Reperio 09:35Day 3 of our Wagga Wagga trip, and Master Vitruvius and I started the day out with a FTF, followed by a drive out to Uranquinty and The Rock. Mostly every cache was found in good condition, and for the third day in a row, had a fantastic day out caching. It had been a while since I last visited this track, and I was thwarted by heavy rain and a boggy trail last time. Today it was a similar feeling with recent rain, but this time we managed to navigate around the heavy bogged sections to find the remaining caches along here. Staying at Henty Showgrounds and came up here looking at doing the caches on Noskes/Braithwaites Lane, however we were stopped by a large fallen tree from the South and a couple of washouts from the North. Will need to revisit after it all dries out.

We looked around The Rock and managed to grab the Lab caches and a few trads. Will need to come back tomorrow to finish off the others along Bullenbong Road. A reasonably sucsessful day with only a couple of DNF's.

We had this series in our sights when we were here recently but so many caches and so little time meant it didn't get done. Today we came to ride the series, or as much as possible. Not a successful start.. If it was where MrG thinks, that part is missing. But we could be wrong.

Definitely not the Olympic Way, but we didn’t need to worry about stopping in traffic, and didn’t even get off the road to park for this one!
GPSr was not kind taking us some 8metres away today but with the hint we eventually found it.
A well manufactured hide that blended in well.

Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well designed and hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks baby&Mrs gopher for the cache.

Headed to Wagga for the weekend with PelDroedGwin.

The stock route was a must as it’s so different from the urban caching I’m used to in Sydney

Super dooper cool cache. Sneaky sneaky sneaky. A fav for me. Thanks for the cache.

A plan was hatched with fitzy_1965, Albida33, Minniek, GLISS! and cosmonaut97 to head down south and tackle The Rock. We have had our eye on a Jasmer down this way for awhile and with the new AL’s and some other great series in the area it was time for a visit!!

It was an absolutely fantastic weekend with some great caching (and some epic adventure) and we were so spoilt by the local hospitality from Baby&MrsGopher.

05-Sep-20
A weekend away with Minniek, fitzy_1965, nibletricecakes, albida33 and Cosmonaut97 at The Rock. After climbing Kengal, it was off for the 4WD trail. As the driver of one of the cars, this was GREAT fun! This cache was "just one more" before finishing off for the day. Thanks for the fun BMG.

Staying at The Rock this weekend with fitzy_1965, Albida33, nibletricecakes, GLISS! and cosmonaut97.

After conquering Kengal, and a bit of afternoon tea in our bellies, we all headed out to do part of the bMg trail.

Great fun had on the 4wd track. All caches were found quickly and in good condition.

Thanks baby&Mrs gopher

Thanks heaps for the series of caches Baby & Mrs Gopher, This was quite an enjoyable bike ride through the bush lands, and to mix it up with some walking areas too where the bike just couldn't go. Some other guys were trying to pull out their bogged 4wd's which was interesting to watch for awhile. Thanks for the series was really enjoyable!. Looking forward to some more!

TFTC Baby and Mrs Gopher, We have had sync issues from app today so log is a little late. The cache started to break as I returned it to is location. It will need repairing or replacing.

Cut and paste section

Below is a blurb about us
We are trying to get a badge ,the author ,from project GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to get badges for adding photos to our found logs .
We started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full-time, living in a caravan, caching fits in well with this lifestyle. It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone. When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there in order to get the caches we want.

Trackables that we have had for a while will be moved on.
We are in Wagga for a few days and will try to increase our find numbers. Thanks to all CO for placement and maintenance of caches.

TFTC,
Back in Sydney and using my time to log caches we completed on our forced return to home base.
We had lunch at the Drovers Virtual GC88YXF and came to this fantastic power trail. The CO had advised us to drop the van at the start but I believed I new better and went in about 12 caches before Nana told me that we had gone far enough. Left the van and continued, end of paste.
Easy going here.

After arriving from The Murray River playing golf, decided to do some of this series, started with caravan on, then the road got a bit hairy. Found the one after a little search, good hide. Stamped log and replaced. Thanks to baby&Mrs gopher for this great series.

