My gps was way off with the pending storm and the birds were screeching their danger calls. Thank goodness for common sense! TFTF
Walked here from Abuklea Street. Took a few minutes to work out which was the right place but actually the cache name says it all. We felt that we should trust the logs and not climb but nothing was popping out for us
Then, of course, just as Mr Gasztek got a step up, Mrs Gaztek spotted the container. The log is **very** wet. We removed it from the plastic bag as it will never dry in there, placed it back in the container and the entire container in the plastic bag. Nice place. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

skyejam and I needed just one find for today to give us the "last day of the year" souvenir. I'll be heading back out here tomorrow for another find so I can earn the "first day of the New Year" souvenir. Thanks for the hide The Dino-Mites and Happy New Year to you.
I was surprised to find this cache in arms reach from the ground, was sorta hoping for a bit of tree climbing action! I felt like the cache was too daringly in the open so placed it one branch higher after signing. Thanks!
The zip lock bag as a hole in it. The log can still be wrapped up tight in the plastic, but thought I'd mention this anyways.

Today I wanted to go to Macquarie Park, but the train didn't go there. That`s way I get out in Epping.
I went through Epping and sought and found some caches.

TFTC! Refreshing choice of cache container. Placed it a bit higher as it was visible from the ground and sported a tiny camo hat -- good for hiding from geobirds but not from us landbound folk.
#231. Spotted this one fairly quickly once I was in the right area, but unfortunately the retrieval attempt left me with some skin torn off my hand. The second attempt was to knock it down which was successful and the log was quickly signed, however I didn't think ahead as to how I was going to get it back up to its original spot... So it is now a little lower than I found it, but maybe the next cacher will be more agile than me and can return it up to its original spot. TFTC!

Streak day #250 - And it's Monday again. I had such a great weekend and yesterday ended up being quite busy so I really don't want to be back at work today, but it can't be helped. At least I have a day off to look forward to later in the week. After work and a little break it was time to head to figure skating lessons again. One of my friends keeps trying to convince me to stay for the casual hockey game that is played afterwards, but usually I just want to grab my daily cache then head home to bed. Looking for nearby easy caches this one caught my eye. It seemed easy enough to drive to. I was kind of excited when I read the name because I love climbing trees, but unfortunately no climbing required for this one. Even being careful with my torch so as not to arouse the suspicions of muggles passing in their cars I was able to make a quick find. I moved away to sign the log before hiding it back as I found it. I made sure it was slightly more camo'd than when I found it. TFTC.

Found with Jase90 during a day out in Western Sydney in an effort to help me get closer to reaching my milestone goal of 2,000 finds at the last ever Geocaching Block Party in Seattle this August. We started over at Prospect with Madness Gateway and Sydney's Newest- Relocated. Then onto Pemulwuy for William Lawson and Veteran Hall, and then across to Blacktown for Pope's Garden, Train Spotter - Roma and URBAN SV (where we had a long chat with the Cache Owner, nice to meet you!). Back in Prospect we then found Quick park & Grab, for the streakers., For Marissa & Mel's streak, Home Sweet Home, Time to Commuicate. (is it meant to be Communicate?) and Prospect Park First Cache. Heading over to Seven Hills, Jase90 and I continued on to tackle Nice little park & grab and Snowy Reserve Cache. In Girraween we found the Former Railway Corridor Toongabbie, then in Pendle Hill we grabbed Knox's Box and our final stop out west was in Old Toongabbie where we picked up Spot the Geoduck.
On the way back home, we decided we could fit in a few more and we stopped by North Rocks and found 4,3,2,1 and Measure Up. We then finished off the day in Ryde and Eastwood with Up The Garden Path and Beanstalk respectively.
All in all, a fun day out with Jase90 and we picked up some beauties along the way. For all of the caches, I Signed Log and Took Nothing Left Nothing. A successful day out in terms of find rate! Thanks For The Caches to all of the respective Cache Owners.

