Pretty sure it's been muggled Big red screw top about 2-3 liters with Xmas stickers and tinsel? Virtually empty. No log book. Santa hat in the creek.
We found it with lots of its contents spread out on the ground. Put them back inside and replaced the cache to a hidden area as it was in the open gps is off by about 15 meters but it was 20
At first I approached it from the wrong side, so have to walk around and found it easily. The christmas man was looking at me and the christmasballs were still inside.....very appropriate for this time of the year
Day 3 of our 5 Day end of year geocaching trip. Today was our biggest day with 75finds and 4DNFs with most of them being park and grabs. What a cute cache - Well Done! We still needed a 2.5 'X' cache for a new challenge that just came out recently. Super... Challenge (Canterbury) Sorry for the late log but Thanks for the cache [purple]Our cache find: #3268[/purple] | [green]Cache of the Day: 40/75[/green] | [blue]Cache of our trip: 107/235[/blue]
Today was Palmerston and environs day. Another successful endeavour - even if rather warm! Thanks.
Out in the open again. Tucked away at the base of a tree.

This was out in the open. We have put a dry piece of paper in a clean plastic bag to replace the wet log and rehidden. TFTC

Found it using WEKA's clue.

We quickly found this cache lying on the ground. As we were unsure where it was supposed to be, and there was no obvious hint object nearby, we placed it at the base of a tree and covered it with bark. TFTC
Back through Palmerston today and no one was about the park this time which gave us the opportunity to have a look for this cache. Nicely themed cache Found with Aoraki Sheep and Woody104
No cricketers about today so a good time to grab a smiley here. Just as we were leaving we noticed the farmer across the road watching us as we drive out. Maybe something to be aware of - careful of curious locals. Found with debsnz
Not really a DNF more of a DNL (Did Not Look) as a local cricket match was in full swing and we felt it be a bit obvious if we started looking around with two cricket teams, spectators and the local policeman at GZ. We'll need to call back another time.
5998. Very very windy. We very nearly gave up but glad we didn't. That was a lovely find. Last time we geocached in Palmerston we found one just along from here! Thanks. Rodney and Iris. 2 to go!
took grandkids for a hunt today had a sneakey feeling they would enjoy this one and they did thanks erninz
Many Thanks for the cache, Most I have done in a day for at least 8 months. - Bitsprayer

We had to ask for help with this one as the co-ords had us in the middle of the nearby paddock. Cheers Big Smoke for the heads up and yes it was a much easier find on our return. The junior dakotacat loved all the goodies in the cache and she took one of the Christmas crackers. Merry Christmas erninz.
Cheers!

GPS coordinates were a bit out but still managed to find it because of the colour and size of cache.

A bucket full of Christmas goodies awaited us as we made a renewed search for this cache. Our GPS had the cache over the road and in a field... unlikely we thought. And so it proved to be. A futher hint from Big Smoke enabled us to record a find. Thankyou.
HoHoHo. 2ndTF Nice one Erninz. Chockablock full of swag and very merry indeed.
Used a bit of wrinkly iron to shield it a bit, as I saw it from about 10m away. Still in plain sight from the other side though.
Merry Xmas to you and yours and to all other cachers.
