Took a good 10 mins to locate but we did it! Nice hide. Please replace log asap as its worn and full. Tftc
Co-ordinates a little off... But keep looking. Log is definitely full and needs replacing!
My coordinates were off on this one but a quick search resulted in success. Yippee. TFTC!! Love this area.
Decided to go for a walk after a wonderful meal at the nearby hotel. Noticed that this cache was barely closed due to the rather beaten up log sheets within. Did my best to roll them to fit in the lid - succeeded barely. Recommend a replacement log, apart from be beaten up, they are also full. TFTC
The invasion was in full swing today, and GZ was occupied by a crowd. No chance of any searching. We will be back. Our thanks anyway to making tracks.
1. Staying in Inverloch for the New Year events held at Wonthaggi this weekend. We usually stay in Wonthaggi but felt like a change this year and found Inverloch to be very accommodating. The cache was found after a short search on what was a very hot day. Thanks for the hide.
On holidays in Inverloch so thought we would try our luck! Nice walk along beach to park. Took a little while to find but the clue helped.
Signed log which needs maintenance.

We all came down for some fish and chips, followed by a walk down to the markets, lots of muggles but when searching for this cache, didnt seem like the muggles were that interested in what we were doing ha! sneaky little hide.

Team KTC found this one. It's our fourth cache.and another good example of whAt to expect for my young team
Macfarlane Burnet Rover crew found it. Good find for our fish and chips at the beach
Found today whilst out pokiecaching with the kids. Footy half time and out we went. TFTC.
DNF. Believe we have found the correct spot, however, looks like may have been taken and replaced by something else.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Found GZ deserted on this sunny day. Quick find, and then the multitudes appeared. TFTC
I was the lone invader of this place today which meant I could look varedully without creating suspicion. A neat hide that was soon found. Tftc and the story making tracks
Tried and tried, looked all around think we might have seen it but junior-geo to scared of the critters. Meet some other geos also on the hunt.
After our DNF yesterday we returned with KI BUG whom we had been caching all afternoon. They asked us where we thought it might be and we suggested the right place where we had looked yesterday buy not good enough. Got it today at 1725hrs a very clever and almost in reachable cache. TFTC.
Marian and Peter looked for some time today but came up empty handed, reading previous logs we realized our searh was handicapped by not having a young person to boost up for a better look, maybe next time.
It's been quite a few years since I've walked through this reserve, this old shelter a pleasant reminder of how it was back then.
A quick retrieval and the log was soon filled.

Easier with little people to lift.
Good hiding no one would think it would be in here.

Nice quick find finally there were no muggles so it made for an easy climb for geodude#74 some of the log has been a bit destroyed tftc
With two people looking it didn't take long before the cache was in hand. TFTC!
Very very very clever hiding place. Took a while and a few muggles. Took a few shoulders rides but finally found it. Looked a few times but use a light. Very small. 10th find for the day. Found with Pattle66.
It Took a long time to find this one. My mum had to put a geo kid on her shoulder because she is too short.
Great cache. The invasion part in the name is because we imagine this place would be teaming with people on a lovely summer's day. It's relatively deserted today, thank goodness, although we can still hear kids squealing and having fun at the playground nearby! TFTC
TFTC, nice hiding spot and loved reading the story about your family history with Inverloch.
Found by mr sharnie's tribe who had the necessary attribute for this one. Admired the caravan in the nearby yard, would be a great base for caching expeditions. TFTC
Suscoe was up and at it bright and early today as the weather forecast was pretty unpleasant for caching.
It did hit 41 degrees in the car throughout the day.
The day started out with clear skies at times but as the day progressed some cloud appeared from the west.
The change arrived around 5 pm and it was certainly welcome.
This was the 23rd find of the day.
We continued caching throughout the day with a short break for lunch.
This was a nice find, went the wrong way, always do that!!!!!
Thanks to making tracks for this placement.
Some baby magpies were sheltering from the neat here this afternoon too.

Fortunately ICW was with me and he had the necessary height to reach the hiding place. Tftc.
We were finishing up a singing event in Inverloch and as I had the girls with me, I decided it would be a good time to check this one out. So even though we didn't have the gps, I knew where it was located, I just couldn't get up there. Very quick find with some young legs. Thanks for the cache.
I must have spent about half an hour looking for this one but could not find it. However I am unable to climb so that might be why. I will come back with one of the kids and see if they can get to it.
Wow! That's quite tough. Have to be at just the right angle. Managed to find in the dark while waiting for my dinner. Wouldn't like to try with muggles around! Thanks for the cache!
GeoDad found this one. Lovely spot. We were surprise to see there were no muggles about. Thanks. Silkyie
Out and about with the Earthbounds for the day, before we were heading back to Wonthaggi for the Mid Year Event Dinner
We were looking and looking with absolutely no luck here, even had muggles around, paying not much attention to us.
After deciding to obtain light sources from the car, we were able to find the cache within a minute, right where we had already looked.

Well, this was an adventure! Inverloch is a favourite part of the world for the Earthbounds too. We are lucky enough to have friends who have holiday houses in this part of the world and The Stoney Ponies have become an essential part of our New Year! As has Gonefishen events! Out on a cruisey tour of local caches before GF07's latest dinner event today. Three pairs of eyes and after 15 minutes no joy! A family and their footy came and went without (surprisingly) paying us too much attention as we searched. We decided we needed more light and laughed when we realised we'd all left our phones in the car! I retrieved something useful from the car and the cache was found soon after!
Had done this one on a visit with SkiPair on 23/2/2015 however one part of our team forgot to sign SkiPair into the log. We discovered this when we returned to our accommodation. So the correct thing to do of course was to take SkiPair back to the cache so they could sign the log. This they did - for themselves this time! Have probably lost trust in us.
On checking up for our next visit to Inverloch I noticed there was a smiley face missing. So today we called in to check if and when we had signed the log. Oh, no, a new log sheet! The only solution was to sign the new one. Thanks making tracks.

We were making the most of this weekend and heading down to the events at Wonthaggi a day early so we could do a little caching.
We arrived to find a few younger kids playing outside the shelter so we sat in the sun and waited until they finally left thinking that there were a lot worse places to be sitting and watching time go by. Once the kids left we started our search and were very happy when we found it in the second place we looked. After signing the log we retuned the cache and were soon on our way, thanks making tracks for the cache.

We were on a trip down to Inverloch for a weekend away and to complete the D/T Matrix which we did on Friday with some great company. Today was a different story with some easier finds as we made our way back home. We had read that this area had markets on today so this was the plan. I never looked at the GPSr until I was waiting for what was a great coffee. Hmm there is one about 8 meters away. The markets were still quite, not long after they started. The geo kiddies made the distraction as I had a quick look. Not there, or there. There it is. A quick scramble and I had the cache in hand. Stamped and returned as found.
[blue]Thanks for this traditional cache hide, making tracks [^]
Log and container in good condition.

TFTC. We are housesitting in Inverloch for the next 6 weeks. What better way to explore the town and surrounds than by collecting the odd cache or two. Showery day today so not much activity. Tricky find.
We are also the first to sign a fresh log book. Thanks Allan B for the new log and making tracks for a great story to go with the cache.

Forgot to log this when we visited just before Easter. In fact I walk past it every morning as I do my morning walk.
Have always come down to this spot, with friends or for the markets, but was yet to grab the cache. Found with Elly.B TFTC
Logbook replaced by Allan. B, very much appreciated and I tip my hat to you sir
It was all quiet on a Monday morning at the park. This park has held many of our family events too. Very full log book. Nice hide, thanks for the cache.
