Thought I might check out all these archived caches. Will drop notes on each one and update if cache is there ornot...Definitely not here. Checked the hint item and power pole all over.
A quick find for the evening. Seriously, what's up with the tatty scrap of paper for the log sheet?

A very tough day out with skindo.
Lots of driving around and plenty of caches found.
We soon spotted this one and had it signed - on to the next one!

Big caching day out with tmann421 ... 20 hours ... 1005 kilometres ... 76 caches ... Wairarapa ... Taranaki ... Wairarapa
I left home at 3am and meet up with tmann in Sanson to be chauffeured around the ‘Naki. We spent a lot of time zig zagging around to bottom of the mountain on the way to New Plymouth, and then we looped around to the north and back down through Stratford. We drove a lot of roads we hadn’t been on before, saw some amazing sights and had a good time. We even had time to do a few caches in Wanganui on the way home.
Thanks for all the caches placed for us to find.

Quick park and grab... Retrieved monkey doo TB and bumped into Punga and Paua... Looking for the same cache. Nice to meet these guys after doing some of their caches up around Turangi...
Pulled into the parking spot behind another car, and after a short pause, wondering if they were caching or not, someone emerged with cache in hand and we had the cache personally delivered to us! Had a nice chat with Taranaki Guy, nice to meet you, and we were on our way again to squeeze in another few caches before heading home. TFTC.
After spending Christmas with family in Wellington, we made our way slowly North again, having explored New Plymouth we were now making the final stretch to Auckland, all the while collecting a few caches along the way. The recent road works made pulling in and out of GZ a little trickier, but we could see the cache as we pulled up. Quick easy find. TFTC
