As I was looking at the map of archived caches to find another one nearby (which was mentioned in the description of an active cache), I noticed this one as well. Despite the large number of people wandering the street today, we managed to find a car park quite nearby and went in search of the plaque. What a gift moving to the area was for that family. Such a long life lived against the odds. Thanks SaintsMadHouse

I found this cache as a member of the team LaMaLaMa (now: Mr_Lama).
Since the team unfortunately split up, I am re-logging with my new account Lærry.
I hope you will understand.
Furthermore I thank you for hiding the many great caches!
Of course I will leave a favo to each cache where the original account did it. If I forget a cache, you are welcome to write to me.
Best wishes, Lærry

I have begrudgingly decided to archive this one, the place is simply too busy to allow for any other type of container and they just keep vanishing. The story remains and I hope people will continue to pass on the story anyhow. I am happy for people to log a "found" if they upload a picture of the tree or the plaque nearby.
Nalezeno při výletě v Tamborine mountain. První log v novém logbooku

Did not find... but found a broken piece of orange string where i presumed it should have been?
I don't know how I missed this last time I came here, but it was a quick find today!

I can't believe I left my geocaching until I was on the way out from my lovely mountain getaway. Was hoping for a couple of quick finds, and was well rewarded here! While my geocaching buddy was distracted looking in the garden, I spotted this little one looking very inconspicuous.
A nice easy find while walking in Eagle Heights. Thanks for bringing us here. Undercover Duo.
Easy grab Found on Tour with Lamm_Bada

A bit of a love story with me on this one as well. I first found this cache back on September 20th (which happened to be the second time I ever dated Jarrahtree). I was awaiting her to come home that day but I knew I could keep myself bvusy with geocaching. That day I didn't have a pencil, or a pen or anything in the car. The cops stopped to ask what I was up to hiding behind the sign but once I started talking to them, we were talking about Patrols and Landcruisers and all these 4x4 for awhile. Probably the best chat I ever had with coppers, lol. Oh yeah, the date went splendid and the rest is history. I was able to come back here with Jarrahtree and I showed her what a nano container looked like for the first time.
Cheers SaintsMadHouse

#5 Birthday Trail. Dez (JezNDez) and I hung around waiting for a clear Muggle free time, with me expressing a great interest in spiders!! Neat little hide. TFTC.
Wasn't an easy find and the spiders with their webs didn't help either.

At Mt Tamborine yesterday and after a very fulfilling lunch where we almost had to roll out, we went for a stroll to work some of it off, hopefully. Ended up near this cache so while we here had a look. I'd looked straight past it but the keen eyes of Black Flag Angel made the find. TFTC, signed and returned.
Day five of our week in Coolangatta and a trip to Mt Tamborine to check put the sites and experiences. Had a great day sampling a few of the things on offer and finished off with a 4km walk through the rain forest. - to compensate for the sampling and a geocache reward at the end.
Enjoyed the history associated with this cache and the associated plaque. Made a quick find, sign and replace.
Thanks for the cache SaintsMadHouse [^] - we made the find and the cache was in good order and the log dry .
This was find # 1 of 6 and 0 today giving us a total cache count of 3256.

On holiday from NZ and took a day trip up the mountain. Found easily although a bit more difficult to return. Thanks very much SaintsMadHouse for an interesting placement.
Nice quick retrieval but a very slow put back, why did muggles have to decide it was a great place for a GTG. TFTC
Ooh - an event up the Mountain! Must go and also do some caching for a day out. What better than an event to get the geocaching juices going? So today Mrs RoddyC and DiamonJs are doing the honours.
We let our eyes be distracted by an attachment here, but after investigating the area thoroughly, the item was soon spotted, so a quick grab and moved away for signing.
Log signed but when we went to replace. the area became a meeting place of friends. Once they turned their backs to walk up the hill, it was time to make our dash.
Found at 10.25am on 18th July 2016. TFTC

I need to get a log sheet in this one but I am on holidays. Feel free to try to find it but know that you need to squeeze you name in next to someone elses.
3.5 weeks in Australia, 3300 km on the road and also many by foot, lots of animals - some nice (kangaroos, koalas!) and some less nice (spiders, snakes) -, frosty nights in the Blue Moutains, heavy storms and rainfall, and finally lovely sunny weather at the Gold Coast, many nice and relaxed people: this was a really great holiday in Australia! And not to forget: 80 caches found
Well, actually we came to Tamborine Mountain since somebody told us that there are nice views of the Gold Coast. Unfortunately, these spots are not indicated anywhere. So, we strayed a little bit, found one "lookout" just at a street, but left soon. At least, we found a cache - after a DNF nearby, where also a police car stopped and asked if we are missing something...

Honeymoon in Down Under - what a great experience an wonderful time! We were able to travel from Melbourne to Brisbane (including Great Ocean Road, Bendigo, Echuca, Canberra, Blue Mountains, Sydney, Hunter Valley, Port Macquarie and many other great places!) 3,5 weeks in total. Of course we also had to search for some containers and Eclipse-boxes !
We did not found what we were searching for (great views of Gold Cost, another Tradi nearby), but we found this one - at least one succes at Tambourine Mountain!

