Found on a cache trail around the cotter region .Found, signed and replaced .Many thanks to Kittykatch.
During our weeks trip with Bare Foot Guru, Infoferret and Trinity to the Canberra Mega we logged as a combination of "BFG, CF, BIC, BITC" depending on who we were caching with at the time. The trip took us on a flight to Melbourne first, then a drive to Canberra, followed by a drive to Sydney before flying out again. Where possible I will add commentary to each find about the cache. Thanks for all the caches, hides and effort put into hiding and maintaining them.Found on the way back from Tidbinbilla after visiting the Satellites. Had barely turned the car around and BFG had found and logged the cache.

Checked on cache while camping nearby. All good and nice to see the container in such good condition.
Found this nice Cache together with Dino and Flintstones. Thank you for putting it out and maintaining it Kittykatch and GrimRaider.
An overnight campaign at the Cotter for Dino's birthday party. While here we did the local caches which I had always neglected when driving past. Quick find, nice fun cache, all in good order. Thank you Kittykatch and GrimRaider for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
Found with Moonb1, McLookers, Maccamob, Muzza, Pprass, Team Crackers, Rabbitto et al on a day caching in the Canberra Area.
We hit Canberra on a cache assault with Alansee, maccamob, McLookers, Micaparamedic, Moonb1, Muzza , Rabbitoh and Pprass Drive
We were picking up caches around the Cotter Dam area. We did enjoy this drive and the hides and enough room for two cars at most locations.
The sun had broken through the fog by now and the scenery was great
With this many eyes looking the most of the caches were found quite quickly and the log book signed.
To save room in the Logs signed as "Vic1"
Many thanks for the cache

Alansee worked out a route for us to do today which included some very challenging AL's and we ended up at an event where the locals were to meet us! A big day that showed the beauty of the ACT and surrounds after the fog finally lifted! Most of the caches were way under rated though - nearly all of them were just a D/T of 1.5/1.5 no matter how hard they were to get to or find them - not very imaginitive in that sense.
Thanks to Kittykatch

Found Barnyard 3 yesterday but ran out of time so ducked back out today for a couple more. TFTC.
TFTC Beautiful autumn day for a walk in these parts. Easy find and retrieval here today. A few campers still about.
Grateful thanks to CO for placing and maintaining the caches to entertain me on my journey.

A nice simple find - good for weekdays when there are fewer muggles around! Thank you.
Rescued the creature and the log with a stick while camping at the campground.

Campground closed at the moment so could not drive in. But could walk through, so did that to go to other caches. This was a quick find. TFTC
Pulling up at the campground to stay the night the first thing I did when I arrived was look to see how far the closest cache was.....70m away !!!
I was straight over there and made a quick find before setting up for the weekend, sure is a beautiful spot out here.

This was a cute find.
Kittiekatch and Graham brought me here while we had some time to kill before dinner. They told me about their camping trips here with family and friends over the years and it sounded nice. I thought about my own daughters and the places that I had taken them camping over the years.
Thanks for sharing this cache with me.

Out exploring more of the Cotter with my grandad today. Found this one after our walk up to Casuarina Climb. Plenty of campers and muggles out today, had to watch out for them when finding the cache. Blindly stuck my hand into a web-filled hole hoping for the cache and not a sneaky bite; thankfully I came up with the goods. Was hard to write on the log with my pen, so just signed as B21. TFTC!
A quick find by geokid A whilst staying at this wonderful campground for a week. We left our home in North Yunderup, Western Australia on Boxing Day and have crossed Australia grabbing a few geocaches along the way. (We would've found more but we are travelling with my muggle parents ) We are starting to head back to Western Australia tomorrow. We have had an amazing adventure. This is team SCJAZ's 470th find and our 2nd ACT geocache. We found this geocache at about 7.30pm on 20/1/1/20 and had trouble signing your log with a few pens. Luckily we found a sharpie in my parents caravan that did the trick. Thank you for placing this geocache here in this beautiful place for us to find
I was a bit under the weather last weekend, but since it was so lovely and warm I couldn't stop myself going for an easy walk here near Cotter Dam.
Barnyard Animals 1: got this as I parked at the campground for my second walk of the afternoon. Cute!

The place was almost empty at dusk, just one muggle car about 50m away. Fished it out, pen didn't work on the "paper", so there's a scribble for me

We were camping here at the Cotter Campsite for a few days. I had checked the app and had noticed that there were a few caches quite close by, including this one. In fact, this was the closest to our site.
I had spotted this cache container a day or two prior, but hadn't got around to making the grab. I knew there was no hurry, and that we would just have to make sure there were no muggles about when we came for the find. Today was a good option to pick this one up. I let my little kid make the grab while I shielded him from any nearby muggles who might be able to see.
We soon had completed signing duties and the cute container was ready to be returned to its hiding place.