Had a great time climbing the tree! Forgot how much I love doing it! Sad we didn't have to climb, was tempted to put the cache up higher to make it more challenging but didn't. Tftc!
Find #: 1,154
Companions: None
Muggles: None nearby
Weather: Cool winter day
I remember finding the previous cache in this park, and parked in the same spot (amazing what stays in the brain!). I was a bit apprehensive about what needed to be done, so looked around to make sure no-one was looking. As I started my vertical ascent I realised I didn't need to; has this cache perhaps moved? I signed and replaced, then headed on my way. TFTC

Honestly I thought I was going crazy after about fifteen minutes trying to find it from the ground. Then I climbed the tree and looked at it from another perspective and I found it almost instantly. Really good find but the satellite says the location is between two trees so I went for the most climbable tree. I stayed with family just across the road so it was very accessible. Bound to do it again! TFTC
Geo-touring around these parts with Opa-Shrek and One of the Geokids - when we arrived t this little park I told GeoJorjy she wanted the climbing tree....she Bee-lined for the one and immeadiately began heading up, although following along behind her I found it where she had already stepped over in her eagerness for a climb
Thanks for the cache here Dino-mites

I've been enjoying the diversity of dino-mite hides here in Marsfield today with Mumma-Kel and young GeoJorjy, and this one was no exception. Eight year old GeoJorjy took the opportunity for another tree climb (her second of the day) and while getting up, she dislodged the cache making it an easy find for Mumma-Kel. While all this was going on, I was still crossing the park so all I had to do was sign the log ... too easy. Thanks for another smiley Dino-Mites.
A quick park and grab with Geokid. It was a bit too exposed I think but we left it where we found it. Cheers
I doubt there is any goose that lays golden eggs up that tree. But I did see something that glittered elsewhere.
The hiding spot could do with some reconsideration as it stands out regardless of how much camouflage.
Thanks for the cache.

What a find! I get there and the first thing I see is the sun beaming onto THE perfect tree for lazing around on to watch the world go by. I head straight for it, competely forgetting about the cache. Gosh nature is beautiful!

Found it. Good find for my first geocache. Looking forward to finding more!
Needing a quick find today we headed over for what was a small detour. There where some muggles in the park so we avoided them and made a stealthy find in one of the first places we looked. We completed the signing duties and re hide. TFTC

Just when I was prepared to go up, I checked the attributes with the difficulty and terrain. Well it must be here, and CIH shortly afterwards. TFTC
Found it on a muggy Saturday while in the area. Nice quick find but I've accidentally pulled the clippy thingy off the log book and I haven't got the tool to put it back on.
Sorry. TFTC

Cache container has been replaced. It's BYO pen/pencil now. Sorry for the delay.
Walked round the beanstalk clockwise three time and then anti clockwise three times (refrained from incantations as there were muggles about!), but the magic bean did not reveal itself.
Looked for a while with kinexd but couldn't find this one today. Will have to come back again another time!
Simple but very effective! Hope this one doesn't get muggled. SL on nearby bench which is where I signed a log of a previous cache hidden in this same little park. TFTC
Yebo Dino-Mites,
As I am walking today through the suburb of Eastwood, starting at the station and looping around, I went for this one and have seen it straight away

Got here as the sun was disappearing and had it hand quick smart. Great tree!! TFTC!!
Today it was the second time for me. The last time I just read climbing tree and immediately start to climb. No results. The it came dark and it was too obvious to sneak around with the head lamp.
Back at home I just checked the T-rating and realized that I do not have to climb. So today after 20sec I had CIH.
By the way
I like the liquor drive thru nearby.

***SPOILERS***
I found this in amongst the leaves at the base of the tree and i'm sure it's not meant to be there. I placed it back at the base of the tree close to where I found it. I have a feeling it has fallen from the tree.

A nice hide in a cosy little park. Unfortunately we didn't need to climb as much as we thought we would. TFTC!
Found it straightaway today, in plain view. In a spot I've looked before. I suspect the GC on this one might be a bit fluid. SL & returned to same spot. TFTC.
Found at 5:53pm. Made the find with relative ease. I enjoy this style of cache and I must say it's slightly more creative than the original 'Trash Park Cache'. Thanks Dino-Mites for the cache
Never knew these shops were here! Just goes to show that geocaching brings you to new places all the time.

