No stealth when mini cacher screams ‘I found it, I found it!’ Thanks for the history lesson! Love coming to these places! TFTC.
We’ve interested our friend’s son in Geocaching and this is his second cache and found without any help from us! We’re benefiting from his efforts! We’re leaving now for home but he’ll be trying for more caches around Roma.
In Roma for a few days, so today we dedicated to geocaching - this was our guide, basing our route on "next closest". Our starting point was the information centre - for obvious reasons.
Didn't do the Hospital Hill Walk, but did stop here to read the boards, and find the cache. Thanks jpgordo. Only one left in town now, but today was not the day, maybe tomorrow.

Out and about in the camper van heading west geocaching. 
I camped over night at Chinchilla weir.
The van got parked about as close as you can park to this one.

Detour around Australia- family of 6 in a campertrailer for 6 months!
We went for the walk as suggested, a bit dodgy part of town but the boards were interesting and it was good to see the actual site of QG1 after doing the big rig tour this morning!

Had a great time at the Alice Mega and now on the homeward stretch so still looking for caches along the way. Coongoola may sign small log sheets as CG if there's not much room.

Hi there jpgordo - we're staying in Roma for a week of R & R and a little bit of Geocaching of course! A day out in town ended up bringing us here. SL. This is our find #4648 - thanks to jpgordo for this cache.
This cache has been out for four years - the boys working in the store yard next door know about its where abouts and say once school holidays arrive so do the destroyers on push bikes.

Could not find even after being told by owner today where it was. Maybe cache blind will check next in Roma
Found at 1003. Enjoying our first stop at Roma on our trip to the Red Centre Experience with a 2 day break here. Grabbing a few smileys while we are here. Found with the help of a local worker who knew what I was looking for. TFTC.

After reading the info. on display I realised that the argument about gas versus good water is still relevant today with fracking the new rage. TFTC.

Found on an absolutely freezing day, thankfully it was lunchtime straight after. TFTC
Didn't know this about Roma so was very interested in the information boards here.
The cache was quickly found but much lower than expected from the clue. Replaced it where we found it but don't think it is its proper hiding spot.

we didn't walk. drove up in our camper. had us looking for a while, then used geo sense and located cache thanks

It was too hot for me to do the walk today, but I found the sign at GZ very informative - I had no idea Roma was so important in our gas industry history! And just imagine the fire... Oops! TFTC, jpgordo. =^.^=
Another day at the pool beating the 39* heat, so stopped here for a quick find on the way home. TCTF
A quick and easy find here. We'd have liked to take the walk if the weather had been cooler but it was out of the question today. Maybe one day we'll be back in this area and will have a chance to do it then. TFTC

Found with the Reluctant Companion on our trip to Goondiwindi. Thanks for all the caches you have laid between Surat and Roma. What a great time we had stopping every so often. Must keep you busy just looking after them. It made our trip.
This was the last of our planned Roma caches - now heading off towards Barcaldine. Enjoyed the comments, history and caches - thanks to the COs - will spend more time in Roma next trip. Found at 10.05 am on 23rd May 2015. TFTC.

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
Camped at Roma Gun Club with our friends Sylken and their cat!
Planning to move camp tomorrow so it was time to make as many finds in town as possible.
Thought we were going to be more exhausted finding this cache but we all survived okay. Replaced the logsheet whilst here.