Quite interesting! Months later I've noticed that this one should be logged by me, but it wasn't tagged on the map.
It is just silly me.
Anyway, back in July we had an awesome day doing some hiking around mt. Tambourine and it was a good time. I remember finding this nipple there as well. I just think that log was terribly full and needed some maintenance.
Thanks for a nice day out and showing us this place!

Afternoon tea nearby with the family - oh wait there's a cache at the corner! Had to go and make the find of course! Here from Melbourne for a weeks holiday, you could see the rain clouds rolling in from the ocean.... Luckily today is rain free and this nano didn't elude my geoson and I for more than a minute!
Thanks saintsmadhouse for placing this one!
*** log book is completely full *** please replace!!

Visiting from NZ and found this on a day tour to Mount Tamborine with vz1pp, saw lots of baby lizards, tftc
Visiting Gallery Walk with friends today. I couldn't resist stopping and looking for this one. It was found easily enough and the clue helped as well. Thanks for the cache, SaintsMadHouse!
Today my target was my 6,000th cache and I had been working on a D5 in preperation for the milestone. I needed 2 more finds before the milstone and then once I had done the milestone cache, I headed up to Mount Tamborine for another visit. I still have a few to do up there, so I hope to get back up there before I head home next week.
So the milestone had been achieved, so I headed up towards Mount Tamborine for an afternoon on the hill.
Nice quick find here, think the hardest thing was finding somewhere to park, seems Mt Tamborine is popular today!!
Thanks SaintsMadHouse for the placement of this cache[^]

I have been driving past this tiny treasure many times a day for years. Not to mention the hundreds of times I've past it on my walks in the evening.
Out at dusk with my geo son and sister. A great find for her first find. Thank you so much.
at 13:04 during a lunch stop on a bus trip to Tamborine with Chermside Probus.
Once again, TFTC SaintsMadHouse. This cache is also fine though rolling up the log tight enough to go back in was a problem.

TFTC An easy find and our first on our day trip to this great little place. Lots to see and do
I don't know how many times I've walked past this tree in the roundabout and never knew there was a story connected to it. Thank you for enlightening me, such a beautiful area. I always love it up here. Located cache quickly, TFTC SaintsMadHouse for another great hide.
From Canberra but out still holidaying. Seeing sites and caching with geo hubby... Tftc
Staying with geo wife's son at the bottom of the mountain we decided to get a few caches.
Thank you
Thank you
Having spent too long chasing caches down near Nerang, we finally arrived up on the range just before closing time...4:00pm...much earlier than we expected. Still, we had enough time to buy some fudge before talking a stroll up and down Gallery Walk...and finding a cache at each end. This was the second of two caches...a simple find in a typical location.
Thanks SaintsMadHouse for putting this cache here.

Found this on our day trip to Tamborine mountain and Lamington national park. Such beautiful views, I highly recommend these places to everybody!
Cache was quickly found and left some time to see some shops too. Tftc.

Visited this stretch of restaurants, cafes and interesting shops whilst visiting the Gold Coast from Melbourne. After a delicious lunch nearby, I took my muggle nephews to find this cache. I spotted it quickly and then the others to make the find. A nice small cache &the hide. Well done. I reckon my nephews might just enjoy this sport! TFTC
Busy intersection. Busy area! But with everyone either looking for another fudge shop or looking at their phones, we were under no threat of discovery
A fast find on my daytrip to Tamborine Mountain and Lamington Nationalpark.
TFTC!

Easy find but harder to extract log. Borrowed tweezers from a coffee shop after trying at gz for 5 minutes. A great tree and read plaque closeby. TFTC
New log sheet in place. Found cache in a spot far too high for someone in a wheelchair to access, i barely reached it. Please place back where you find it and NOT where you want it.to go.

A slow morning so we decided a little caching was in order.
Chose the Canungra, Tamborine Mountain, Eagle Heights, Maudsland & Guanaba areas as our targets for the afternoon.
A nice quick find despite many muggles constantly passing by.
Logged & replaced as found.
Log is full & needs replacing.

On a day up the mountain, not a lot of caching, but managed to convince the family to help me seek a couple. We found this soon after a parade of motorcycles streamed past. Thankfully everyone's eyes were on them. The log, as mentioned in previous logs, is full. Made a small mark and returned. tftc SaintsMadHouse
We parked the car and all got out, and I fiddled with my back-pack and when I looked up everyone had disappeared. Never mind, I thought, I'll just wait here until someone comes back. In the meantime, I'll check for caches.
A nice and easy find thanks to the hint. The log sheet is full, but I managed to squeeze our initials and date into a gap. Unfortunately the end of the log came off while I was rolling it back up. Sorry about that.
Thanks for the cache.

Not a easy one to look for with so many muggles driving around the roundabout.
