping Geoson #2 at Rhodes for work this morning, I moseyed on over for another look to see how I felt...
It didn't look the same as it did last time I was here - part of the container is missing and as a result the cache is a little lower than it was. Hmmm, I think I can make that!
A few people around but none close enough to worry about, and the nearby playground was empty.
So up I went.
There was one branch that at different moments during my climb was both a blessing and a curse. But slow and steady got me within grabbing distance.
CIH!
I must say, if the cache was in its proper position it might be a bit too hairy for me, but I didn't have to test that theory today.
The paper log was damp but signable. Unfortunately, I didn't have a small ziplock on me as I signed, and I wasn't going to do a second trip.
A favourite for pushing my boundaries. Again!

Found at 2:12pm.
I made one visit here early on last year when first published, the cache had either dropped or been muggled so today was a good chance to capitalize. I knew where to go, not that there are many avenues but I'm glad it didn't prove too much of a climb given I was in thongs.
I spotted the cache and carefully extracted its contents.
I was unable to sign the log as it was somewhere between damp and soaked, this may need owner intervention. Unfortunately I had nothing on me at all that could have replaced the log.
Thanks for the cache KRS.

Night caching run of the Concord area, amazing how cache's can quickly build up over a year or so. Glad to see the Inner West finally being populated with caches!
Found relatively quickly and did the log duties with plenty of mozzies buzzing around on the humid night!
Love the uniqueness about this cache, always love having to make a scramble to a cache.

Thanks KRS for some stretching exercise.
I thought I could do it without going to high. I got the chain and gave it a jiggle only to blow it and watch the log fall to the ground. Oh dear, Nana Nel said now I don't have to climb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Was it blackmail? I got the log back without having to return to the ground but it had a signature that wasn't there when we arrived. Added mine, climbed the extra level and put everything back together.

Easy find, but hard to reach! Dropped the cache twice because the egg container easily splits. All in all its a very nice climb. Thanks for that (:
Promised the CO that I would sign the log next time I was passing once the cache was replaced. Found myself in the area and added my name as promised. TFTC Kid Ron Satan.
Parking was horrendous around here today, seems there was an end of year party going on at the restaurant.
Once at the correct level I tried to take a shortcut only to have the cache break apart and scatter itself all about! So I had to start all over again... How the heck this one doesn't get muggled is beyond me!

Christmas shopping at nearby Ikea so picked this up on the way in. Park was pretty quiet. Parked pretty much in front and Mrs A spotted the large nest straight away. Seems the birds have not been that busy this winter and have gone for a minimalist look for this seasons chicks. Lucky they laid an egg big enough not to fall through the nest. A quick climb up and we signed the new log in first place. Thanks KRS and Yelyac!
Back up and running with a new, namesake container, now a small.
A couple of new additional attachments should keep it in place.
There's a small, inner container - no need to open this, it's just there to give the cache some weight for windy days.
I noticed a layer of camo was missing when I replaced the cache today, so I'll come back with some new camo in the next few days. In the meantime, this just means the cache should be easier to spot, but hopefully not by muggles.
Cache on!

#2357 - 17:00; Found myself in Sydney on a flying trip with the geohoney, geoteen and friend. While they undertook some retail therapy, I headed out to pick up a nearby multi I had on the 'to do' list to fill a hole in the month placed calendar. After fulfilling the original mission, saw this one was quite near to where I was parked, but was curious about the terrain rating. As I closed in on GZ, I realised what I was in for and after avoiding the gaze of some muggles gathering nearby for the restaurant, spotted the hide and headed on up there. I took a photo from on high as proof of the find as the cache and log appeared to have flown the nest. Looking forward to signing the log on my next visit. TFTC Kid Ron Satan
24/06/14. 9:57 AM. Cache was missing. There's now a temporary mint tin in place until I can find something more suitable.
Was fun climbing all the same. Ill come back with more time to spare next time. Found the hanging basket but its not in that
11/05/14. 3:21 PM. I was here a week or so ago and noticed that part of the camo was missing. So I came back today and added some more. Cache on!
Spotted this months ago but too difficult for me.
