Sweet-Sour I found your cache Radio Star #2 on 13/8/2022, 3:15 pm. This is my find 3934 and find # 10 today. Took a long time to find this. Was about to give up when I spied something out of the corner of my eye. Hasn’t been found for over a year but cache is all good and dry. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Wow. Great views on the way up. Nice hide, but hatzofff had her eyes on it straight away.

Three years and three months later we finally turned this blue frown upside down! Quite funny how we searched for so long last time, only to walk straight up to it today! 10 months unloved was a nice bonus too! Loved seeing the old log and how well it has survived. TFTC
I was here to attend the nearby CITO. As I was early, I checked for nearby caches and spotted this one on my map. I headed to GZ and set about searching. Before long, I was adding my name to the log. TFTC
Signed the log for this one while attending the Sunny CITO event. Cache dry and well and in cleaner surroundings now. All good here.

Heading north today to clean up the Evil series in Yurol State Forest and then clean up at a local CITO.
I got a nice early start - a few caches around Cooroy , some great coffee then I hit Yurol State Forest. With the Evil Series now complete, I arrived at the CITO here all bloody and with ripped shorts. Fighting wait-a-while does that!
I joined in the CITO and whilst collecting rubbish here, was having a chat to Humbug who casually mentioned the cache that happened to be right under my feet. Job done - will also log the archived original for good measure, having signed its' logbook as well.
Thanks Sweet Sour

Here for the CITO.
Good to say that container and logbook are in terrific condition , pristine like I found it 5 and half years ago. I tidied up the camo around the container, just like I found it.

A lovely drive in the countryside this morning bought us to this cache. Good parking and a short stroll. My coordinates led me straight to the treasure. TFTC
We made a small detour on the way home from Amamoor to check in on this one again after being assured that it is actually there after our failure to find it a few months ago. We just obviously didn't look hard enough.
Lots of nice mossy rocks but still unfortunately some dumped rubbish too. It did still take us a while to find as it certainly does blend in well and is expertly covered as others have noted.
It was just a matter of time before we moved the right piece of the puzzle...
So glad to finally find it. No swaps in such a nice big ammo can, so left a few.

Well, that is embarrassing.
I was here after work about 12 months ago and after searching for a while I gave up and recorded a DNF.
After seeing the last few logs confirming that the cache was still available to be found and having a bit of time on my hands, I should have another look.
My search this time was a little bit more systematic and after about 30 minutes I had the cache in hand. I can understand all the DNF's as the cache is very well hidden with very good cameo.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
I hope this log will encourage other cachers to attempt this cache and search thoroughly before giving up.
All is good with this cache.

Contrary to popular belief, there is nothing wrong with the cache. Ammo box exactly where it was placed in 2013. Just have to look. When you find it, please cover as found.
Thanks Team Benders. Found your note when I arrived back home. I do hope every finder covers it up as well as you, the natural cameo looked like it hadn't been disturbed since Temingi found it
some 16 months ago. Thanks again.

Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

I will check this one out very soon.
It is well hidden and I doubt if it has gone missing.

Nice views on a cool clear Autumn day. They really should make a proper lookout here...
We headed into the forest at the abandoned clothes dryer and found lots of rocky hiding spots but no cache.
Since there have been a few DNFs now and last actual find was more than a year ago, maybe this one needs a maintenance check....

I was working in the area today and as we finished a little earlier than normal, I thought I should grab some nearby caches.
No luck here today. After the short stroll to GZ, a thorough search of the area was conducted and there were several locations were the cache could have been but it was not there.
I may have to leave this one for another time.
Thanks ***Sweet-Sour*** for bringing me to this great location.

Looked high and low and everywhere we could.. i dont give up easily and I certainly didnt with this one. Unfortunately it was a DNF for KaleidoscopeCass and I
Parked up and admired the view while we had our sandwiches and then the search began. Geowife soon made a hasty retreat to Mitsi when the Mozzies started biting and left me to find the cache. Searched for quite some time and then got lucky, couldn't believe how well the cache fitted into its hiding place. TFTC Sweet-Sour
We used to live nearby and it was good to revisit this place again. Thanks Sweet-Sour.
A welcome return to do a few caches around this area. Great view and some searching around before we were able to exclaim "found it". Thanks to Sweet-Sour for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the location.
Up on the Sunny Coast for a weekend of adventure racing. Our event finished at lunch time in Pomona, so I had some time to hunt for a few smileys on the way back to camp this afternoon.
I am pretty sure I did the old cache here. I think I spent a bit longer looking for it though
The view was not too bad today. It was raining all around, but not at GZ while I was there. [^]
A nice quick find thanks.

Out and about with a celebratory caching afternoon up in an unfamiliar location.. I headed up to this one.. Beautiful drive up to the cache.. Too bad the area is sooooo overgrown.. so much potential for lovely views!!!
I soon learnt that caching is not advised in ballet flats lol.. especially with all the prickly branches around.. OUCH!! haha...
Thanks for the quick cache Sweet-Sour!

Austrees and I found this last yer, soon after we joined geocaching. At that time, I was not a premium member, hence not able to log a find. I feel uncomfortable to claim a find after a long time, so had a quick trip to resign the log.

