No bison tube here. Maybe need owner to recheck as its been awhile since last find.
In the area today to help my brother out with a few odd jobs. I was running 15 minutes early, and who wants to be early? Had to detour about 25m from my planned route and stop off here to grab my smilie.
The GZ provided plenty of hidey holes in which to place a famous JacobsCrew bison tube. Fortunately, after about 4 minutes of searching I came up with the goods and added my name to the logbook.

Thank goodness for nanjackoliver to finally find this one! Took a fair bit of hunting. Tftc
Been here a couple of times before and decided to come and have another go this arvo. Searched all the places as before and wasn't getting anywhere. No muggle neighbours were about so went in for a proper go on my hands and knees... still no joy.
Was about to leave when I saw one spot that hadn't been checked thoroughly so stuck my pen in there and promptly lost it in the crevice. As I was trying to retrieve it I discovered the cache and put it aside while I tried to get the pen out. I must say the cache was easier to extract than my pen.
Disaster averted with said pen sitting firmly in my pocket I left the area glad to finally have a smiley here.
JacobsCrew2 I found your cache at 5:37pm, this was the 2nd of 2 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2772. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

We gave ourselves a limit of 10 minutes on this one. We poked, prodded and patted everything. When we hit the 10 minute mark, GeoJ gave it one more going over .... BINGO! TFTC!
Quite a challenge rooting around in the undergrowth but finally nailed the very sneaky little cache. TFTC!
Lots of hidey holes, persistence paid off in the end.
Thanks JacobsCrew2 for the cache.

Out & about in Forrestfield today after dropping Janine off at the airport, the 'boys' had some time to grab a few of the local caches
I spent quite a while here at this one searching all sorts of gaps and hollows. Eventually, i found the sneaky hide in one of the spots that i had initially searched ... don't ya hate that!
All good with this one ... TFTC JacobsCrew2

Decided to head into Forrestfield this afternoon to see if I could hunt down some DNF's on the list. Managed to tackle four and found three of them.
Got to this one and was running a bit short of time, plus it was starting to get dark. After a five minute search I had to be on my way.

I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find this one today, as there was a lot of tree pruning activities going on nearby, but I took a chance and had a bit of a look around. After checking a number of different spots and doing a few laps of the area I found the cache in a sneaky little location.
Thanks for the cache JacobsCrew2!

And my lucky last find for the first day of Winter. Time to head back south again.

Re-logging under new team name ONLINE ONLY (were formerly part of TheChatterboxes but the team had got too large). If CO is not ok with this please contact me. Thanks.
Another scrounge, come to expect it when I see bison on the listing. Thanks for the cache.
[(!] Went for an afternoon caching run and this was one of them, parked the geoGrand Vitara as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

This was a very tricky hide but thankfully I turned it up while geo-hubby and iluvtrekking team were looking elsewhere. Thanks JacobsCrew.
We set off early with richlink this morning to beat the heat, but there was no hope of that and we found the conditions to be quite challenging at times.
We headed off to the Cannon Ball Run and grabbed a few others along the way. A clever cache hide here. Thanks for your cache JacobsCrew, despite the heat we had fun.

Headed out after work to try and clear up the caches I've missed in the Forrestfield area. Thankfully there weren't many people around while I was systematically working through the trees in the area. Spotted the cache but had to go back to the car to grab my log/cache retrieval tool. Even with that it took me a good 5 minutes to get the cache put of its hidey hole. If you're heading here, bring tweezers - it'll make things easier for you! Thanks JacobsCrew )
Well, buoyed by some recent finds here, we headed back for another look, this time with a torch although it was broad daylight! Looking in spots we thought we'd already searched, we soon came up with a find. Reckon our eyes must have been painted on last time. Duh!!

Just caught sight of this cache on the corner of my eye doubt I would of found it otherwise. TFTH
Out on a day of geocaching with the geohubby. I wanted to clear all my DNFS and pick up some of the recent caches that have come out. Not a bad day, we ended up with 18 finds and only 1 DNF.
yep this was another DNF the last time i looked but today out with the geohubby he jumped out the car and found it before i even got to the tree. Sneaky hide TFTC JacobsCrew

Didn't find it, despite four of us searching for quite some time. We even resorted to PAF and returned after completing the Car Rally series. Systematically searched the area again. No joy.
To quote a cacher at a recent event, WOTAF!!
Will put this one on my watch list, but doubt that I will be coming back this way for quite a while. Thanks anyway...

I was out on a day of caching with skippy 46 mainly to pick up JacobsCrew caches and a few other ones close by. I managed to clear up all my previous DNFS. We found 18 today but now i have 6 more DNFS to come back and find another time...

Had a search in all the places that we could but pretty much over it for the day with this our 4th DNF in a row.
Will watch and see what happens.
Thanks anyway JacobsCrew

Spent about fifteen minutes searching all nooks and crannies around GZ but it was a DNF for us here. We'll keep an eye out and go looking again soon.

Heading back to the caravan, when the phone alerted us of 2 new caches in the area.
A quick detour, and we were happy to claim another FTF.
This one took some time to locate, it was extremely well hidden.
Thanks for the cache, JacobsCrew.
