The area this cache is located in is still closed to the public while the roads and walk trails are maintained and reconstructed after the devastating fires that came through in December/January.
Once the trails have been opened I will re-visit and replace the cache which I am expecting will be a melted mess by now.

Bush fires have affected the area and I suspect there will be a puddle of plastic in this location. Will enable again once I've gotten up there to suss out the situation and conducted maintenance.
A bushfire has unfortunately torn through the park and this walking trail is currently closed. Once the walk trail re-opens I’ll pop up to visit the cache and replace if needed.
Thank you for the nice cache Hans joined me and found the cache very quick even before I looked around. It was his first cache - he never heard before about Geogaching. I hope, now he has caught the Geogache-fever as well
Found with Minergal on the way back down from ze very top!! Reading past logs really helped us get to the right spot! I was far too focused on a higher section! TFTC!!
After hiking up to the summit of Bluff Knoll, we found this cache on the descent. GPS was a bit all over the place, so relied on previous logs and hint. Nice place. Would have loved to see the waterfall in full flow but alas it was just a trickle. Found with Panda Dundee. TFTC
A picturesque spot to stop and take a breather on the way up. Such a great climb today.. amazing views from the summit! I was glad I brought my hiking pole for the descent though. Thanks Tomthewizz for placing this geocache here.
Wonderful location. Next time we'll leave the whingy teens at home.
Thanks for placing

Day 15 of my trip to southwest Western Australia from Adelaide, visiting old haunts, catching up with friends and family, exploring new places and finding a few caches along the way.
I have walked up Bluff Knoll a few times before, almost 30 years ago, but decided I’d do it again today. Unfortunately the top 1/3 was obscured by cloud but I was optimistic that I might get a break to take in the views from the top.
This cache was a quick find on the way up. Not much water flowing here today.
Thanks Tomthewizz for the cache.

Silly Shazamatak! I spent so long looking ABOVE the waterfall on the way up, and found it BELOW the waterfall!
Thank you Tomthewizz
Thank you Tomthewizz
There were so many people climbing Bluff Knoll today, I'm surprised there aren't more entries! A great climb and a brilliant excuse for a rest stop. Thanks "Tomthewizz" for an excellent hide.
Great views and the walk not too difficult for the little ones and the oldies. We placed a geocoin we found in Namibia, Africa. Happy hunting!

Quick found with Struep. As we did it on the way back to the carpark it took a while to find the right spot, but luckily we could secure the container
Thanks,

It's the middle of January and this little waterfall is still flowing, just! A hot day today to climb the track so we were very happy to soak our hats and shirts in the cold, clear water for the final stretch back to the car park. Took care to avoid the higher "pool" as there were tadpoles in it. At a pinch I reckon this water would be good enough to drink.
Anyway, oh yes, the geocache. Quickly found, signed and replaced just as figures approached from below. The cache is in good condition, thanks Tomthewizz.

Climbing Bluff Knoll for the 8th time, This time with the my daughter and her familyWe reached GZ and were glad to take a rest. Had a look around but after a couple of minutes I resorted to the hint. Another five minutes and we located the cache. Signed the log then it was onto the summit.

Day 259 of our 366 day straight challenge. Bluff Knoll with the Geofamily and ChrisRG.
What a great place to stop on the way up. Kids loved the break at the waterfall while ChrisRG and I looked for the cache. ChrisRG ended up finding the goods. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC

found this bad boy on the way back down, many were lost at this point and could not go any further
We were very happy to arrive at this cache, as it meant that one third of our climb was completed (we chose to ignore the fact that we still had two thirds to go . . .). We found the cache fairly quickly and continued on our way.TFTC
On our way up the mountain this cache was a welcomed little break:-) Cheers for placing it strategically to have a good excuse to stop and breathe.
Tomthewizz We found your cache The Little Water Fall thanks for placing this cache for myself and others to find.
With Matty Kay and B12
Logged this one on the way down after passing it enroute to the summit where we carelessly ignored the presence of another cache. Awesome day and a satisfying climb with specie views despite the smoke from lots of fuel reduction fires.
It's been 20 years sinceI last climbed Bluff Knoll, great to get back up here after so many years.
A picture perfect day today, blue skies as far as the eye could see and nice and cool up on top. Plenty of people on the trail today taking advantage of the late Autumn weather.
Quick find here on the return leg. TFTC

Needed the rest, a respite from the long slog up the steps and the hill, and a pretty little place to boot, even without any water. Tftc!
found it on the way down from a sunrise, cute little location but the gps was messing around for a little bit tftc!
Ahhhhh, the Little Waterfall that was actually trickling some water. It was a nice spot to stop and rest a while, but not a spot to linger too long, as the mozzies were quite prepared to carry us away Nice spot for a cache, as it was something to aim for on the trek up. TFTC
On the way up we stopped at the waterfall for a rest but then we kept walking. We only found the cache on the way down. It was a little hard to find but still fun. TFTC
We weren't caching the last time we climbed the bluff, so we had to do it again to pick up the smiley's.
Perfect weather and good company, but it hurts more the older you get.

What a beautiful little waterfall. Found the cache as we were coming back down from the top. The 5year old found this one and it gave him energy to keep going.
Had to turn around 2/3 of the way up bluff knoll, sideways wind and hail up the top. 9 month old wasn't too impressed by the weather however the wildflowers were beautiful.
Gps was a bit off for this one but description makes a fairly easy find

On my way up, we found it. Kids had difficulties to find it, but guessed correctly the location.
Thank you
Thank you
We didn't walk all the way to the top but GPS reception was quite good nevertheless. This was a typical case of »what hiding place would I have chosen?«, i. e., my first guess was right.
Thanks for hiding.

TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. A beautiful day.
Nice easy find on the way to see snow. Just above we got caught in a little flurry of snow.
Thanks for the hide Tomthewizz, great spot for a quick break on our early morning trek up the hill. Fav point from us.
Magic day for a hike and what a spot..make sure you fill your water bottle up from the waterfall! Picked up an eztagz.com 000039 not sure what to do with it...but checking out what to do next
A lovely walk up to waterfall with grandkids , stopped and rested and a bonus to find the cache
Found with itsahoughthing. Found the cache on the way to the summit. A little bit of water flowing through today and we stopped and rested here for a while. Made use of the clue to find the cache. Thanks for the hide.
Family day up bluff knoll.. Was a great day for a hike, unfortunately zero visibility from the peak. Still work the trip!
