It was great to meet some familiar names. It looks like there were a few other names I have seen, but who I unfortunately didn't actually meet - a good excuse for me to make more effort next event.
However, the warmth of the company made up for the chilly wind in the park. Many thanks Pele53 and MeKa52 for organising the gathering and hope your continuing travels go well.

Six-week trip is done and now we are back in Finland.
All went well and we saw a lot of nice and different places.
Oh, and we found a lot of nice caches great sites.
Thank you to all of you who came to event, we had a nice time, and the time passed quickly.

Thanks Pele53 & MeKa52 for organising this evening. I enjoyed meeting you both, also several new cachers, as well as catching up with a couple I had met previously. Its always good to put faces to names. There was a cold wind, and I was thankful to have my warm jacket handy. Retrieved a Finnish TB, White girl. I had two days caching in this area. Once again, thanks for this event.

Great to meet those who were there....shame about the wind

Thanks for running this event, which gave us a chance to meet a few new faces and gave me a chance to quiz skindo on a hint for some of his many puzzles . the wind was a bit of a shame, but our wind-proof jackets proved their worth once again. Enjoy the rest of your New Sealand visit.

Since this Event was the impetus for us to come spend a BIG day cacheing in Wairarapa it was great to actually make it and meet our two intrepid Finnish travellers. Nice to see some familiar faces from Wellington & the Hutt Valley, put some faces to names (or geocaching monikers anyway), and meet some new people. Sorry we didn't stay too long ... plenty more caches to find this evening.

Just found out abut this event this morning. We will attend (2), see you this evening. Dropping a Geocoin that wants to travel...Finland is a long way from here, that should do .

Olen kassalla muutaman oman välimuistit Pele, ne näyttävät upeilta. Jälleen kerran kiitos ja oli mukava tavata, onnea kiertueella matkustaa.

Thanks Pele53 and MeKa52 for hosting what I think is the first caching event in the Wairarapa. It gave me the opportunity to meet a few of the local cachers and to catch up with some cachers I already know. I checked out a few of your caches Pele, they look awesome. Once again thanks and it was nice to meet you, good luck with tour travels.

Moikka! Tervetuloa Uuteen-Seelantiin! Vietin vuoden Helsingissä asuu Katanajokka jossa olin käyttöön geokätköily. Olin viimeksi siellä MEGA Tampereella. Voivamme tervehtimään. I will bring along some TBs to take bake to Suomi.

I'm planning on being there.

Carrington Park should be a nice place to be on a summer's evening ... great playground for the children, plenty of space for activities/games/sports/etc.

Looking forward to seeing all who attend.

Not sure what our plans are but hope to be there if we are still at home.

Count me in ...
I actually grew up in Carterton and spent many hours playing there with my younger brother. I have yet to log the cache located here so will be able to kill two birds with one stone.
Will see if I can round up a few more Wellington cachers to attend. If anybody's keen to carpool over the Hill, PM me.
