After a couple of DNFs we checked and it's gone. Not replacing as we're sick of kids trashing it.

22-Feb-17
DNF Sad 3 of us spent a good 10 minutes hunting high and low but no trace of the cache. Disappointing as we brought a newbie along, and this was his first cache, so definitely not a great start.

Moneydork and Mrs Moneydork had very kindly invited me, last November, for a caching trip to Victoria over the Australia Day weekend [:X]
A massive trip with 13 DNFS Sad and 318 Smile finds over 7 days and many kilometers of travel Cool
My knees don't want to bend anymore after a massive ride on the Ballarat Skipton Rail Trail and then about 145 finds the next day while finishing the Dad's Mt. Disappointment Driving Lesson series [xx(] Wink Seems my driving lesson was about me keeping both feet on the ground as I broke my own record by doing the autumn leaf thing 4 times in one day SurprisedRed Face [xx(]
Still a fantastic trip with great sights and lots of cache finds [^]Cool

DNF! Sad Today was another travel day from Seymour to Swan Hill so caches were attempted all along our route but some, like this one, were not found Sad

Out & about with CPwanderer on a humid day.
We had travelled down for the week-end to cache around Bendigo.
A great idea to keep the public informed about invasive weeds.
The cache is out by 10m, but the name gives a fair big clue as to the area.
Thanks for bringing us here Horzi a favourite.

A quick find with clare007 on a very hot day!!

26-Dec-16
Riding past, the hoot of an owl signaled the gz location. A quick search had the cache in hand. The log is damp but still usable. As the gang prepared to leave the owl stopped hooting. Curious

06-Nov-16
Lots of hidey holes. Only gave this a quick look yesterday but could not find. After DNF for BCT1, which appears muggled quickly dismissed this one.
Suggest owner checks both.

Thank you from the Stokes-Logan family. Was alot of fun

04-Sep-16
DNF looks like three large limbs have collapsed, not sure if this affected the hide but I couldn't find it

25-Apr-16
Third visit, still no luck. I know it's there but beyond my imagination. Will keep trying as its the closest cache to my house.

Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.

Thanks Horzi for placing this cache.

Found by Mary & David at 0925. Our first for a new day. Stayed in town overnight, and now caching our way to Echuca. A joy to be in the company of corellas, galahs, top knot pigeons and magpies, as well as those ubiquitous peppercorn trees. Our indicated GZ was between trees, so we had a choice of places to search. Found the well-hidden caches after a couple of minutes. Our thanks to Horzi.

Sorry for the inconvenience with the log being reported as damp. I'll get on to this ASAP, within the next week.

We needed a bit of 'pepper', it was so cold and previous logs had us a bit worried! Just a few hiding spots of the invasive species had to be checked and the sneaky little guy was retrieved. This one was the last before returning to our caravan, after a late afternoon appointment in Strathdale.

NOTE TO CO With lots of callers and a little moisture, the log is almost beyond being a log! Perhaps a bit of TLC please!

Our thanks to Horzi for bringing us to this location.

Log is damp = container not waterproof and needs some CO TLC - perhaps it's time for the CO to make a maintenance visit on this one!

12-Oct-15
Finally found on my 4th visit! My GPS had me searching in the wrong place entirely, but after reading some previous logs I changed tactic and it didn't take too long to find after that. As a previous log already noted, the cache is accessible from the path. Also, the container may have changed since the camo mentioned in a few previous logs was no longer there. The log sheet was somewhat damp (though I could still write on it), so I placed it in a spare zip-lock bag that I had on me to help keep it dry. Thanks for the challenge, Horzi, and thanks for the cache!

01-Oct-15
Arrived by bicycle. You'd think while no one was about I would be able to search thoroughly...but no. I thought I must have wrote down the wrong co-ords, so called it quits soon after beginning. Now I've read some logs, I'll be back next time to have another go. TFTC

Found with Team Crackers today. Another nice walk to GZ and then the searching began. The GPS was in private property but we stuck to the obvious, and after a little while the rather tiny container was found in logical place.

We are behind logging caches after misplacing our caching book.
Out today knocking over a few hides in the local area.
Thanks for the hide,

After having a great time at the 2 months to the Mega event we headed off with Alansee to try our luck at a few local caches.
Well we have to say this one took us a lot longer than it should have to fine, even though there were not a lot of places to hide it.
We were about to call it a DNF when we checked one more spot and bingo, our names have now been entered into the log.
Thanks Horzi for the cache.

Time for a geo-road trip, with caching mate ahomburg. In a bid to avoid the madness and hussle & bussle of Chrissie, we had 3 days up our sleeves, to do all things .... GPS games related Wink

We had to park and walk a little for this one, however you do what ya gotta do, and it was certainly a stunner of a day for geo activities. This one proved to be a little tricky too. The peppercorn trees were quite easily spotted, however my gps was randomly moving all over the shop. That being said, after quite a bit of time searching by both us, the caching rookie (ie. me) surprisingly located this awesome little hide, with me feeling like I was starting to become less of a rookie and feeling quite accomplished. It helps when you've got someone quite experienced teaching you the ropes. Cheers to ahomburg for his help.