Good find. If you're new to geocaching it's a good little tricky one ️

29-Feb-20
With the leap day on a weekend it was the opportunity to collect as many caches on the day as I could for future challenges (and because I could). I attended the Event in Albury, got the Virtual in Henty and then a second event in The Rock so was off to a good start. After taking up the suggestion if the local pool the geokids were satisfied with their trip (they also got an ice cream later) it was then time to get some caches. In the end no DNFs which is always positive and 17 Trads, 2 puzzles, 1 multi and 4 adventure labs (though they log a day earlier) - couldn’t get the final one (or the puzzle) as the duck races were at the beach and there were a million people there!

After the event at the COs house I thought I better get one or two of their caches. These ones have been beckoning for a while but I only attempted the first two today - the entire series might need to be done by 2FD (2 foot drive) as the geomobile would be in trouble here. This one took longer than it should have but got there in the end.

An impromptu trip up to The Rock today for a few caches that have been on my agenda for some time.
After turning off the main drag I headed to the stock route and this was the first of the day.
After a quick bite to eat at GZ a search was made. With the clue in mind I fumbled around for a short time before coming up with the goods.
SL at 12 noon. Well done! A clever hide and the cache is all ok.
A nice little spot to stop over before heading further along the track.

Well I sent Geo son Out with two grown up Chauffers (@LilDonnasAdventure ) today to grab some caches we needed. They took it off road down the bMg trail to collect what we had not already collected. They even went 4 wheel driving, train spotting and called in to check in on the CO’s as well.

Thanks bMg for placing this cache for us and others to find. =)

Out and about for a drive today with [@AngusnmumyAdventures](http://coord.info/PRRD6GG) Geo three was with us from this crew helping find them. Took it off road down the bMg trail to collect what we had not already collected. We also went 4 wheel driving, train spotting and called in to check in on the CO’s as well.

No this is not the Olympic way but not for from it. It does depend if you want to be on the black stuff or like to go off road driving, much more fun, we enjoy it more.

Took longer than should have to find this one, a little trick, we just did not open our eyes up right. All was good with this cache.

Recovered it, tagged it, re-established it, then on our way, now logged it

Thanks bMg for this cache, Lil Donna & co

Found at 19, am GAFF1.
First cache for the day after a big day yesterday which included the "spill a bottle of wine over the laptop" incident Sad resulting in us having to buy a new laptop [B)]
We weren't going to do this cache as it was just a 1.5/1.5, but we stopped as it looked like a lovely setting. Took a while looking around as there were quite a few possibilities for a cache hide, but then for no particular reason, p-pprass looked in a little nook and there was a very interesting hide! Well done - would have given this an FP if it had been rated a bit higher Razz
Thanks baby&Mrs gopher

Today’s plan had an UPSIDE- I ditched the bike, it’s inbetween rain bands, and to collect the series was a success - all were placed in great spots and in good nik- that is UNTIL it got dark and fallen trees and no track to speak of had me turn around. Turned this arvo episode of caching into a memorable EPIC for this little Xtrail (sorry geomobile- I’ll sort the undercarriage tomorrow ) As daughter says ‘boredom’s’ not in my vocabulary. ! Back on the bitumen, found a coffee at Henty and can say TFTC and the fun!

08-Apr-19
The local CO's kindly offered to show us their 4WD skills which are very good. I am not sure if I would have been as calm if hubby was driving. Now I am not saying that hubby is not a good driver but local knowledge of the tracks I feel helped a heap.
The caches that we found were all varied, the hides, containers and terrain were different and all cache containers contained swag which we added to in some of them.
We apologise for the generic logs, for us writing a generic log does not mean that any of the caches have less meaning for us and does not take away our appreciation of the effort that CO's go to to place caches for our enjoyment. SL TFTC

Quick grab on our souvenir adventure - chasing great caches with lots of favourite points today. Found by our youngest. Great hide! 1st find after a delicious lunch in town. Tftc