This must be the most ammo cans I've found in a day, an enviable statistic for some I know. I made the circuitous path from the west to get up to the communications towers and found a great place to park. Then a couple of muggle workers arrived but their work took them in the opposite direction to the cache so I was free to take a short walk to GZ on my own. I had a bit of a look around and spied a very cleverly hidden ammo box. Thanks Sweet-Sour for guiding me to this great location and of course for hiding nice big containers!
Up at Cooroy this morning with thehairbear and we headed out to grab a few caches. The drive up to this one is always nice and once we had parked we enjoyed the views before heading off to find the cache. A short search and the cache was soon in hand.
After signing the log all was returned as found.

Road tripping again!!! Woohoo! This time it's a maintenance run with Brother Colin The day was getting on so we started the journey home, but, uhh... well, there's 3 in a group just over here... better take another detour, mmm? BC enjoyed the drive up here then he played "dodge the structures" [:o)] and pulled up with an 8 metre walk to GZ [^] I soon had the cache in hand. TFTC, Sweet-Sour.
Out and about with IolantheK up this way doing a maintenance run and finding a couple of caches as well.
After a big day, we are now making our way home.
Just a little detour to grab the 3 caches in this region. [^]
We made our way around the structures towards GZ....and after a little searching among the trees IolantheK found the cache tucked away.
Thanks for the cache

Boooyah Found It!
Was out with dahumbug today (showing him how geocaching is done properly!!!)
We weren't actually looking for this cache.. He had already found this one (FTF actually). But he decide to follow me.. he should learn to never follow me as I took a wrong turn... whoops wrong geocache but I wanted to find it anyway.
He didn't give me any clues and I actually thought this was somewhere else..nope not there .. I sensed I was close.. and then.. ahhh there it is!
Love finding ammo tins.. much more interesting than just a standard piece of tupperware.

Out for a day of caching on one of the hottest days of the year didn't seem like a perfect idea. But when you mix that with an event, an area you haven't cached before, an air conditioned car and some good friends, it doesn't seem so bad.
I was out with Fangsoki, Prime and Sweet_bee as we were heading north collecting caches on the way to the Gympie event. We pulled up at this car park and headed over towards GZ. We all split up and followed our devices to the same general area.
It was a few minutes until Fangsoki let us know that he had found the container. We huddled around as the container was opened and the logbook signed. I grabbed a pathtag and the container was replaced as Fang found it. Thanks for the cache Sweet-Sour.

Groundhog Day!
So I was the lucky bugger that came up with the archived cache that was up here. Was honoured to find it back then.
But then I heard Sweet-Sour had done the deed and decided to share the area with our new cachers - or give those that had found the old one a chance to visit the area again.
Pprime, Net88, Sweet_bee, and I rolled into GZ into the familiar area. We parked in a familiar place but Prime's GPSr took us into another area far from the original cache GZ.
Prime announced that it should be in a certain area. But no cache to be found. We widened the search and I eventually came up with the hide. A well-hidden beast indeed, Sweet-Sour. We signed the log and I dropped in a trackable I have had for waaayyy too long.
Sweet-Sour - in his own right - removed the old archived cache. So I am unsure why some are signing the old log book to claim the find? The archived cache is gone and was 50m away from this GZ?? Admire the old book and the names in it - but don't claim a find on a cache that no longer is...
Great to visit the area again - and well done for breathing new life into the place, Sweet-Sour. TFTC

Out for a trip to Gympie today, with Fangsoki in command of the mighty Mondeo, Sweet_Bee and net88 ain the company, and we picked up 'a couple' along the way.
Having been around when this spot was re-discovered late last year I was pleased to be able to re-return with the release of an honourary cache very nearby. We trundled over to the old location and yes it is now empty as described, and thus over to the new co-ords and with allowance for a bit of GPS bounce under tree cover a neat little container was soon uncovered with it's precious historical contents (which we'd already perused at last year), and a new logbook both in good condition.
Thanks for placing this cache, Sweet-Sour.

I'm changing the Co-ords to dahumbug's, these seem to work, the ones I took the other day are about the same distance the other way. I'm sure all this is due to the heavy tree cover.

Wanting a little relief from the sun, we went for a drive in the hills in the afternoon. Quite by chance we found ourselves at the top of Black Mountain checking out possible scenic views. While I was here I fired up the GPSr to check if there were any nearby caches and this one popped up only metres away.
Off I went into the bush and blundered around for quite a while looking without success. I was on the point of giving up but decided to check the Recent Logs before I did. It was only then that I realised that this was such a new cache...and I saw some alternative co-ordinates from Dahumbug. Giving those a try changed what was looking like a into a .
Thanks Dahumbug for the alternative co-ords and Sweet-Sour for putting this cache back into action (I didn't take one of your Pathtags as I already have one from "Number 11" cache). Although the views from the top aren't that great, heading back down they are fantastic.

[email protected]. We had a lot of difficulty with the GPS on this one.
The radio towers and the trees combined made this a difficult find.
We were also talking to the FTF and he said it was difficult and gave us a clue and we went back and looked where we looked before and found it.
Both the old and new log books were in the cache. I went after to the original site for the archived cache as well but the old cache had been removed.
I signed both log books and rehid the container exactly as I found it.
The views up here are beautiful and we took advantage to take some photos of the nearby mountains.
Thanks for bringing us here.

I had ideas of placing a cache in the very same vicinity of this cache. I had different ideas of a different container, but I think this hide is better than what I would of done. Good to come back in the day time and admire the views from the top of the hill.
I did sign a clean logbook, but I am confused that there is no trackable in the container? No coin was in the container, only heaps of Sweet-Sour path tags ?
This hunt reminded me of another one in Brisbane, one I was only talking about yesterday. A favourite from me for nostalgic reasons, attention to the other one
