My 42nd unfound ACT puzzle. 41 to go.
I studied this at school and after translating and googling what the cache name meant I realised it was a bit simpler than all that.
Out today with Batgirl, who had already found the cache, we stopped by GZ which, despite the coat, it still a bit wet.
Thanks crazy chicken man.

Does need some TLC. The container was flooded and soaked, and the logbook had no plastic sleeve so of course that's ruined to
Temporarily down. We apologise for the inconvenience. - - God's final message to his creation!

Wasn't expecting to be out here today, but had a few minutes spare so decided to do a drive by.
Didn't have my GPSr, but the phone had the Geocaching app so all was well - I thought. Until I found out that the corrected coordinates weren't being loaded via. the app. So after accessing the website, copy/paste the corrected coordinates into a compass app, it was alright from there.
Found cache easily enough, however the locking handles seem to be broken and the container was flooded and soaked!
Managed to write the date, but then the water got to the pen too so I didn't get to write my name

In Canberra to play in the National Canoe Polo Championships. Between games we thought we would grab a few caches. Solved this before we left and made sure we grabbed it while we were here. TFTC
EsromL and I were in Canberra for the National Canoe Polo Championships at Lake Burley Griffin over Easter and managed to squeeze in a few cache finds. A straightforward puzzle and a quick find. The container is not waterproof and the contents are soaked. We emptied the water out and did manage to sign a very wet logbook, but it needs some CO maintenance. Thanks Crazy Chicken Man! for the cache.
A nice easy puzzle, but I think I made a slight mistake somewhere. I was still within 10m though, so it was an easy find.
This cache does needs some love though, it is soaked.
I signed the log the best I could
Thanks.

Thanks.
Very wet inside, we were still able to sign log but owner might need to check to it out.
We decided to head here after work. We had this on the solved list since it was published so it is good to get another one done! TFTC
Had solved this soon after it came out and enjoyed it very much. This has been in my solved but not found list for a while and today there was an unplanned opportunity to swing by while in the area. The solved coordinates weren't in the GPS-r yet, but I thought I'd have a go from dead reckoning anyway. Sure enough I found the well endowed cache in the second spot I looked. The log book was damp but still signable. Thanks for the great puzzle Crazy Chicken Man!

Found on a nice morning around Belconnen. A nicely constructed puzzle that was very educational (I don't learn this language). It was solved within minutes and then we were ready. Got to GZ easily (thanks for the parking spot), but after reading the logs, we had to look 25m away. Once in the obvious spot, it was quickly spotted. We knew that this was near the older larger one - but woah, this is pretty big! Nicely done. TNLNSL. TFTC CCM!
7727. [green]Solving wasn't a drama and finding definitely wasn't a drama. The real drama was finding it in the GPSr. With a name like the characters in this one I simply couldn't bring it up by searching no matter what I tried including changing it's name in GSAK (GSAK really didn't like that...). It finally popped up as a series of question marks once I'd navigated to the area by creating a WP. Weird. But hen as they say - only in..... [/green]

The dog was clean and I had some time for a change so I was looking for a nice easy walk in the suburbs so a lap of Scullin fitted the bill. Looking at the map I noted this puzzle was likely to be on the way so a quick bit of googling and the coordinates were at hand. I remember Canberra's Largest Cache too which was immense and included an extremely large white stuffed gorilla the day I sat in the bushes to log it. This one was a tad smaller and didn't contain any gorilla's at all, but a nice quick find. Thanks Crazy Chicken Man!
What a great puzzle. I really enjoyed it. My GPS had GZ about 25m away but with the help of the Hint and the size of the cache container, the log sheet was soon in hand.
Thanks CCM for a great puzzle and an interesting hunt.

I attempted to remember the Japanese I learnt as a child. I worked out the puzzle as per the rules for Japanese numerals as I remember them. (I have forgotten far more than I remember.) Something went wrong as not all the resulting numbers were right. I used those I though were correct and substituted likely numbers and took a chance and went to the co-ordinates I had. I walked right up to GZ. I was very surprised! Wasn't there once an ex-missile head box cache nearby? TFTC.
Found it with the wife to be plus dog on a nice evening walk. Thankfully the internet makes up for a complete lack of knowledge of Japanese numbers. Thanks for the challenge!
Like others I was 25m from the calculated coordinates. The hint and its size gave it away
7656 + 961 = 8617. Found during a quick run around in the area.
Sitting watching some cricket this afternoon I solved this puzzle (plus the nearby Sudoku one) - it was quite interesting and once again I learned something because of caching. As others have found before me the coords are off a bit but - being such a LARGE container and with a good clue the cache was found nice and quickly.
Thanks again Crazy Chicken Man !! I enjoyed those three finds this lovely Australia Day afternoon !!