We understood from the D/T rating that we should not have to climb any tree (a pity, Hagar likes tree climbing). The question was just which tree to search, but it was soon revealed.
My phone was pointing to the other climbable tree, so I had a prod and poke there first. Then I went to the other tree and prodded and poked there too.... nothing.
Back and forth between the trees, while the geogirl was collecting pine cones.
I was just about to give up, when my hand went to the correct place and there it was! Hahaha - I like this one!
TFTC. I couldn't sign as there was no pencil.

I was headed to Glenbrook today to pick up some geocaching goodies...and decided to take a little detour to find some caches. I initially drove past this one thinking that it would be too obvious to climb a tree with people around...but on looking at the terrain rating...things weren't as they seemed. I stopped in to check out the area...and soon had the cache in hand.

Dino-Mites - very sorry that Two Tickly Metres got muggled just after I found it. No one saw me put it back but perhaps I didn't push it in far enough.
As for Beanstalk - I circled GZ a couple of times before stumbling upon it. Good to avenge my previous DNF. I made sure I put it back exactly as I found it!

Nice easy find on the way home.
Have been here before. Very climbable tree, but no climbing necessary.
Found in the new spot which is probably what the old spot was anyways, a good hide.
Thanks for the cache!

My phone died just after I parked the geo-mobile. Didn't need it anyway, as I had just read the info.
Quick find, as I would have hidden this one very similarly.
I remember another cache in this same park last year. Not sure what happened to it.
Thanks for another one DM's.

This seemed familiar from the missing Trash Pack cache, so I pulled up and found the designated tree. It did look quite climable but the terrain rating suggested that wasn't necessary and it was found after a short search of likely hiding spots. Thanks Dino-Mites.
Jono_9 and I often stop nearby to collect my favourite take-away food. But not today. We encircled GZ and soon noticed a possible place. We signed the log and returned, wondering how long this will stay in place. Thanks for the cache.
After walking around the suspected tree for about a minute, Sjamp found the cache in a place where it may not last...

Riding around Marsfield with the geofam and we stopped in the park for a rest. Thought I would check the new cache here, but no luck. Found a likely spot, but am assuming that with a d/t rating of 1.5 I'm not expected to climb the tree mentioned in the hint.
Our easiest find for the day, as the cache was just lying out in the open under the tree! Not sure what it's original location is supposed to be, but we've stuck it back in the tree, so it should be ok. But you may want to check on it at some point. Tftc
Had me puzzled for a while because of the low terrain rating, but actually spotted this one from above. Well hidden. Thanks.
An easy find!
When it next rains, if we ever get any, I think the camo could wash away if there was any force to the water.

I'd been here before for the old cache and instinctively headed for the same spot before the pointer indicated elsewhere. Looks like someone has been digging for truffles here. I had a bit of a look and feel before spotting something. Signed and replaced with camo.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Thanks The Dino-Mites for bringing me back to this quiet little park; and after caching for a few weeks in Hong Kong with appalling GPS accuracy, thanks for the precise coordinates, too!
Arrived at GZ with nothing obvious, so read some logs; looked up and caught a glimpse of the container - in a place I hadn't even thought of as being a hiding spot! It could change every time, I guess, so pretty easy to miss. TFTC, The Dino-Mites, hope to see more of your caches!

Been here before for the Trash Pack Cache.
After a pleasant dinner with friends at a nearby restaurant, I just had to grab this cache before heading home, even though the sun had already set.
No sign of it in the obvious spots. Now if it's a beanstalk, and having then read the hint, I decided to ignored the terrain rating and climbed into the tree. Haven't done that for quite a while.
Should have read the logs instead...
Well, climbing didn't seem to help as I couldn't spot anything up there. Then as I was looking to climb down I spotted something slightly suspicious. And yes it was the cache, which I hadn't needed to climb for, but which I may not have spotted in the dark, except from above.
The replace was done from a much more civilized ground level.

After work today I needed to find my daily cache. Which I did at this cache. Set the iPhone to this cache. Got a sense of I've been here before not realising hat the previous cache had been archived. Arrived at the tree in question and going of previous logs started looking in all the wrong places. Wasn't till I started looking higher the. Ground level that I made the cache. Started to wonder how mr JordsAU ,issued this one. But it is very well camoed.

Did we heed the D/T levels? no! Satanas 666 climbed up into the tree for no real purpose, as I found the little sucker from ground level. Thanks TDM.
Found pretty quickly, guess I just looked at the right place.