After a full start which found us heading down the wrong railway line we backtracked after checking the GPS. No time we found ourselves at GZ and quickly began searching. It wasn’t long before I spotted a very interesting object which turned out to be the cache. At your favourite point thanks

An overnight at The Rock stopping at the recreation grounds
Early morning before leaving town we wanted to complete a couple of caches that we have had a DNF on while on previous visits.
I can't believe we had overlooked this before, even with extra hints fromthe CO we still had trouble.
Worth a FP.
Found numerous caches types & an assortment of sizes in some great locations.
Thanks for placing this cache baby&Mrs gopher

I’ve always found The Rock a fascinating geological structure. Today we stopped just at the base of it, but one day I’d like to come back and explore the area. The rusty old car attracted the attention of my Driver. We both searched the vehicle relics until we almost gave up and started back towards the car. I, as I often do, went back and checked one last spot I hadn’t searched before and found it! Phew, my first cache in NSW for the day. Clever hiding spot!

With the day off work, I decided on making way out to ‘The Rock’ again to attempt the BMG trail plus a few lone caches along the way. It took three hours to complete the trail due to the amount of tree branches, detours and soil erosion on the track. This caused me to drive at a snail pace making sure that nothing happened to me or my car. Out of the 31 caches I attempted, I made 31 finds today Big Grin and I also revisited another cache along the way. Smile Today was full of different hides, challenges and fun. It also added to my Fizzy Grid (D/T), Jasmer Grid (Hidden Month) and Hidden Day Grid on ‘Project GC’ meaning I am closer to finishing them. TB visit on all caches and on some of the smaller logbook/sheets I signed as 1/10/18 JM. I would like to thank ‘baby&Mrs gopher’ for all the caches I found today and for the fun and challenges that came along with them. TFTC’s! Big Grin

Now time to start the trail. Yes, it is certainly NOT the Olympic Way. A quick find here and onto the next one. TFTC

Super excited on our first day on the road as we head to the Queensland Muster in Barcaldine. With plans to cache all the way as we catch up with family and fellow cachers , exploring new territory as we go.
This series caught our eye on our last visit to the area so it was put on the “must do list” to hit as our first NSW caches on approach to Wagga.
Starting at “Perhaps Not the Olympic Way” which of coarse it wasn’t “quite” as smooth we worked our way down to the end without incident . The mini lakes were avoided with chicken tracks when possible otherwise the stench of stagnant water filled the car as we drove through the others. Gullies, ruts and potholes were negotiated with care as a fun time was had on this great adventure seeking out treasure in the bush.
This cache had us going for awhile until one half of the team spotted the well camouflaged hide in a location we hadn’t searched. Wow very clever, well played. A favourite for the hide.

Thanks baby&Mrs gopher for placing these caches and maintaining them for everybody’s enjoyment.

All in all, another fun day with Indianagleeson red leader and fox 2 out exploring this great area!

This Log is repetitive for all the baby & Mrs Gopher Caches I found this day, apart from the "Baby's Revenge" DNF.
left Wodonga around Middday Sat 14th July. Turned into a beautiful sunny winters day after the morning chill.
Most importantly ...THANKS Mrs Gopher for all the placed and maintained Caches. I had a ball along the old Stock Route. Didn't dare go any further south of final cache (Lockhart Road) Too washed out for my 4wd, bottomed out in one area. Besides, unsure of conditions and where next main road access was.
Thought i got all your caches in series, but realised when got home I somehow missed Norman and Emily St's. Possibly had map zoomed in and went to next direct. Alas, had fun as I mentioned, and again Thanks and well done.
Cheers from Reg.

Back in Wagga for another weekend of caching - this time with Kittykatch, Joolay and DarkSideDan. A couple of the power trails in our sights, but a few others besides!

Unless otherwise indicated, caches found and in good order. Another nicely put together cache! Fav point for the camo and style!

Thanks baby&Mrs gopher for the cache and the fun!