Hmmm - I must have bungled the maths! I finally found it 20m away from where I calculated! Oh well, at least I don't need to go back to the drawing board! Thanks, a fun little cache - and not too hard! (And I learnt something new - so a fav from me). THanks CCM.
[green]On a venture north with [pink]Binni*[/pink] to do a little pully-action on another crazy chicken cache, and we figured we'd stop off for a little chicken broth - quite tasty! Dropped a Gumby Star and a very bouncy ball... next to such a busy road - what better? tftc Crazy Chicken Man
2958. After doing the research a few days back, I decided on a visit today while it was a balmy 39 degrees. It obviously wasn't where my iPhone was telling me but which way should I go to look. Turns out, during my arrival, I walked within a metre of it. Must be the heat!!! Nice size!

After checking the numbers onsite for being sensible, we had to make a few corrections. Even then when we could find no other problems it was still a bit further away then expected, but when located it was a great collection of stuff, it just seems a bit exposed here. Thanks.

516 I didn't spend long trying to learn this language, back in the day, before I packed it in and tried something else. But I knew enough to give this a shot. Found with Plofessor on a warm afternoon. Tks Crazy Chicken Man!
#1344 - 18:00; I've been working on a few puzzles as well as clearing a couple of Crazy Chicken Man! caches recently, so thought I'd better have a go at this one. I was familiar with the likely area of GZ from the description having logged the previous very large cache which once occupied the area. It would have taken some effort to remove it! Anyway, solved the puzzle over lunch and headed off to make the find on the way home from work. Like a previous finder, I was over 20 metres from my calculated GZ when I located the cache with the assistance of the hint. Hope regular visits don't leave it too exposed. Grabbed a GC to move on and signed the log before returning the cache and hiding as well as I could. TFTC Crazy Chicken Man!
Sorted the puzzle this morning, although I managed to get one of the numbers of a about f, which as it turned out didn't matter that much. Out this side of town this morning and caught up Albida and dropped by to make the find. Good size container....
Not sure I'll ever need to use the numbers, but thanks for showing anyway....and thanks for the cache...

A quick find, although the coordinates are out by 20m or so, and think this qualifies for a large not a regular, but all in all, a great cache, TFTC Crazy Chicken Man!

Went for a ride with the kids to find this one. Good assortment of swaps but left alone as I wasn't carrying anything. Thanks
Found @ 5:20pm
I enjoyed researching the Japanese numbering system and solving this cache however the coords were about 22m off (I'll send you the coordinates I got).
It certainly is a large cache but I hope it doesn't get easier to see as it will almost certainly get muggled.
Thanks Crazy Chicken Man!

Reperio at 2130. Joint *FTF* with Stormcatchers and Mr Roo!
Headed down from Newcastle this evening for some caching in the lead up to the 10 year Earthcache event at Wasp Head on the weekend. I happened to be 500m away when this one came online...so quickly pulled out my resources and began working on the maths. Having parked at the given parking coordinates while I worked on it...I went for a walk nearby to an area that looked promising. With the puzzle solved...I realised where I should have been...so headed off in that direction. When I arrived, I found Stormcatchers sitting down still working on the puzzle when they simply asked 'Do you have GZ?' As I replied with a 'Yes'...Mr Roo arrived on his bike to help out with the search. The coords had all of us a good 20m away...but in using the hint...I wandered over to find the nice sized cache well tucked away out of sight. A nice puzzle and container.

Bit of a joint *FTF* 9/1/14 Perfect timing on this one as we had just finished dinner in Civic and were in need of our daily fix. Mr Stormcatcher remember most of his high school Japanese and had a set of coordinates. Arrived at GZ...mmmm not sure if you could hide a large cache there. Resorted to the hint and searched the next closest spot to match but we started second guessing ourselves and overlooked it and moved on further up the slope closer to the original cache location. We soon had company of MV and MrRoo and it didn't take long and in fine form MV pulled the cache. About 20m out from calculated GZ (we can send you updated coordinates if you like) . Thanks again for another cache and as they say easy peas-y Japanese-y.

A joint *FTF* with MV and Stormcatchers. I was sitting at home and heard a facebook chat come in. Cankid and he wanted to know if I wanted a ftf as he couldnt get to this side of town. I went sure and soon had the coordinates and was off on my bike. Got to gz and went no way can a cache be there. I then spotted MV and Stormcatchers and they hadnt found it. Soon tho MV came up with the find. Thanks Cankid for your help, TFTC and thanks for the joint ftf MV and Stormcatchers. Hooray a ftf on bike
So I had just got home after doing some caches with the FurfacesLL ladies, sat down and had some dinner.
Just as I had finished, another email came through. Oh wow, another puzzle publication. I opened up the listing and had a quick glance. I had a rough idea how to solve this one quickly however my housemate also had a quick look. Within seconds, boom, out come the coordinates. HOW COOL !!!! Housemate will come in handy, need to get him to look at more puzzles [:p]
So, since he solved it in like 5 seconds flat, it was time to take him out for his first geocaching experience and possibly a first to find.
We arrived at the GZ, had a quick glance in a couple places then went to where the phone was sending me. The coordinates I had were only a couple meters out from the GZ location?
Opened the log and ...................... oh bugger, beaten by MV, SC and MR. Well they musta been quick to solve this one also, we thought we were doing well!!!! lol
Signed log, had a look through the cache. Took nothing left nothing.
Thanks for a nice little puzzle to end the caching treks for today Crazy Chicken Man!