We stopped here to have a cuppa and look at the campground. The cache was located in the second place we looked. A cute cache.
Thanks for the hide Kittykatch.

Was surprised at how many campers there were here at the moment but must say it didn't look too inviting in the inclement weather. The cache was found safe and sound, Thank you.
The cache was a quick find and was in good condition and is a little bit cute. We had found it, we signed it, we replaced it, and now we have logged it.
Staying in Canberra for a few days so will get a few cache while here. Thanks for the cache that we found here today Kittykatch and GrimRaider, Lil Donna
The campground is on the banks of the Cotter River. It is on the outskirt of Canberra with a shopping centre not very far away. Doesn’t matter what you are camping in from the very small swag to the family caravan they are all welcome here. Some bonus here is the hot showers, flushing toilets as well as washup areas gas & electrical barbecues and wood for fires. You don’t even need to book before you arrive there is a ranger around somewhere or an honesty box for your use.
You can access the river for fishing and swimming, go canoeing or walk a trail or look for another cache or even just sit back and relax. The kids can go and play on the play equipment and have lots of fun. There is so much around here and not far away. We will be back soon to explore soon.

I went out caching with my mum Kittykatch today and found some caches at the Cotter. We camped a lot here when I was a kid so it was funny to find the places where the caches were hidden.
I went out caching with Kickbox_Mouse and Rogue_One today to find our first caches out at the Cotter. Thank goodness Kittykatch was there to help us - so much technology but this looks like fun.
Found our first caches out at the Cotter today. Great day to be learning about caching and having a swim in the river too. Thanks Kittykatch for taking us out and showing us what to do.
Driving from Canberra to Uriarra trail Star Wars and Cotter road and other caches we pass.
Scenic road. Good coords for all of them.

As we were finishing our walk, and just before the arrival of the rain, a quick cache was to be had. I guessed as farmyard animal it would be moo! But no, a bray! Fun find. TFTC Kittykatch and GrimRaider. Travelbugbear photoed with find.
This was cache find number four for the day. The geoson and I are out here today for a Christmas party at the Cotter. We dropped past here along the way.
Although I've been out past here many times over the years, I've never camped here. Perhaps I ought to bring my boys out here just to give them the experience.
This was an easy and delightful find. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sign the log with my pen. It just wouldn’t write on the surface. So I took a photo of the log instead.

Another glorious day and the vast array of caches on offer at the Cotter beckoned. I wandered around without any real plan, just seeing where the day led me. Found most of what I was looking for and had a generally lovely time.
After wandering up to the top of the dam I wandered over here. I had tried to wander here earlier in the day but ended up at Cotter Construction instead, so it was pretty nice to finally be here. And I found the cache! How cool is that? TFTC

A quick find at the end of a long caching day. Cache in good condition and I signed it DSD
I was happy to spend a day caching out west of Canberra with MinnieK and Fitzy1965. We headed out via the new set of Uriarah road caches, including the Starwars ones. Then we went up the ridge behind Cotter Reserve and finished the Paddys caches. Last was a trip in to the Bindebellas proper with a visit to Sherwood and finishing on Two sticks road. A fantastic day with a bit of fog but no real rain.
Thanks.

After a meeting involving pies at Weetungera, we set up camp at The Cotter Campground so we could explore nearby Mt Stromlo and the Deep Space Centre. Thanks Kittykatch and GrimRaider. This was an easy find.

Since I drive past here from time to time now Im glad to knock off these caches when I finally have some time up my sleeve. Cache found easily.

fitzy_1965 and I originally had plans for this weekend but they fell through so we decided to join the growing group of trekkers for the first 35 of the UFO series. We camped at the Cotter the night before so that we didn't have to drive in from Goulburn and made it to Kambah Pool by 9.30am luckily as both our phones were almost dead.
Before leaving our camp, I checked the guardrails in case there was a cache. Lo and behold I soon had this little guy in my hands. Signed the log the best I could (my pen didn't like the paper).

Caching with TheSkype today in the cotter, it wasn't a easy day, humid, lots of walking and muggles. Long weekend so this campground was full, lucky no one was about. Tftc
Safely found at this hidden campground on our geobikes. Many thanks to the COs Littykatch and GrimRaider for establishing and maintaining this cache.
After a weekend of sitting sewing/etc, and stuffing my face with way too much food, at a quilt retreat nearby at Greenhills, I decided I needed some excercise, and what better than a bit of Geocaching therapy on top of the quilting therapy? lol
This was find # 6 for the day (5th after the quilt retreat - I went and found one down the river before breakfast, causing some entertainment when I walked in to the dining room half way through breakfast with a smile on my face and scratches and blood on my arms - lol)
TFTC - Had to make sure I didn't laugh too loudly while being sneaky... Also had to duck back to my car to get a different pen because the one I was going to use wouldn't write on that weird paper..