Many thanks to the CO bMG for taking time out to take us along the trail today. We had a blast exploring the old stock route and fun bouncing around in our SUV. The Mazda CX5 managed a lot of the track but it would have been a lot tricker if the track had been wet. A great bunch of hides meant a great afternoon caching too. Many thanks for the fun Smile

Lef Nanango Qld on Monday 6th November and made it to Alexandra on Friday 17th. We cached our way via Dubbo, Shepparton, Bendigo and Canberra. Now on our way home and staying in Parkes tonight. Naturally we are caching our way back both GC and GCA.
Driving up the Olympic Way and drove past GZ that was on the opposite of the railway line. Drove on then double back in the direction from which we had come but on a different road.

Parked and after a short walk and a good read of the description soon had the container in hand. Love it. TFTC baby&Mrs gopher

18-Sep-17
Hi there baby&Mrs gopher.

We found your cache **"Perhaps Not The Olympic Way"** today. (This makes our find count 18011).

Today we headed down from Wagga to The Rock so we could attempt the "bMG"series while our caravan was in for some fridge repairs. - but we also had to find this one. As it's not part of the series it deserves a finely crafted log, not one of the crappy cut-n-paste ones that usually are associated with power trails.

After almost tripping over the fence (thanks for the warning) we soon had the cache in hand.

We found 9 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

Based in Wagga, for a few days, in the grand company of fellow Victorians Suscoe, we headed to the south of town then to the west in search of some Riverina treasure.
This was the first cache on the list. WOW what a way to start. As usual we were all sure we had checked "that spot" when Mr Suscoe announced he had it in hand. It was very easy to drop a FP in this log.

Thanks baby&Mrs gopher for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

A trip was planned for last weekend but the weather spoiled those plans, re-scheduled for today and what a lovely day it turned out to be. Not too hot, not too cold, just right for some monkeying around. Headed out just after 6.30am and returned around 12.30am collecting just over 60 caches on the trip more than originally planned. The touring party consisted of Boot65, Loci612, Rapidlywild and myself with all logs through the day being signed as B.F.L.R.

Time to slowly make our way back to Canberra and decided to go home via The Rock. Seems we were fast approaching a trial so of course we all decided why not lets do it. Quick find at this one before hitting the trail in the 4WD.

Thanks for the cache baby&Mrs gopher and thanks for a great day out Boot65, Loci612 and Rapidlywild.

The main goal of today was a day trip down to Walla Walla to complete the tree hide series. On the way back though we spotted this trail and one thing led to another and we were on the trail and couldn't stop ourselves from going the whole way, into the night! It was way to much fun!

This was the first hide we came too, and it was a good one too! Boot65 had already found this as it was an older cache so he stood back at first. The hint was very specific but we looked around and in the wrong places and couldn't spot it. Boot then jogged his memory and found the cache! Very sneaky hide here that works well with the surroundings Smile

I'll give you a favourite point for the hide and location!

A group of us in the ACT had been planning a Walla Walla trip to tackle the 4.5T series of caches for a little while now, we locked in last Saturday however weather and news was reporting "significant" rains so we postponed to this Saturday. After heading off nice and early, the four of us (Boot65, FurfacesLL #1, Loci612 and myself) set off for our long day of adventures. We had 9 caches in our initial target, came home with just over 60 finds after 17+ hours out and about. It was an amazing day challenging ourselves in many ways and hitting some awesome fun 4wd tracks under moonlight Big Grin We signed all caches today as B.F.L.R. to save room in the logs. Picked up 3 D/T's for me and FurfacesLL claimed their 25,000th find Big Grin Congrats ladies.

*End Predefined Log Starter for Saturday 27th May 2017*

**This Cache:** So we decided to head in and do the trail along here being we were with Boot65 and his awesome 4WD. We had an amazing trip along this 4WD track, lots of bumps, slides, mud, climbs and walks out to the caches. The weather was really nice and there was heaps of giggling and chatter. This find took us a little bit but eventually it was located.

Thanks to Boot65 for being our chauffeur today in the new 4wd beast, was super fun Big Grin thanks also Loci and FFLL for the great day out and thanks for the cache of course baby&Mrs gopher Cool[^]Big Grin