Thanks to Horzi for placing this cache. TNLN. Smile

Find #4306

Well, it was summer holiday time and time for a road trip. Both my Housemate Obi-Cal and I had no commitments for the next three days, so it was decided a bit of a drive was in order. I was keen to find some caches in certain locations for both Victoria Country Road Atlas Challenge (GCY98X) and also the newly published Victorian LGA Polygon Challenge (GC5DFFR) and Obi-Cal wanted to gain some more points in another location based game he is passionate about.

Merry Christmas

When I knew I was heading this way, I made this one a must do. I have had 1 day missing in my placed date grid for some time and believe it or not, there are not that many caches placed on 19th December. Anyway, we parked up the trail a bit and walked in to gz where after an exhaustive search, the sneaky little container was found.

Thanks to Horzi for placing this cache.

Nice hide

Found it! signed the log and replaced with its camo back in its spot. I was wondered what the red flowering plant is that I saw colonizing the other side of the creek.?

Was in for some luck today with not many people on the track. My GPS was playing up but got there in the end by persisting

Good hide Horzi! It took a good bit of searching (between the walkers and joggers not surprisingly out on this beautiful, sunny day) to find the sneaky little hide. Thanks for the challenge!

Suscoe's first find of this trip to Bendigo.
We had headed up the highway this afternoon and there was time for a quick cache before tea.
We had visited here before with no luck on the previous visit but today we were not going until this tricky blighter was found.
After a check of the places we had looked before and some new spots we spotted the well located and hidden cache container.
Thanks to Horzi for this hide. A nice bit of work.
Time for tea.

With the 7 souvenirs of caching and today being a beautiful day with a blank on the calendar we thought we'd venture out and do a loop around Axedale and pick up a couple of different types.

This has been our closest to home for some time so it was time for it disappear off the map. Little blighter took a bit of finding - could just about hide a regular here somewhere.

I love this type of hide, so many possibilities. Also loved the cache container. I have not seen these used in this way but am seriously considering it for my first cache I want to put out in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the cache and the idea

Thankfully a quick find here but it could have taken a lot longer if it wasn't our lucky day. THANKS

Up in Bendigo and took a friend out to show him what this geocaching caper is all about. This one was our first and proved a little tricky before I made the find. TFTC Horzi for the challenge and the fun!

Learnt a bit about peppercorn trees while finding this cache. Luckily the bike path was pretty empty today and we had plenty of time to search uninterrupted. Took a bit of a hunt but Pagan eventually spotted it.
Thanks Horzi Big Grin

24-May-14
I love peppercorn trees, even if they are a weed. This one took a while to find, mostly because our GPS and phones put us 9m over the fence. Word to the wise: you can reach it from the path. Thanks for the cache.

One of 71 caches found today during a big cache run up to and around the Bendigo region. I had a handful of puzzles solved and finding those was high on the agenda, as well as biking some more of the PPPT series. On the way back I managed to squeeze in the Fryers track series south of Castlemaine, and that was a great little adventure in the middle of the night. The weather was perfect all day and even at midnight it was still a balmy twenty degrees. I had a great day with 71 finds and 3 DNF's and my thanks go to all the CO's that placed and maintain the caches.
I parked nearby and walked to GZ. There weren't any muggles about this afternoon so I set about looking for the hide. Many possible hiding spots and the GPS had me hunting over the fence but back to the path side and - what's that in there - the cache. Nice cammo and thanks for the hide.

18-May-14
We found it!! Forgot the pen to sign it!! Good hide and thanks for the cache!!

Mum was a bit scared it was a spider. Smile it was getting dark!

After bike riding to BCT 01 I pedaled to this area. I had a fair scrounge around, I was assuming this cache maybe the same size as BCT 01, maybe I was wrong. Anyway, I couldn't find it. TFTC anyway Horzi.

Yay found, I had been to this one on Xmas day with CBJH1990 we didn't have much time to search so we left soon after arriving, we were suppose to be at my sisters for Xmas lunch, I couldn't be in bendigo and not to attempt to at least find one lol,,, found after a bit of a search, couldn't believe it was there all the time where I had previously looked, oh well now I have discovered it's hiding place TFTC

29-Jan-14
Sometimes you can try a little too hard! After our third visit CBJH1990 and I can finally cross this one of the list! Looking forward to more finds along this trial TFTC

Found by Roma and Max.
We interrupted our stroll around the very quiet business centre of Bendigo, (Quiet this evening due to the cancellation of any festivities in respect to a very sad incident which occurred on Monday), to come on down to your new GZ and search!
After Max had spent some time unsuccessfully Roma joined in and almost straight away discovered your well hidden little container.
Thank you Horzi for our first find in year 2014 and all our best wishes to you and yours for this New Year.
Regards,
from Romax.

After a quiet year of caching last year, why not start with a find on the first day of the year.
Our early morning trek home from a Party last night actually took us near this cache, only to get home and find it had been listed. Not in any state to walk that far again at that time of morning.
3 team members made the ride to GZ around lunch time.
Once at GZ it took 15 minutes of searching before Geo-Mum said she found it and then tormented us when we were still unable to find.
Second to find at 1 pm.
